As a business owner/investor I'm very reluctant to leave bad reviews. I believe a slight inconvenience or not so good experience may not fully represent the company's attributes and services but after my recent experience @ Westside Pizza I felt obligated to myself to inform others. I've been in the Atlanta area for almost 15 years and have eaten at 100's of restaurants and have frequented just as many more business and have never felt so embarrassed and belittled in my entire life. I drive a F250 v10 long bed truck and could barely fit into the tiny spaces in the parking lot so I double park to keep from blocking other customer cars.  As I sit down John Miller the General Manager proceeds to yell at me from behind the bar and across the restaurant to move my truck. At first I didnt even know why he was yelling at me, then I tried to explain that my truck would block other people. He begain to get more force full with me and said "he didnt care and go move my truck now!!" Everybody was staring at me in the restaurant. I've never been embarrassed and belittle by a business in front of a full room of people before!!! It took almost 45 minutes for my nerves to calm I was so traumatized! My experience was so awfull I'm freely dedicating part of my life to spread my story about Westside Pizza!!! read more

Never do I post reviews but this visit certainly warranted this! We have ordered pizza from here several times to go. Never really friendly but we like the pizza so continued to get it here. Well, never again! We had family in town the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Decided to dine in this time. That will be the last time we ever go back or order there. The girl working the bar was the rudest I have ever encountered anywhere. Was appalled we would interrupt her conversation, with most likely her boyfriend, to see about getting the beers we ordered over 20 minutes before. The glares and throwing her hands up, etc was enough for me to tell our nice waitress that we would be glad to leave. She was very apologetic, telling us she should not be acting like that after just 2 months on the job. Think she was embarrassed. The ladies toilet was not working, so out comes the cook to unplug it! Thinking to myself, now its really time to leave, but the icing on the cake was the health department inspection reports. They happened to be all pinned in a stack on the bulletin board next to the bathroom. The ranged from a 53 to mid 70s to low 80s month after month. Not sure how they stayed open with a 53! After reading them, AND the horrible attitude by someone WORKING, who obviously didn't care about anyone but talking to a couple at the bar, we will NEVER go back! Advise anyone who does to maybe check out the current report before ordering any food! read more

We came here because we met the owner playing in our cornhole league. Showed up at 6pm on a Friday, it wasn't very busy when we got there, but server wasn't super friendly regardless. As it got busier, I never got my empty drink refilled and we then decided to make our pizza to go. I asked for a to go drink 10 min before we got our bill and we sat and waited. After she then brought our food, brought multiple drinks and food to other tables, I asked for my to go drink again, she then proceeded to tell me with an attitude that I'll have to wait, she had other orders more important. We had tipped her 20% prior to this and contemplated changing it, but didn't. After her rude comment, My husband told her that her comment was uncalled for and she then told us she was busy and we were the last of her priorities. We will not be returning. read more

This was my second time going to Westside Pizza and the first experience wasn't bad but it wasn't great either; however, it didn't warrant me going on yelp to write a review. I went tonight to meet some friends for dinner and our server Mischa was so rude! We asked for separate checks and you would have thought we asked her to do open heart surgery. She got so snappy and just had a terrible vibe that made our table uncomfortable. I was highly disappointed in my experience and left angry because of how rude she was and how long it took her to finally get our check. I have been here multiple times over the three years that I have lived nearby. Our group comes here at least once a month after our neighborhood association meetings and have never had a bad experience other than service is a little slow sometimes because they only have one person at the bar and one other server. They always have a very nice selection of on-tap beers, the pizza is very good, and I would highly recommend the blackeded chicken ceasar salad. read more

Pizza, as far as taste goes, was decent. I was expecting better simply because there are some great reviews, but there was honestly nothing wrong with it either. It was definitely good but it's just not something I'd be excited to go eat again... simply went here because of it was convenient. The reasons I wouldn't go back have nothing to do with how it taste... I came in and asked for a menu that I could take with me and then left. I called them on the phone 30 minutes later and placed a to-go order for a pizza. When I came to pick it up 25 minutes later, I was told the price was $1.50 higher than I expected. I still had the menu in my pocket so I pulled it out and confirmed the lower price with the person working at the counter. They said that those are old menus and they haven't had a chance to print out new ones. Even though they admitted that this was their fault, they did not offer me the pizza at the listed price. They weren't rude about it, but I still think they should have sold me the pizza at the advertised price. I was in somewhat of a hurry and wasn't really in the mood to sit there and argue about it, so I just paid and left, figuring that I just won't come back again if that's how they're going to be, and if there's one thing that bothers me more than most about any type of shopping, it's a bait-and-switch. I'm not saying I wouldn't have eaten there over this $1.50 difference in the pizza, but I think I would have ordered a different customized pizza, but did the math and chose one of their pre-selected ingredients pizzas because of the price. Once I got back home with the pizza, I noticed it seemed quite small for an 18" pizza, as I usually get an 18" pizza at another place that I frequent and this pizza looked nothing like that size. Now, some may think this is very petty, and I've actually never once done this in my life, but after feeling like I had been nickel and dimed on the price, I decided to measure the diameter of the pizza. It was only 15.5"!! and the diameter of a circle makes a much larger difference in the total area than something that is straight like a sandwich, e.g. a 9" sub sandwich would be 90% of a 10" sub sandwich, but a 9" pizza would only be 81% of a 10" pizza. Well a 15.5" pizza is only 74.1% of an 18" pizza! So I was paid more than expected and was missing a quarter of my pizza! read more

Great food. Friendly staff and reasonable prices!! I havent had anything on the menu thus far that I don't like. My favorites include Pepperoni Breadsticks, Chicken Philly, and Spinach Dip. I visit Westside at least once a week!! I enjoy going to Trivia on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well!! read more

Not the most wonderful location or decor BUT most wonderful food. I vote it "Mom's best italian food". A large menu of delicious choices for such a small place. John, the bartender, can make you anything you can dream up to drink. Also great beer selection. Ryan, the owner will on occasion cook up something special for you to try. This is a local spot for the neighborhood and everyone is warmly welcomed. All the wait staff are friendly. I can't remember ever being disappointed with what I ordered. Pizzas are great. Pasta dishes are wonderful. Salads are fresh. The sandwiches are good too. When you are single, you eat out a lot.....Westside is my 1st choice. Did I mention reasonable prices as well? I have been to Westside multiple times. The food is great. Better than I would have expected, especially from the way it looks on the outside. However the service is just ok. The man behind the bar (which I have heard is the owner) is very rude. He never greets you, he processes to-go orders and never says a word to the customers (I also purchase to-go orders occasionally). He always seems to be in a bad mood and regardless of what he may be going through he should not be rude to his paying and loyal customers. I think I will stop ordering from here solely due to the rude guy. read more

We've been to Westside a few times since we moved into the area and it's usually pretty decent. Food is good, especially the bread sticks and the service has always been great as well. However, the last time we went in, we felt like our server was completely uninterested in us. We had gone out that night with the intentions of having dinner and getting a few drinks. We ordered an app and each got a beer to start and an entree. As we ate and our drinks got low, we were never asked if we wanted another round even though the place was fairly empty (except for the somewhat busy bar) and our server was near us filling salt shakers. Before we could even ask her for another round, she dropped off our check. She wasn't rude by any means, it just seemed like she wanted us out of there. I'm guessing it was the end of her shift and she didn't want to wait around for us to have a second drink and collect her tip. I considered moving to the bar but decided it would just be cheaper to go home and have that second beer. read more

This review does not even deserve the one star that it was given. First and foremost, my fiance and i went to this restaurant for the second time because the first time, everything went well. The food was mediocre. Nothing to boast or take pictures of. Wings and pizza, around 60 bucks. Pretty expensive for a place with only one small bathroom and cheap decorations. My wife and I went to this place and ordered pizza and wings. WE NEVER PLACE TIPS ON OUR CARD, because we have been victims of restaurants taking more than what the ticket was for. The waitress, if you can call her that because she didn't do much, took our payment for 52.44 and brought our card back. We had some cash on us, (was going to provide her with a small tip just to be courteous) after we put our coats on and gathered our belongings. The waiter looks at the ticket and asks us if there was a problem with our food. We say no. She then says why am i not getting a tip?, then continues to say I make no money working here and yells DO NOT GO OUT TO EAT UNLESS YOU HAVE A TIP. She was very rude, very unpleasant, and for this to be such a small business, they don't have the room to be disrespectful to any customer, Especially since they only had four customers in the entire restaurant. We walked out of the place, trying not to escalate the situation to another level because we were about to snap. THE COOK COMES OUTSIDE, AND STARTS YELLING PROFANITIES.
