Dickey's Barbecue is one of the first places our family thinks of when we want to go out and enjoy good barbecue. The meat here is always delicious, especially the ribs -- they are my absolute favorite My husband usually chooses the chicken, and I almost always go for the ribs. And of course, we never skip the potato on the side. The only thing we really miss is the fresh salads, especially the Caesar salad. It used to be such a perfect addition to the meal. I think I'm being a little generous with 4 stars. If I'm being real, it's more like a 3.7 out of 5, but I rounded up. It's a decent place that gets the job done. The brisket had good flavor. The pork ribs were alright, nothing that really stands out. Honestly, the sides and appetizers ended up being the more enjoyable part of the meal and made everything come together better. My wife loves the loaded baked potato, simple but surprisingly good. The fried okra and barbecue beans were also solid and definitely worth getting. Pricing is fair. September 19- Only came to try this place out was because they were doing a BOGO promotion and it seemed like a good price for it too. Off the bat we ordered for picked up and it said it'll be ready for pick up in 20 mins . My boyfriend and I came to the place to pick up thinking we would get it right way since it took us like 25-30 mins instead. Nope, didn't even start on the order. My boyfriend came out and told me they haven't started it but we were able to get the drinks. I asked him if anybody was in there and he told me it was dead which mad me even more mad honestly. It literally took a whole hour just to get the food since we had to wait another 30 mins JUST for it to be made again. Thats just the service part for my bad review. After that we both sat down and started to dig in. I genuinely laughed at what I was given for. For how much I paid for the food. For how pricey the food is the portion wasn't it. We Liked it! Okay, it's fast food BBQ and you can get a BEER! We ordered Uber eats and picked up, buy One get one pulled pork sandwiches and added a rib on the side. We weren't planning on going to the location but glad we did. The manager on duty was super nice. Let me start by saying this review is strictly based on service as I am presently sitting here waiting on my food and am already so frustrated that I don't honestly even want it. If it weren't for the fact that my daughter is a the me and hungry, I would have left. Finally, she says my order the right way and I hand her my card and it's $53 for a combo meal and a side order of brisket chili Mac and a side order of okra. This sparks my request for an itemized receipt. $20 for a side of okra?! Wt? Nope. Not today Satan! So I ask, why is a side order of okra $20? She says, well you asked for large. Mind you, when I ordered the SIDE ORDER of brisket chili Mac, she asked me what size I wanted showed me a teensy cup for regular and a maybe 8-10 ounce cup as the large, so when she asked me large or regular for the okra I thought it was the same sizes. Oh no. The large SIDE of okra is enough to feed a family of 6 easy!!!! So I ask her, how does it make sense that I would want to eat or even be able to eat that much okra? It's literally just me and my little girl. There's no way I could have eaten that even if she helped me. Btw, when I asked her for the itemized receipt, she said she could only take a picture of the screen with my phone to do that. Please look at this photo and tell me where you see brisket chili Mac? There are a couple of Dickey's I think, but this one is great. It is hard to find decent barbeque in San Bernardino, but Dickey's has it all. First, the service is super nice and ever so friendly. We were served right away and everything was as ordered and hot. You can eat inside, take away or have it delivered. We ate right there and had a great time. We ordered a lot of stuff and just shared it all. It was all so good. Their turkey, be it in a sandwich or just on a plate is great and you must have the beans with that and the waffle fries. They have a brisket that is so tender and juicy and you get a good sized portion. Their turkey is tender and so flavorful. You also need to try all their sides. There is not one that is not super. Food was ok not the best BBQ, but not the worst. We got 2 XL family meals. We got a variety of meats and sides. Brisket was good but needed to be cut thinner to really enjoy. Turkey was moist and tasty. Chicken was not good. Sausages' was ok. Ribs were over sauced and tasted mediocre. Pulled pork was yummy. The sauces they have are all pretty basic. Orginal, spicy and sweet. Buns were not good at all and the sides were not very good. Mac n cheese tasted like KFC, potatoes were dry, green beans had no bacon:( even though they said they did, beans' baked and spicy were alright. Undecided if we will return?
