It's a good sandwich, but not awesome. Would I eat there again? Yes. But only if because I'm in the area. They said that the bread would be toasted, but really it was just warm, not toasted. The tuna was a little on the sweet side for me, and I'm just not a fan of sweet-savory food. For instance, I hate pineapple on pizza, despite liking pineapple by itself. I think their tuna has sweet pickles in it. I'd like to try another meat, because even after all my complaints, they managed to make it tasty enough. So, it's worth giving a shot. read more

6.4.25: I've been wanting to check out this sandwich spot and had a chance after having to drive in to CDA to pick up my new reading glasses. It was around lunch time and I prepared myself for this place to be busy and I'm glad I did. When I arrived, there was a long line of people waiting to order, almost all the tables inside were taken, and there were several people standing around waiting for their order. The ambience was definitely hustle and bustle and probably louder than usual. This didn't deter me as I got in line and prepared to put on my "patience" hat lol. While standing in line, I had plenty of time to look at the vast menu, which everything sounded great. However, I'm still not eating meat and I went with "The Vegg." It consisted of: fresh avocado, sunflower seeds, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, cucumbers and sprouts with your choice of cheese and dressings (taken from the menu description). I chose to have it on sourdough bread, with provolone cheese, and add cranberry sauce. I made my meal a combo and added a fountain drink and a side. As for my side, I went with Greek pasta salad. I saw a handful of dessert options that they make in-house and I couldn't take my eyes off this huge rice krispie treat. So I got that and a couple of big chocolate chip cookies. It took quite some time for the order to come out, which again I knew and didn't mind. People watching was interesting. My food was well worth the wait. The sandwich was sooo fresh, crisp, and very scrumptious. I got a half and it was huge. The bread also baked in-house was delicious and wasn't very sour. So if you like a lite sourdough then try this one. The veggies were plentiful, juicy, and crunchy and loved the cranberry sauce addition. I would get this sandwich over and over if the quality and taste is consistent every time. The Greek pasta salad was that of what you expect a traditional Greek pasta salad would have in it. It was a decent sized portion and had good seasoning. I'm looking forward to coming back for sure. Now let's talk about the rice krispie. It was so big, as big as my hand (see pic for reference lol). This rice krispie became an instant fav. It was soft and not overly sugary or saturated in butter. The best part I enjoyed was that they use whole mini marshmallows (see pic). The chocolate chip cookie was great with a good crisp outside and a soft but not undercooked inside. I'm looking forward to coming back to repeat this same exact meal--that's how much I enjoyed it. Despite it being lunch rush hour, every employee was working diligently and each one I encountered was smiling and nice. The food was actually good, but it wasn't what I wanted or asked for. There were seven types of bread on the menu. I wanted sourdough, but they were out. My husband and daughter visited this place after school one day, and raved about it, so we decided to check it out together today. It has now become my favorite local deli! I tried the EZ Breezy sandwich along with potato salad, and both were amazing. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients, as everything tasted fresh and homemade. I added a little salt to my potato salad, as a personal preference, but it was already delicious on its own. We also indulged in their chocolate chip cookies which were incredible, and took home temptation cupcakes to share later because they looked irresistible! I have an hour for lunch each day at work and I spent over half of my break WAITING for the half sandwich and cup of soup that I ordered. I didn't even have enough time left to eat my food! We've got sandwiches from the local deli a few times. Each time has gotten worse. The last time, 3 days ago, we ordered a couple sandwiches. I got the chicken salad. As you can see in the photos, there was maybe 1 tiny spoon full of chicken salad. It was smashed in the middle Of the bread. Didn't even reach the edges. So my sandwich was basically bread with onions pickles and jalapeños. We won't be going back. So many more better deli's that actually make a good deli sandwich. read more
