It was our first time to Texas Road House. We were hesitant to come into this location because of the 3.5 stars But I was Hangry, we all know a woman hangry is not the business. Anywho, we came in with a 10 min wait, the young host was not friendly or kind at all. The young lady that walked us back to our table didn't even make eye contact with us Right away I was like oh there's the 3 stars. We got sat in Hailey's section. I'm so glad we did. Hailey greeted us as soon as we sat down with a friendly smile. We Informed Hailey it was our first time and we needed some time to order. Hailey went over the menu with us gave us some suggestions and was genuinely curious asking questions on what we might enjoy. We took Hailey suggestion and ordered the Filet Medallions with veggies and sweet potatoes. 10/10 recommended! We also ordered the chicken and Filet combo. Pleasantly surprised the chicken was not dry! The mashed potatoes were so good nice and fresh! The ribs needed to be recooked and Hailey was so sweet about us sharing how they were over cooked. She didn't make us feel bad for reordering new ones. She apologized and brought us new ones and those in fact did fall off the bone! Overall the vibes were busy in the restaurant but, Hailey's genuine personality, friendly smile and gracious suggestions made this visit worth while! I came into this meal with little expectations. I figured it would be just like Outback or Longhorn. This place is actually quite a bit better than those places. First of all, the rolls that they bring to the table as they seat you are dangerous good. You can easily get full off of these without realizing it because they are not stingy with these things. Soft, chewy and slightly sweet, and even better with the apple butter it comes with. Secondly, for the money, the food is very good. My smokehouse burger was excellent, full of cheeses mushrooms, and onions. It was huge but I wanted more. The steak fries were pretty good as well. My wife had a filet that would be triple the price at a fancy steakhouse, but to be honest, this one was every bit as good. This is the only one I've ever been to, so I don't know if the service is this good at all of them, but the waitstaff was awesome. The place was packed and food and drinks came out quick and right when you needed it. They were super friendly no matter which employee you came across. I did notice they really pack the folks in here, so to be honest, I felt a bit cramped, but the food and the service definitely made up for it. If I lived closer to one I'd definitely put it on the rotation. I will not complain if anyone suggested going here either. If you want a good tasting and quality steakhouse meal, you cannot beat the value here. It is hands down the best chain steakhouse I've ever been to. read more

The gripe I have with this particular location is Texas' motto that "Everything's bigger in Texas" doesn't apparently apply to people. Everytime we come here we always request a table or a table/booth because the booths are small or "average" and it doesn't accommodate my family member. So, for tonights meal we got on the waitlist online and put in for a highchair and wheelchair access because there's no other options for special requests to put in a request for "table or table/booth" so typically we get seated somewhere where a wheelchair is allowed and they accommodate with a chair. We got here within our timeframe, checked in and waited a little bit before someone called us who then led us to a two person booth. I told her we requested wheelchair access and a booster seat online, AND with the hostess at the door. Both times communicated and it still got overlooked. So we got ushered. Ask to waiting area to wait "maybe 20 more minutes" I can't speak for other locations as I've been to locations in other parts of CA, AZ & VA so I can't say it's a company wide problem as far as the seating issue. read more

On our way back from Yaamava, we stopped for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Although crowded at 6 pm, there was ample parking. We were promptly seated and were pleasantly pleased with the delicious dinner rolls and honey butter which were provided upon seating. We had noticed that the facility had complimentary roasted and salted peanuts for guests waiting. I ordered the 8 oz sirloin (medium), seasoned corn and sweet potato. All were prepared perfectly and the service was excellent. The meat was tender, cooked nicely and the accompaniments were tasty and in a nice portion. I'd highly recommend Texas Roadhouse to those wishing a good steak, good service and fair price. We'll be back! read more

They were packed on Thursday night! Very glad we put ourselves on the waitlist about 10 minutes before arriving. Lots of birthdays which was fun. Our server was very nice, but she did ask us if we wanted things that were an up-charge without informing us that they were, which I don't like. (ie "do you want your mashed potatoes loaded?") I knew it was an up-charge but I think it's best practice to let people know so they don't complain/get surprised later. I wouldn't order the ribs again because they were dry and I also wouldn't order the BBQ chicken because it's truly just chicken with sauce on it. We LOVE the seasoned rice and they cooked our steaks perfectly (medium and medium rare). The fries were well seasoned too. I also liked the chili a lot it was very flavorful. The FREE house rolls are my fav. This fresh, slightly sweet dinner rolls are amazing T^T (tears of joy). I can eat baskets of this if I wasn't saving room for actual dinner. The housemade honey cinnamon butter that it comes with is also a perfect pair for it. Also, don't be shy asking for more rolls. I appreciate how the staff even encourages you to do so. Peanuts Free! Comes in bags so you can eat here or grab and go. Fried Pickles Good but salty. Ribeye Steak  When cooked right (medium rare) it is SOOO GOOD. However, I am a little cursed... I tend to end up with medium or medium well even tho I always ask for medium rare. For example on my last visit here, the steak was not cut evenly so some parts were just right while some parts were overcooked. Ribs Enjoyed it. Significant for me to say bc I've been going though a phase where I'm tired of Western/American Style bbq ribs. I think the usual prep for it just involves too much sauce and dry, overcooked meat. Not the case at here. The ribs are not over-sauced (tho you can ask for extra if you like that) and fall off the bone tender.  Sides: Have tried baked sweet potato w/ honey butter cinnamon (ofc), house salad w/ honey lime dressing (would buy a bottle of this dressing), fresh veggies (steamed broccoli and carrots), and mushroom. Among these, I'd add that the sweet potato is very delicious and filling. The veggies are standard. For the mushroom, don't get it as a side like I did, just get the add on gravy version for +$2.99 so that you can smoother it on your steak.  For first timers, I'd say JUST DO IT and go for the 12oz ribeye & rib combo for $38.99 for the best of both words. I have never been to a Texas Roadhouse before this experience and I thought the food was great! We can for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon as a group of 7 with no reservation and we were seated in about 10 minutes. The restaurant is huge so can serve a lot of people. We had some peanuts in the lobby while we waited. We ordered the cactus blossom/blooming onion to share and then everyone got individual steak dishes. Their steak is about $30 per dish which is such a great deal since most restaurants charge $50-60 for a filet mignon. I'm sure their meat quality is not the same as fancier places but my steak was still cooked a nice medium rare and tasted great. We spent ~$200 for all of us (kids shared a dish). Free parking in the lot but it was pretty busy even on a Saturday outside of peak meal times. read more

Ok my first time here and I been wanting to do date night here. I finally came this past Sunday and was happy to try it. The wait was an hour but it went by fast and we did other things while we waited. We could put our number down and they text you while your seat is being prepared. Then wait on the deck number they put you on. The food was very good!!!! I was happy in love with the bread biscuits and the good butter they gave us for a starter. For my entree I got the grilled salmon w/ baked potato and Caesar salad... honestly it was very good and had so much good flavor to it!! Made to perfection in my opinion! Oh no! I'm really sad honestly! This location is always busy & it was always for good reason, until the last two times we went. I wanted to wait to leave a review because I thought maybe the time before last it was maybe just a bad night, but no. They're quality of food has gone down a lot & on top of that, the reservation (waitlist) it basically useless because even when it says your table is ready it's not really ready. It took us 35 minutes to be seated after getting that text & notifying the hostess. On top of that, why do they have literally 7 hostesses standing around doing nothing when waiters & waitresses & slammed? Then waiter & waitress got our food wrong. Husband ordered BBQ burger & got some other burger. Kids got chicken tenders, ended up being chicken bits that were really dry & look at my photo, that's all that came with it & it was able to fit in the palm of my hand. After joining, we received a text with instructions, and once we arrived, we replied "here" and were seated immediately. As the host guided us to our table, she was speaking to us, but the music was a bit loud, making it difficult to hear. We experienced the same issue with our waitress, as she had to repeat our order and requests several times due to the noise level. We ordered the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables, as well as the sirloin with corn and chili beans. Go hungry, come out stuffed! Texas Roadhouse is always busy. Not once have I seen any of the locations empty when I've visited. There is always a wait. Luckily, they have a waitlist on their website and you can add yourself to it before you arrive. Which is great because sometimes it already shows 1 hr-2hr wait. You then text them once you are there and they will let you know once it's time to check in to be seated. It's a whole thing but better than just showing up without being on the waitlist. The crown jewel here is their super soft fresh baked rolls with that honey cinnamon butter. OMG , too too good. It's free and you can keep asking for more. The best bang for your buck is the Fort Worth Ribeye. The Fort Worth Ribeye comes with two sides. You can choose 12oz, 14oz, and 16 oz steak. For around $30 that's a great deal for a Ribeye meal. Our server was super attentive and friendly. Ps - the loaded baked potato is always a win! The flakey salt on the potato skin too, yumm. read more

It's meant for 6 people but they pulled out an extra seat for us. Too bad they didn't have a bigger table. Our server was awesome. She gave us recommendations and started us off with the complimentary hot fresh bread rolls with honey cinnamon whipped butter, a signature item! She kept our waters and bread stocked throughout our entire dining experience, sometimes without us even asking. The manager even stopped by to give us complimentary peanuts with a discount for our next visit! Definitely worth coming off hours to receive this type of above and beyond service. I ordered a 16 oz medium rare prime rib to share with my partner and it was super super tender! My one complaint is that a good 4 oz of it was a large chunk of fat. With the unlimited bread, we couldn't even finish our sides. Portions were bigger than I expected. The sauce that came with this order paired well. We did pass on the horse radish though. We also ordered blooming cactus for the entire table to share. The music is a little loud so it's a bit hard to hear over it and the area is a bit dim, but it seems like the nature of this kind of diner. The only minor issue was that I asked for medium rare, but by the time I got home it turned into more like medium, and the medium one became medium well. So if you're ordering takeout, definitely ask for it a little rarer than usual. The restaurant itself is always super busy and pretty noisy, so if you want a cozy dinner-for-two at home or a chill game-night gathering with friends, this is honestly the best option -- same delicious steak, just more peaceful. Plus, you can open your own bottle of wine at home and save a little money. Texas Roadhouse has never disappointed me. Plenty of parking. Restaurant is clean and well lit. Disappointingly my meat wasn't too good the last three visits. My wife's filet way undercooked and my ribeye was super charred with burnt edges. I took it to go but couldn't even eat it the next day so I had to throw it out. They are know for their meat/steaks but lately it's been disappointing. The rest of the menu is fantastic but the person on the meat line needs to skill up and or pay attention more... I'll probably skip this place for a while! The wedges were extremely oily and the boneless wings appeared to just be cut up pieces of chicken covered in sauce. The snake bites were the best part of that. For my entree I had the ribeye with ribs, baked potato, and dinner salad. The salad was good but not hard to mess up, my steak was cooked perfectly, the ribs were too salty in my opinion, and the baked potato was ok (I felt is should've been baked a little longer). The service and our waiter were on point. We used the waitlist which I highly suggest when dining in.
