The 2 stars were for the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the place. We ordered Salads Pastas Pizzas Pizzas - grand cheese , grand west side and grand death by pizza. Loaded with cheese and toppings, but lacked in flavor snd sauce. The pizza was dry and cooled off fast. Because there was no sauce . The cheese and toppings cooled off quick and left us eating cold pizza after the first slice. The salad was plain and the dressings are generic store bought dressings. Kind of sour and tangy. Pizza joints should make their own sauce or invest in better ones. The pene marinara was very cheesy but lacked flavor. Needed salt or something. The chicken Alfredo was actually pretty tasty. And very cheesy. Was the best thing we ordered. But I didn't come for pasta. I came for pizza. Kuddos to the staff for being so accommodating (large group) and friendly .... hoping they make some changes to the pizza

We have eaten here twice. The first time, we dined in. Today, we did delivery. The people who work there are super nice and helpful. Ordering online is really easy. We ordered pizza, bread sticks and calories. All of it was delicious. Not loaded down with sauce. Just enough to complement the delicious and fresh toppings. Amazingly good food for such a reasonable price. I highly recommend this place. I am sure we will be ordering again and again.

So this is the new pizza place that took over Nate's New York Pizza.... well it's definitely cheaper. What it has going for it: - decent size menu - pricing on par with similar establishments - pizza by the slice - they deliver (not through Uber Eats or Doordash either) - plenty of parking - owner was pleasant What it has going against it: - quality of pizza is on par with Domino's (for some that is a good thing) So this place is what it is. It's a small local franchise that doesn't pretend it is "New York" pizza like the previous establishment did. I had the lunch special, which was 2 slices & a fountain soda...$5 (includes the tax)...not a bad deal nowadays. This place is very similar to Dominos. They are a little better in my book since they serve by the slice and they aren't a huge national franchise...yet. The pizza itself is very similar to Domino's Brooklyn style pizza and also similar to Costco's pizza (although Costco uses more cheese I feel). They use dummy proof conveyer ovens so the quality is consistent, but the quality isn't the same as you usually get by those traditional big pizza ovens. If you were use to Nate's and come here, get ready for some sticker shock.... pricing is way better than what the previous establishment was charging for similar item. Owner seems like a very nice guy who is really engaged with this business. Would I come here again..... yup

Combo pizza for the win! Delicious ranch!

Ciccarelli's -- Coeur d'Alene…read more As someone who has traveled extensively -- including throughout Italy, one of my favorite places on earth -- I do not say this lightly: Ciccarelli's serves some of the finest pizza I have ever eaten. And I mean anywhere. Italy included. There is something almost impossible to describe about truly exceptional pizza. At a certain level, words begin to fail because great pizza is not analyzed... it's experienced. It's the kind of food that causes conversations to stop mid-sentence because everyone at the table suddenly realizes something special is happening. That's Ciccarelli's. I've lived in Coeur d'Alene barely three weeks and my wife and I have already been there three times. At this point, resistance appears futile. Every pizza we've tried has been a masterpiece. Not "really good." Not "our favorite in town." Masterpiece. The crust alone deserves poetry -- blistered, wood-fired perfection with that delicate balance of crispness, chew, char, and tenderness that only happens when people truly understand dough. Every ingredient tastes intentional. Nothing feels thrown together. Every bite -- from the tip of the slice to the outer crust -- is a full gastronomic experience. Favorites so far: THAT'S AMORE -- red sauce, pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onion, black olives & mozzarella. THE SPICY ITALIAN -- spicy red sauce, pesto, Italian sausage, red onions, fresh mozzarella, parmesan & basil. Ridiculously good. THE STELLA -- olive oil base, goat cheese, prosciutto, apricot preserves & honey drizzle. Sweet, savory, luxurious, and somehow perfectly balanced. And the Pizza Margherita... Listen carefully: A Margherita pizza is the ultimate truth serum for a pizza restaurant. You cannot hide behind toppings. It exposes everything -- crust, sauce, cheese, balance, restraint, technique. Ciccarelli's passes that test with flying colors. Their Margherita has become my weekly sustenance pizza. And then... The desserts. Good grief. Most restaurants treat dessert like an afterthought. Ciccarelli's treats it like a sacred continuation of the meal. I am slowly working my way through their dessert offerings, but I keep getting derailed by the BLACK BOTTOM COCONUT CREAM PIE. I have been eating coconut cream pie for over seventy years. Seventy. I have NEVER had anything like this pie. The rich saturation of flavor... the generous texture of real coconut... the black bottom... whatever culinary sorcery is occurring back there needs to be protected by national treaty. It is so good that you could honestly justify visiting Ciccarelli's solely for dessert. Also outstanding: * Piña Colada Cream Pie * Strawberry Shortcake Torte * Napoleon * Cannoli The restaurant itself is immaculate, intimate, warm, and beautifully designed. Seating is limited, however, and deservedly so. My advice? Get there early or go on a weekday if possible. They also offer lovely outdoor seating. And finally, the family behind it all. There is something unmistakable about a place built by people who genuinely love what they do, love each other, and love the experience they are creating for others. You can feel it the moment you walk in. That kind of thing cannot be faked. Ciccarelli's is not merely a restaurant. It's one of those rare places people discover and then quietly hope doesn't become too famous because they still want to get a table. An absolute gem in Coeur d'Alene.

So I've been back a few times now and , despite there being many drinks and combos to choose from, I keep ordering the Scotchy. I'm a big root beer person, but this root beer drink has butterscotch, vanilla and cream. It's so tasty. Thing is, the first few drinks are better because you can taste the butterscotch. But after that the butterscotch flavor goes away. It needs more butterscotch is my opinion. But the vanilla and cream flavors remain throughout. They also have really yummy cookies, which I do not order with the drink: too much sugar. But if you have a hankering for a cookie, they make an excellent big chocolate chip cookie; very worth while. So if you're visiting the food trucks on Horse Haven in Post Falls and looking for a sweet treat after your meal, this place will probably have something you really like.
