When I say the service was just mediocre like He didn't really do much for us at all. We were having trouble pulling up the QR code they didnt have any paper menu print outs for us and the server was explaining little to nothing about the menu. And we then ordered our meals and drinks ate our food which was the only decent part of the restaurant. When it was time to pay I seen that I was charged a dollar for ROCKS??? I can get a bag of ice at the gas station the server didn't say anything about this up charge neither was it on the menu and he also charged a dollar for juices so for the 3 drink I was charged an extra 6$ for add ons which is usually free at most establishments. And when I brought it up to the server he had soo much attitude as if I'm colored person who doesn't have money I don't like being finessed and then seen him later at a different table super happy and nice compared to how he was to my family read more

We go every Thursday for trivia, and have a great time. Cool little dive bar that is popular with the locals. The wings are especially good.

We loved this neighborhood joint. The beer list was amazing and the pizza was great! Stay away from the pastas and get what they are known for - calzones and pizza. This place probably at one time had a chance to be a really nice place. It has that whole Cheers feel, only problem with the feel is it is just that, a feeling. On any given day you will see the regulars in their familiar places. Just don't try and become a regular without sending in a resume and memo stating why you want to be a regular. Myself along with multiple coworkers used to eat lunch here about 3-4 times a week. My last interaction which also happens to be just that MY LAST, was rather unpleasant. The food was delivered after what seemed like an eternity of waiting ( 2 beers were consumed if that gives you a time frame). One of my co workers made a comment about the pizza not tasting that good and was greeted with, "Maybe if you wouldn't have covered it in hot sauce it would taste better" I then had to leave early due to a meeting at my office and asked the server/bartender to swipe my card for payment. While that was happening, I asked who I have always assumed was the Owner/GM if they were ever going to bring back the Cuban as it was really good. ?He mumbled something under his breathe and I asked him to repeat himself and he replied with " If you ever interrupt me again, it will be your last time" Oh that's very pleasant of him to tell a customer/guest. I paid the DB no attention as you are here for me not the other way around! When the others in my party went to pay, the Owner/GM made a comment to our server to "Make sure you get your big 2 dollar tip from those guys". I have never claimed to be a math wiz but $2 on $8 is pretty decent tip for someone who just had a slice of pizza and a Coca-Cola. I didn't make you take this job, that was your choice! This place also is in DIRE need of a good cleaning as the blinds have more coating on them than the wings! I want say I'm huge fan of this place and I love it but you're either team Westside or not. Reasons to come here 1. Pizza isn't terrible and it's different. 2. Dog friendly. 3. It's close to your house 4. Great beer list. This isn't some hot new spot to try on a Friday night as a date or way to impress your east sided friends that never leave Decatur. This is a neighborhood spot you go to and want to support because it's in your backyard and you're glad it's there. They're food doesn't suck and they have a dog friendly patio and when that's close to your house its a win. Long story short the staff is quirky and sometimes rude as hell or the nicest people you'll ever meet. The guy manager or owner or something works his tail off and the women staff can't wait to get your order wrong and give you looks like you should leave and die. Not to mean that they're not working hard too but they hate you and can't wait for you to leave. So charming! I come here all the time and recommend it. Went back tonight after a long absence with my lady, and it was just like I remember. The new name hasn't effected anything, same menu, same small, cozy place, but they now have a few better beers on draft as well as a rotating stock of bottled examples. All very good choices. My lady ordered the flat iron steak salad which came out huge, I grabbed a piece of meat and wow, it was excellent. The lettuce was also fresh, crisp, very good, and my pizza was as good as it has been in the past. Very good meal at an average price, worth the stop by once in a while. read more

This is a fun little neighborhood bar/restaurant for west-siders. I especially love it during football season. If you are first in...you get your game on the big wall TV. But don't fret if you are not first in...there are plenty of other TVs and the bartender is great about putting your game on a TV you can see. There seem to be quite a few regulars who hang out at the bar, but I have never felt excluded if I happen to stop in by myself. It's been easy to strike up a conversation and John, the bartender is always nice and very attentive. Definitely try the fried zucchini. Delish. read more

I'm seeking a lot f bad reviews, and I don't get it!! I first tried westside a couple years ago on the recommendation of a neighbor. The pizzas are good. They rival fellinis and antico! The pasta dishes are also really yummy as are the salads. They have specials throughout the week and trivia two nights a week. Beer selection is always good. The service can be a little bad sometimes, but the food is good enough to make up for it! read more

They've gotten better over the years! Usually it's the other way around with most restaurants. When we first moved to this area, we tried them a few times and weren't thrilled. But now it's on our weekly takeout list. LOVE love their lemon pepper wings. They know how to do them right--crispy, not greasy, good quality seasoning mix and not overly saturated. I get these every time. My spouse and I also love their pizza. I don't know what they're doing differently nowadays, but it's very tasty-- truly thin crust (not just something they advertise on), good high quality toppings, tasty sauce and you can actually taste the sauce unlike some pizza places where you wonder if they left the sauce out. I wasn't thrilled with their Caesar salad dressing, but maybe it was just a fluke. The breadsticks topped with toppings are also really good. Desserts are nothing special, but they do have some. We've never dined in here. I don't know that it's the type of place known for friendly service and atmosphere...but the food is good for delivery or carry-out purposes. read more

Great laid back place.. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is great! They serve thin crust pizza. We had the Greek which had tzatziki sauce. The fire sticks had a kick to them. Spicy mozzarella sticks with a slow burn. The wings were fall off the bone moist. Try the hot Teriyaki sauce on them. The beer selection wasn't big but what they had was perfect for us. Never do I post reviews but this visit certainly warranted this! We have ordered pizza from here several times to go. Never really friendly but we like the pizza so continued to get it here. Well, never again! We had family in town the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Decided to dine in this time. That will be the last time we ever go back or order there. The girl working the bar was the rudest I have ever encountered anywhere. Was appalled we would interrupt her conversation, with most likely her boyfriend, to see about getting the beers we ordered over 20 minutes before. The glares and throwing her hands up, etc was enough for me to tell our nice waitress that we would be glad to leave. She was very apologetic, telling us she should not be acting like that after just 2 months on the job. Think she was embarrassed. The ladies toilet was not working, so out comes the cook to unplug it! Thinking to myself, now its really time to leave, but the icing on the cake was the health department inspection reports. They happened to be all pinned in a stack on the bulletin board next to the bathroom. The ranged from a 53 to mid 70s to low 80s month after month. Not sure how they stayed open with a 53! After reading them, AND the horrible attitude by someone WORKING, who obviously didn't care about anyone but talking to a couple at the bar, we will NEVER go back! We came here because we met the owner playing in our cornhole league. Showed up at 6pm on a Friday, it wasn't very busy when we got there, but server wasn't super friendly regardless. As it got busier, I never got my empty drink refilled and we then decided to make our pizza to go. I asked for a to go drink 10 min before we got our bill and we sat and waited. After she then brought our food, brought multiple drinks and food to other tables, I asked for my to go drink again, she then proceeded to tell me with an attitude that I'll have to wait, she had other orders more important. We had tipped her 20% prior to this and contemplated changing it, but didn't. The wings are large and served crispy like I like them and there are a lot of flavors. Hot sandwiches are good and the fries rock. Those ugly reviews blow my mind!
