So we got our order and ate it in the car (eating barbecue in a car is EXTREMELY difficult.) I have to say that I was impressed with how everything tasted! It was so good!!! I should be able to get a 2 meat plate with double tri tip. The boy in there said I can't do that to get the dinner plate it's cheaper. I just wanted extra meat not a whole other meal for my Lil brother in the car. I didn't ask the price. I wanted what I wanted he could have made me pay extra but he said no we don't do that here. I'm not the biggest fan of their BBQ and sides. Their desserts are on point though. I had 2 bad experiences when ordering. Like I said their desserts are amazing so I ordered a peach cobbler a day in advance for mother's day and when I showed up to pick up the order they had given away my peach cobbler. They called me later that night and told me that they would come in early on mother's day so I could pick up the peach cobbler for my mom.. This is a takeout spot. Very friendly owners and staff. great food. As soon as we walked in they gave us all a free sample of there ribs and there sauce is amazing! Pit potatoe was awesome and super hooked up. very decent prices. Catfish was very juicy and had good flavor. There potatoe salad was good, very sweet. What attracted me was the bbq grill belowing smoke n the parking lot but when I went back 2 weeks later to place a order I was extremely disappointed. The person b4 me was a 1st time customer as was I & need information on details about the potato, after he placed his order she said "do u want a recipe"? I thought that was given. Thanks to Groupon I found this hidden gem in Rialto. BBQ ribs good, chicken had great smoky flavor. Hot, spicy hot link. Baked beans good, mac& cheese ok. I didnt get a chance to complete my order because the kid working there tried to pull a fast one and insert a $36.70 tip on my $35.61 order..giving me a total of $72.31. tried to lie his way out of it insisting that the machine had been doing that all day and that it wouldnt ACTUALLY charge me. I said cancel it please.He then refunded the tip amount(36.70) and asked how i wanted to pay to continue my order...I explained to him that he only refunded the amount HE put in the tip section and that my original $35.61 still had been charged. He came up with every excuse to try and tell me different. It was like pulling teeth to get him to refund the remainder but i got it done and wont be going back. I got the rib dinner plate and their ribs were ok but tasted more like boiled ribs and their sauce wasnt good at all. Their bbq sauce tasted like marinara with a hint of bbq sauce mixed together or some kind of tomato base was added to it, not what bbq sauce is suppose to taste like. I was looking for a sweet and tangy and smokey flavor but it tasted washed out with whatever they added to it. My girl got the hotlink sandwich and it was 2 hotlinks on 2 hotdog buns, not a hotlink sandwich at all. Mac n cheese was wack tasted like pepper and not enough cheese at all but the greens were decent tasting I give them that. Service was great but I'm giving it 1 star because one of the biggest roaches I've seen (not your household typical roach) ran up to my feet, shot scared the hell out of me and I jumped up and walked out the door and waited for my food cause I believed the food would be better than what I just saw but that should have been a sign to say never mind and get my money back. Read all the 1 and 2 star reviews about food and they are 100% true...pepper tasting mac n cheese, spaghetti like sauce, lack of smokey flavor, it's not how bbq should be and should be ashamed for selling this stuff to people. One of the best true BBQ places I've went , there is a big difference between true BBQ and grilled and this is real BBQ , the sauce is delicious and the portion was good , I was full half way through. Not a big fan of the Macaroni but I'm picky beyond picky so don't take me up on that my boyfriend loves it. I really wanted to like this place. I was starving and my bf and I were really craving some good BBQ. The ONLY reason it's even getting two stars is because of the customer service. The woman at counter was very sweet and friendly. The food was at BEST mediocre. My bf got a chicken plate. It was pretty much burnt, dry chicken saturated in some so-so BBQ sauce. I ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich and they gave me two pieces of the same chicken my bf got with two slices of regular white bread. Last I checked that did not indicate a sandwich. Needless to say I ended up not eating and ordering room service from our hotel. read more
