OK I've delayed with this review for quite a while. It's a little bit of a story. So I'm a builder/contractor. I bought my own equipment a long time ago and it's all about the age I am:). Anyway I'm in the backyard of this house I'm building which is very steep. I had the very unfortunate occurrence of getting a little too far down the hill so to speak:/ This machine is a Case 621B and weighs 27,000 pounds. I thought to myself oh no!! and tried to do a little more work but she kept slipping. I thought to myself she might actually tip over. I'm jumping off now! It actually took over one minute to slowly roll over on its side. After calling the most famous heavy haul towing companies of Colorado Springs. the best price was at least $2000 and maybe more. I should further say this backyard was inaccessible bye tow trucks. I explained to the gentleman on the phone what I thought might work. He did not discredit what I said which was amazing! The house was framed and had sheathing only on the outside. Our plan was to take sheathing off the back of the garage, park where the front garage doors would be someday , and run the cable through the hole down to my machine which was down slope about 100 feet away. All I can say is when JASON came out he was a MAN!!. He didn't complain!! He backed right up to my concrete, ran 2 cables through our OSB opening, and started winching with utmost precision. Slowly, a little at a time She came up. Then the moment of truth! Jason calculated and told me the bill would be like a measly $425. Crazy. I could go in to another positive one about equipment being moved by Westside but that's enough for now. Thank you JASON!! read more

Very responsive. Goes the extra mile to help me at 5 pm. Quality people. Will definitely use them again.

In the process of my truck being towed they destroyed my transmission, transfer case popped one of my tires and stole minor things from glove box and center console extremely unhappy with poor customer service as well read more

Over the weekend our car was towed by West Side due to the car being left on the side of the road because of the weather. Apparently I did not pull off far enough and admittedly I couldn't see well so that is on me. Due to the fact they are closed on Saturday and Sunday I was unable to get my car until this morning. The bill was $214.00. How sad that a family owned business feels comfortable charging such an outrageous amount when i would have gladly come in on Saturday to pick it up. Perhaps integrity is not so alive and well. read more

They suck, They charged me $93.00 to tow my car less than a mile. Not to mention there office was less than a mile from where I broke down. What a bunch of jerks. read more

I have used these guys before without a problem, but..... Today my wife drove her SUV off our driveway, which was slick with plowed snow. I called Westside, they had "their driver" call me. I assumed it actually was their driver, naturally. When the guy showed up, he was in another truck with another company's name on it. They got the car out, but then got it stuck again driving it up the driveway as a favor to my wife. They had to winch it out again. When they called me for payment, it was $365! I said I expected it to be around $150, the usual amount based on experience. The guy says, "Well, we had to get it unstuck twice." I noted that the second time was not our fault, and he replied that he had been there for 3 hours and probably missed out on other calls. His name was Juan, by the way, and his sidekick was Tom. Juan also told me on the phone that "I had to shovel half your driveway." That was a blatant lie, which my wife took him to task for, as SHE actually shovelled the driveway. The biggest problem here is that I called Westside to get them to come, not to get some third-tier company who ended up overcharging us. Oh, but the bonus? Instant karma: Their starter went out on their truck as they were leaving, and they had to call Westside to come tow them! Ha! read more

Car died. USAA roadside assist contracted through Westside. The driver, I believe his name was James, was the nicest person you could meet. Very engaging, friendly, and arrived 30 mins ahead of schedule. He took great care to avoid damaging our vehicle and even showed us some pictures of a cool Belaire he had recently towed. AAA mishap and insurance problems but west side towing was very patient and the driver waited a hour with me for AAA to get their act together. Unfortunately the wrong towing company was dispatched and before I could get it corrected the other company came and took the truck. I will make sure in the future to only use WESTSIDE TOWING. read more

I have used Westside towing on several occasions (for both a jump and a tow) and have always received prompt, friendly service. I appreciate being treated respectfully (which isn't always the case as a female customer in need of roadside assistance). I highly recommend Westside towing and will use them again if the need arises. read more

I used Westside today to tow my 1993 Jeep to get work done at a repair shop. I called in about 7:15 and stated that they could pick it up whenever as it was dead and just parked in the driveway. I received a call soon after from the driver that he was at my house and picking it up. At the time I thought great service. Little did I know that service came with a extra $20 fee for being before 8am. Would have been nice for the lady on the phone to let me know so I could have told her specifically to come later in the day. Obviously they were not busy and just wanted to make a quick buck. Tried calling to get a tow during the latest snow storm, for a person in Franktown, 8 miles away. They said we not going to take that tow, we have enough business right here today...called the 2nd company on my list...VERY professional...said he couldn't get to it today but would be out first thing in the morning...took the contact number and got the job...I guess Westside has just gotten too big to worry about the little tows now...I would advise calling someone else who can appreciate doing business the old fashioned way..customer service! read more
