I finally had the opportunity to drop in for an early dinner/late lunch. I know owners and they recommended I check it out. I love a good burger, and I kept saying to myself as I enjoyed the LOL burger "this tastes homemade." From start to finish, the experience was pleasant. Parking was easy in the free lot. It can get busy with all of the other businesses attached and there's a cigar lounge just next door. I was greeted warmly as soon as I entered by the staff here and the young lady taking my order and delivering the food was so kind and accommodating. They even have Kimchi on the menu which was a major surprise. There really are options on the menu at LOL Burger to suit any palate and the burger options are pretty extensive. I dined in. It wasn't too crowded but I'm glad I came when I did because it got crowded really quickly. My food was delivered hot like I prefer. The wings were good size (not teeny tiny), crispy, and substantial. They do not have fountain drinks so please be aware drinks are available but are purchased as bottle drinks or canned drinks from a fridge. I understand they are expanding soon to other areas so I encourage all to try their offerings. Found this place after a search for best burgers and thought we would give it try. Not expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. It exceeded our expectations! Sweet potato fries were hot, thick, and crispy with a soft delicious interior. Real flavor of sweet potato. Regular fries were just as good. You have to get them with the fry dust...delicious. We got some wings as well and they were big and meaty. The BBQ and lemon pepper were great. Probably one of the best lemon pepper we've had. For the star attraction, the burger was really excellent. We both got the LOL burger and the flavors were spot on. Really delicious. This will definitely be on the food rotation from now on! One ding is that they need to clear up the bathrooms and back area. Way too messy. We did a long drive from the Aquarium to LOL Burger Bar for a lunch when some family came into town. It was worth the drive, the inside of the store is very unassuming but the food is delicious! I am always on the hunt for an amazing turkey burger. After doing a little research I stumbled upon this spot. I opted to place an online order prior to heading over. This restaurant is located in a small plaza. There is a small parking lot. There was no issue with parking during my visit. However, there was only one other customer in the building when I arrived. When I walked in the only staff working greeted me and asked if I ordered a turkey burger and sweet potato fries. I was like I did- how did you know that? He said it was the only to go order he had and just assumed I was picking up. He went to the back and finished making my fries . I think I waited about 3-5 minutes The turkey burger had an amazing taste. If I have to offer a critique it would be that it was slightly salty. However. I don't eat a ton of salt so my taste buds may be a little off. I also enjoyed the fries. I will for certain be back. A little info on the business: First the name. It is indeed paying homage to the emoji. However, it is also an acronym for live out loud. The owner wanted her employees to constantly remember to live out loud! The parking lot was kinda full but the restaurant was relatively empty. As soon as we got to (read: started taking too long at) the counter though, more and more people started to show up. On Easter I put in for a pickup order for $85.50 with a tip for $17.18 for a total of $102.68. It processed in the system as if they were open, so we went to pick it up. We discovered they were closed. I called the next day when they opened and talked to a man on the phone who told me that the owner would have to go in and return it in the system. Shortly he called me back and indicated they had refunded the order for $85.50. I immediately corrected the man and told him the total. He said no problem and that the $17.18 tip would be returned in a separate transaction. I have yet to receive the refund. I must admit I am a little annoyed that I have to chase down my money. Hopefully this will get the refund processed and I can proceed to try the food at this establishment. I went for the new SpongeBob special. The wait didn't take long. The burger was about 18 dollars with fries and though it was messy tasted good. I wish the meal gave me more kelp fries and krabby patty vibes. Not even a special sauce or anything besides the happy meal SpongeBob box. I see why they call it lol because the food they served me has to be a joke, i had a very unsatisfactory experience here and wish 0 stars was an option. My friend ordered lunch for us here via Doordash. We were told on the app that it would take about 15-25 minutes for our order to be ready for pickup. We arrived at the restaurant after the recommended time and our food was not ready. Ok cool that wasn't a problem as they did have a sign explaining how everything was made fresh to order. So we ended up waiting an additional 15-20 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered the 10 piece with half lemon pepper/hot honey. Unfortunately i didn't look at my order prior to Lea the restaurant as the counter staff bagged the plate up and i didn't think to check prior to leaving. So imagine my surprise when i opened my bag and pull out A plate full of wings burnt and charred to a crisp. I was thinking maybe they are smoked style wings or something idk but I'll try them just to see because it's no was i was actually served wings this black that was known i wouldn't be able to consume. Tried them and they were as disgusting as they look all i could taste is burnt even with all the season they tied to throw on top of it ad if it would help. So i went back to the restaurant to make them aware of this concern. Honestly i would have loved to have just gotten my money back at this point but because it was paid through 3rd party that was another issue. So i was told that the order could be remade and wings only take 12 minutes to cook. So i wanted for the remake (2nd batch) which took about 15-20 minutes to be completed. I did see this order prior to leaving the restaurant and they were lighter in appearance and at least recognizable as wings however once again when i arrived to my destination and actually tried the wings they were still not appetizing at all there was still burnt ends of the wings and this batch had virtually no lemon pepper flavor on it. (SN: My friend provided a possible explanation as to the burnt wings which was that they were cooked while still frozen causing the outside to burn prior to the inside being cooked), which makes sense to me. I didn't bother going back to the establishment a second time as i was beyond annoyed at this point and had no desire for anything else that would possibly come out of this kitchen. We were greeted by the owner (!!) and she gave us the full run down on the menu. She was understanding of my friends restrictions, gave recommendations, the works. As mentioned, there is a self-service kiosk, it wasn't super crowded so we spent like 5 minutes on that bad-boy, but if there had been people behind us they might've been moody lol. Food was freshly prepared, both sets of fries (two different types) were hot and the burgers were on point with an allstar cast of ingredients. One item to note, no substitutions, so if you don't like their gourmetness then you're going to be constructing your own burger which is an option. The restaurant has limited seating (couple 2 tops, 4-top, and bar seating), but it was comfortable and thank goodness it was well air conditioned/heated. One of my besties wanted to try this place for our annual birthday gathering. Having checked reviews and saw that it was a small space we decided to get there at noon. Once we went inside, I also remembered seeing this place on Burgers with Buck (Fox5 Atlanta). We were greeted warmly by Mela who asked if this was our 1st visit to which we replied yes. The explained the ordering process to us and allow us time to decide. My bestie order the LOL Turkey Burger with sweet potato fries and I ordered the OG Burger with cajun fries. We received our food about 15 minutes later as it was cooked to order. When Mela brought our food out, there was steam still coming from the burgers and fries so I am most positive that it was indeed cooked to order. The fries were hot, fresh, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and well seasoned. And my burger - OMG!!!! The burger was cooked to perfection with thick cut bacon (no skinny bacon over here). I ate it all and totally forgot to take pics (LOL). We were the only customers dining in for quite sometime. Mela would occasionally come in to check on us but never hovered which I appreciated. The only negative is that they are cashless and pass the credit card processing fee on to the customer. I was craving a really good burger and decided to give LOL Burger Bar a shot and I am SO GLAD I did. The LOL burger was so good I stopped halfway through to call and tell them. The burger patty was thick, juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The grilled peppers and spicy mayo leveled it up, and the bun was the perfect thickness (in my opinion) and has a slightly sweet flavor that tied everything together. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting, the staff was friendly and quick, and there's a decent amount of parking options right outside their door. I decided to visit LOL Burger Bar and I was welcomed with with smiles given the instructions on how to place my order. The process was simple and it gave me an opportunity to just enjoy the restaurant. Huge tv being projected on the wall, nice music playing, the ambience was amazing. On to the burger! LOL Burger Bar gives you the option of making any burger with Turkey, Beef and Impossible. When I say the OMG burger is literally OMG! Soft bun, juicy Turkey, the bacon and pineapple super yummy. I opted for the Cajun fries that caught me off guard with the spice. Over all LOL offers a refreshing take on one of our favorite pastimes, a nice juicy burger with fries! Ordered the KISS burger, Cajun fries, and a couple shakes. Unfortunately, the cashier dropped one of the shakes on the ground, so I was only able to enjoy one of them. Burger was decent... a little overpriced for what you get IMO. Cajun fries tasted phenomenal and the shake was incredible as well. Wait time wasn't great, and the burger came out lukewarm. They refunded me for the shake they dropped because that was their last shake of the day. Might give them a second chance and try a different burger. read more

Went in search of a good burger for a quick lunch. Burger was amazing - both son and I did the byob custom burgers. Definitely one of the better craft burgers I've had in a while. Seemed like a hand-shaped patty which was nice. Good flavor, cooked well. We both left very satisfied. Also got a shake - and they don't disappoint. Ice cream sandwich was on top of the shake - definitely a two person shake. Very good shake, nothing special about it, but very elaborate presentation, and filling. Only complaint I had was it wasnt quick at all - took probably 30+ minutes for the food, but we weren't in a hurry on a lazy Saturday. Ambiance was fine - basically in a strip mall so don't expect much. Could use a couple more tables inside. We left completely stuffed. I'll start with the positive. The burger was quite tasty, and very fresh. Now, for the rest of the story. I am new to the area, so I don't know if this is a "one off", or the hopeful start of a chain, or what?? I found them on Yelp as I was in the area, stuck in traffic, and needed to find something to eat..I was in the mood for a good burger. I arrived, to see a young woman sitting out I felt front, vaping and on a personal FaceTime. No biggee, I thought she was waiting for an order. I entered the restaurant...I have to say everything (other than the service) in this place, struck as very professionally put together. Professionally designed decor, looping, professionally produced video of how their selections are assembled, etc. there were anciallary areas where the paint/Sheetrock was incomplete, so I'm made an assumption that they had not been there long, and/or just had opened up. There was a young man, sitting at a high table near the front counter, on a personal phone call. I believe he had an LOL logo's shirt on, so I assumed he was working...no one was behind the counter. -after a minute or so, the young man finished up his cell conversation, and asked if he could help me. He proceeded to listen to what I had to order, then said, ok, just use they display there and enter your order and pay...I'll get it started. He was very accommodating. I tried to enter my order using the display, but someone needed to log me in first, so I want able to place my order. -maybe 5-7 minutes had passed, and the then the young lady from out front comes in and asks if she can help me?? She told me to please not try to log into the display, as she needs to do that for me?? -then she asked me to order from the menu, (I had asked for a basic cheeseburger, and that is the order the first young man had taken back to the kitchen with him.) as the burger selections were chef designed, and they recommended not changing anything. So, about 15 minute late or so have now passed...and I'm not even sure if I have an order going back in the kitchen....the young lady did go back, and get the 2 young guys started on my order (I think)? -so, after a few minutes, the young lady comes out from the back, tells me my order will be filled as quickly as possible, and goes out in front again, to vape, and get back on FaceTime..... Well, I proceeded to wait another 15-20 minutes. No contact from the young lady out front, no contact from the two young men in the kitchen (loudly) tucking it up about their previous evenings activities....finally, my wife (who has been waiting in the car this whole time l, gets out of the car, with our dog, and comes looking for me, as she is worried something has happened to me. This causes the young lady out in front, to come back inside, go back in the kitchen, where she stays for about 5 minutes...then peels her head around the corner and tells me that "they're just packaging up my fries".... All in all, I was there over 35 minutes... Unbelievable...really! I give the 3 star rating, as, the burger was very good, (fries were way over fried) and the concept seems very promising (ie-I have high hopes for the concept) The service....was....abysmal....at best. read more

Food- Burger is delicious, juicy, tasty. Ambiance - inside is very small, but clean and you can tell was revamped. However, it's not a place I feel comfortable dining. I have been here 3 times (take out) and each time the staff is outside loitering in the very front with others, smoking weed. Or also with others hanging out in theirs cars smoking. It's then super awkward to then have one of them walk in after you arrive at the counter and realize one of them is staff. I don't feel unsafe, but I don't feel comfortable either. It's just weird and not professional at all, for the caliber of food they aim to serve and the area. Service - staff has always been friendly. Service has always been quick.
