Really good pizza. Also, their garlic cheese bread is a LOT bigger than I expected. Personal size pizza was just about perfect for me, and I ended up taking most of the cheese bread home with me. The guys inside were friendly, and the place was clean. No loud TVs which I personally love. Prices are good. Honestly, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this place. read more

Pizza was fantastic as usual, especially the Caspian with a couple of little personal touches. My biggest complaint is the kid cleaning kept dragging the chairs over and over so loud we couldn't even have a conversation. It's happened several times in the past and I've heard other people talk about how obnoxious the metal chairs on the concrete floor can absolutely ruin dinner. It basically had the ambience of a medium security prison in the day room during family time. read more

We have been visiting MOD all over the country and typically have zero issues, but here they are extremely tight with the toppings. The gal literally had 1/2 a handful of cheese and I had to asked her twice for a bit more. It got even worse with the meats. The bad part are the looks from the mod employee when you try to get just an average pizza and not even anything extra. Very disappointing. read more

Walk in and was greeted right away. It Was a little loud hearing him asking for my order, great service and quick. This places was a bit dirty when looking around seeing stuff on the ground. First time in this place, and we very much loved the place. We were greeted quickly and the menu was explained. I like that you were able to have a beer as you waited, and they had a few good craft beers available. Especially a pineapple beer that I enjoyed. You want vegan? You get it here. Thick or thin crust. Add "vegan cheese". Add lots of veggies and top it with their delicious balsamic sauce. This pizza is fantastic! Now, a review for the business. It's always clean. You'll always find a young group behind the counter ready to serve and generally happy. This is the only Modd in CDA so expect a wait. Sometimes the wait is excessive. Once you order, you'll wait even longer for your pizza. They have one brick oven for dozens of customers. You'll be lucky if you order to-go and walk out in 20 minutes. You may wait as long as 45 minutes frequently. The pizza crust on the bottom is almost always charred in spots and over cooked but still quite delicious. This is one of our favorite meals so the slow service isn't enough to deter us for the most part. But sometimes we skip it simply because we don't want to stand around getting in the way. Buy yah...the pizza is so yummy. read more

I love pizza and I love it even more when its made fast and fresh. If you are out and about or traveling and get a craving for pizza, MOD is where you need to be. I can see how tourists and travelers will love this place. You have a nice place to sit and rest while your pizza is being baked, but youre not waiting too long like you would at Pizza Hut or other sit down pizza parlors. Out shopping and need a break? Stop in and have a fresh pizza made while you give your feet a break. Whats different about MOD? Ever been to Subway? Well thats what MOD is like except its pizza. You choose your crust, size, sauce and toppings then watch them build your pizza. Whats even better is no matter the toppings, the price stays the same for whatever size you choose. They can build salads as well. Is it the best pizza Ive ever eaten? No, but its pretty good; especially if you favor thin crusts. The double crust pizza wasnt anything like deep dish which is what I was hoping for but that didnt bother me too much. It was thick enough that it sated my pizza craving. I will be sure to ask for extra cheese next time as she skimped on that. My error for not asking. Otherwise, a very tasty pizza with fresh ingredients. Ive attached pics of the menu. Drink selection is great. You have all your typical fountain drinks. They have beer on tap as well as a few bottled drinks at the counter. I enjoyed the mango-orange fountain drink myself. For dessert, I grabbed a chocolate treat from the counter (similar to a Hostess Ding Dong). Yummy! The facility is relatively new or looks new to me. I found nothing out of order or inconvenient. Theres ample parking with handicap access. I think the best part of MOD is you can tske your family or group and there's no arguing over which type of pizza to get. Everyone can get their own personalized pizza within a reasonable time and thats why I love it. read more

Pretty good fast casual pizza joint. What it has going for it: - ingredients look fresh - open kitchen concept (see your pizza being made) - pricing is on par with similar type establishments - simply non-complicated menu - customer area is clean - food was out in less than 10 minutes What it has going against it: - this is very thin crust pizza - specialty teas where a little on the sweet side So have driven by this place enough times but finally decided to give it a try. Seem like if would be a great place to get a light lunch. Pretty much the menu is pizza or salad,pretty smart since both use the same toppings. Food is served quickly but they missed a topping, no big deal. Had the "Caspian" which is a thin crust pizza with bbq sauce, mozzarella, chicken, gorgonzola and red onion (which I substituted with bacon). Pizza was decent if you like a thin crust pizza (which I am not a huge fan of). Overall the place seems put together good. Has the right contemporary decor and design, a simple menu and a decent price point. I can see myself coming here again. read more

Things have been going down hill here lately. Seems to be constant staff turnover, never see the same people when we come. They are taking phone/online orders and you stand and wait no less than 15-30 minutes. We love it and the pizzas are usually good, (can't seem to get the concept of "lightly baked" down) just so tired of wait. Will is the only saving grace it has. Definitely headed the wrong direction. read more

My wife has been telling me about Mod for 2 years. She first went to Mod in Eugene and told me it was fantastic! I got to go today in CDA and loved it! I love Mod Pizza for multiple reasons. Every pizza is fired in a pizza oven. The crust is perfect and made to order. As a family of four we all like different toppings. Garbage. This is not pizza. Its toppings on a premade pita shell. If you truly enjoy pizza you will be disappointed. It is basically the subway of pizzas. The worst part is MOD likes to fancy themselves supporting the working man. When in reality they are owned by the people who sold out to starbucks and made millions. This is not a mom and pop location like they would have you believe. Go to Bullmans, pepe caldos or fire. Keep it local. read more

After being treated bad by another business today when trying to put in a holiday lunch order for my employees, I left that establishment choosing not to give them my business and went over to MOD Pizza, who I have always had a good experience with. When I walked in I asked them if it was going to be an inconvenience to order six pizzas on the spot, they said no and treated me wonderfully! I had told him the experience I had just had at the other restaurant and they couldn't believe how I was treated. MODs crew were courteous, fast, nice and suggested a package that actually gave me more for my money. I was very impressed and will continue to frequent this business thank you MOD crew for your friendly service. read more

This place is so great! I love piling on the goodness at no extra charge...don't pass up their roasted veggies like sweet red peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, and corn. So tasty! And I mean anywhere. Italy included. There is something almost impossible to describe about truly exceptional pizza. At a certain level, words begin to fail because great pizza is not analyzed... it's experienced. It's the kind of food that causes conversations to stop mid-sentence because everyone at the table suddenly realizes something special is happening. That's Ciccarelli's. I've lived in Coeur d'Alene barely three weeks and my wife and I have already been there three times. At this point, resistance appears futile. Every pizza we've tried has been a masterpiece. Not "really good." Not "our favorite in town." Masterpiece. The crust alone deserves poetry -- blistered, wood-fired perfection with that delicate balance of crispness, chew, char, and tenderness that only happens when people truly understand dough. Every ingredient tastes intentional. Nothing feels thrown together. Every bite -- from the tip of the slice to the outer crust -- is a full gastronomic experience. Favorites so far: THAT'S AMORE -- red sauce, pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onion, black olives & mozzarella. THE SPICY ITALIAN -- spicy red sauce, pesto, Italian sausage, red onions, fresh mozzarella, parmesan & basil. Ridiculously good. THE STELLA -- olive oil base, goat cheese, prosciutto, apricot preserves & honey drizzle. Sweet, savory, luxurious, and somehow perfectly balanced. And the Pizza Margherita... Listen carefully: A Margherita pizza is the ultimate truth serum for a pizza restaurant. You cannot hide behind toppings. It exposes everything -- crust, sauce, cheese, balance, restraint, technique. Ciccarelli's passes that test with flying colors. Their Margherita has become my weekly sustenance pizza. And then... The desserts. Good grief. Most restaurants treat dessert like an afterthought. Ciccarelli's treats it like a sacred continuation of the meal. I am slowly working my way through their dessert offerings, but I keep getting derailed by the BLACK BOTTOM COCONUT CREAM PIE. I have been eating coconut cream pie for over seventy years. Seventy. I have NEVER had anything like this pie. The rich saturation of flavor... the generous texture of real coconut... the black bottom... whatever culinary sorcery is occurring back there needs to be protected by national treaty. It is so good that you could honestly justify visiting Ciccarelli's solely for dessert. Also outstanding: * Piña Colada Cream Pie * Strawberry Shortcake Torte * Napoleon * Cannoli The restaurant itself is immaculate, intimate, warm, and beautifully designed. Seating is limited, however, and deservedly so. My advice? Get there early or go on a weekday if possible. They also offer lovely outdoor seating. And finally, the family behind it all. There is something unmistakable about a place built by people who genuinely love what they do, love each other, and love the experience they are creating for others. You can feel it the moment you walk in. That kind of thing cannot be faked. Ciccarelli's is not merely a restaurant. It's one of those rare places people discover and then quietly hope doesn't become too famous because they still want to get a table. An absolute gem in Coeur d'Alene.

Ample seating with a few table options outdoors, themed interior that feels like you're getting the Italian experience. It made for about two bites of food each. We got the pepperoni and pineapple pizza... The crust was quite charcoally on the bottom and made for a bitter flavor while the rest of the dough didn't seem fully cooked. We've been trying to go to some pizza places around town that we haven't been to, so we've had some really amazing pizza -- comparatively this just didn't hit the spot. We ordered their dessert special, a banana tiramisu, which was probably the best thing we had. I hate to say it, but the food was really just a 3/5. And on the pricier side. I can see from previous reviews that people have had really great dining experiences here and you can tell it's an authentic, family centered restaurant, maybe we need to give it another try!
