I can't express how unprofessional and unawareness the front desk asian girl is here. I took my mom here 12pm wrote her name down on the login sheet as instructed, was told her name will be call when it's her turn. No other instruction were given, was asked if she had been here I said yes years ago. Wasn't given any paper to sign in from the start. MOST, If or all doctors office provide you the documents to fill and sign from the beginning. Mind you I wrote my moms name on the login sheet not mine. This girl assumed it's for me as I walked out to go do other errands. Meanwhile my mother sat there for almost 2 hours as everyone was being treated. This girl did not bother to call her name or check up on anything. Just SAT in front of the screen the whole time. How can you be so careless to your customers. I'm aware my mom could've asked but simply to put she just didn't know. I use to serve the owners here at the restaurant next door and never once made them wait 2 hours for food so why should this girl in the front be the face of them and treat people this way. She wasn't apologetic at all for making my mom wait. But instead gave me attitude, yes at this point I'm sooooo angered by how ANYONE could make someone wait working at a doctors office with no care or awareness of people. You have a voice you should've used it. Just ridiculous, had to ask for a refund and leave after 2hrs wait because she simply couldn't provide a simple instructions in the beginning or estimate or friendly word in how much longer my mother had to wait. It's just ridiculous how somebody like this can be in this field where the sick or help needed people are always vulnerable and needs help not another attitude prone place. JUST MAKE SURE if you ever have to desperately come here. you have to constantly ask or make sure you're next otherwise you'll be sitting there unacknowledged and forgotten for 2 hours. read more

I went in for an x-ray today....first thing that was off was that I had to pay $153 instead of what should be my CO-PAY of $50. They are about 40minutes behind....once I get back there I find out they have NO x-ray tech on staff due to COVID and I will have to go somewhere else. If I were you, I'd be embarrassed over the habitual lack of cleanliness. Rather than attacking the poster I would post how I have changed my cleaning procedures, changed cleaning companies or other steps to improve your healthcare facility. Your response shows your lack of care for the health of your patients by having fluid splatters all over the walls, overflowing trashcans, dirty floors and blood splatters in more than one room. Only one other patient was in the waiting room when I arrived, however I ended up being at the urgent care center for over 2 and a half hours. The nurse who saw me asked that I call the office once I confirm which antibiotics I am allergic to so he could adjust my prescription. He prescribed an antibiotic that I knew I wasn't allergic to, but that is not ideal for treating my condition. When I tried calling the next day during business hours, the phones were out of service the entire day. It's completely unacceptable to have no way of contacting the center with important follow up information so I can get the prescription that is most effective for treating my condition. I came in for a physical the day of calling and we were told on the phone that it would be 35$ and came in a few hours later to be told it was changed to 75$ for no reason at all. we asked since when it was changed and they said "since this morning". lol we said "bye" in front of everyone. pure bull no way were getting up charged $40 for no reason read more

We had a horrible experience here. I would definitely suggest going elsewhere. They pretty much refused to treat my daughter and told us to go home and drink fluids. I had a feeling we should get a second opinion being that they would only see us over the phone and would not physically treat her. Thank god I decided to go with my gut. She was very sick and had I not gotten her treated in time it could've been detrimental. It's very sad the way we were treated. We will never go there again..... read more

I have been a patient here for a few years and have been so pleased! Not so much today. I called to make an appointment because I wasn't feeling well. I was told (by Carol) I could not make an appointment and would be considered urgent care and to just walk in. This has never been the case in the years I've been going here. I asked her to please check what she was saying with my Doctor. She came back to the line, apologized saying she was new and that I was correct. She made my appointment for 2:00 pm and then called me back at 1:30 pm to say my 1:00 pm appointment needed to be rescheduled to 3:30 pm because she accidentally double booked me with another patient. I confirmed that the appointment was 2:00 pm and not 1:00 pm and she said yes. There is new front desk staff and they are not pleasant at all. They do not greet you when you come in, no hello or welcome and zero eye contact. Luckily I know the check in procedures so I signed in and sat down. Unfortunately, others did not and waited a few minutes before being addressed. Then I was given new patient forms and when I politely tried to explain I was not new, I was asked to still fill them out which I did with no problem. This delayed my appointment by 10 minutes plus the 10 waiting to be acknowledged that I was even there. I get to the back and am asked why I filled out new patient forms when I am not a new patient. I politely suggested they ask that question to their front desk. My visit with my Doctor was wonderful as usual. She is honestly the only reason I continue going there. As I was leaving, no one addressed me standing there waiting to check out. I had to ask if they needed anything else from me and they just stared blankly at me. Maybe I notice these things a little more because I've been in this industry for so long. I guess I tend to tolerate a bit more than other patients because I know the stress. read more

I arrived at 8:30 with symptoms of covid, and the door already had a closed sign on it. I went for a cut in my palm due to a kitchen mishap. I wasn't bleeding profusely but still was holding a washcloth to my hand. I realize it was only 1 hour before closing but there was only one NP and one doctor there. The doctor was pleasant enough but did not treat me properly and while she said she wasn't going to, wrapped my bandage way too tightly. I went to my primary care the next day, and they told me I should have had stitches. Also, she said she was going to prescribe antibiotics which she never did. I had to loosen my bandages several times because it was literally cutting off my circulation. My primary care NP recleaned the wound, put on butterfly bandages and rewrapped my hand so it was comfortable. The place frankly is rinky dink and I am used to Patient First, which this area does not have so it is a far cry from that. I will never visit here again. read more

Well, I had an appointment on a Monday only to be told she no longer worked there. I can only imagine why. I don't think the girls at the front desk are nice at all. Took a 4 year old with suspected tonsillitis. 4 main issues: Their webpage says: "Are you uninsured? No problem. Westview Urgent Care Medi Center offers a lower cost, more convenient alternative to the emergency room for non-life threatening illness and injuries". When I told them we had no insurance, I was told, the fee is $150 to be seen. I asked what the reduced rate was and was told there is NO reduced rate......totally misleading. 2. I asked the 2 desk women if there was a doctor on duty, they told me there were two there. When we were called, a man we presumed was the doctor started to examine 4 y.o. palpating her neck, looking in her mouth etc. He left and we waited in the room for 25 mins. A nurse came in and started asking the same questions. I said, the doctor had already seen her. The nurse said he isn't a doctor, he's the office manager. I asked where the doctors were, she said there were none. Just her and the office manager! An office manager had just examined our child pretending to be a doctor! 3. There is a sign saying they fill prescriptions. When nurse prescribed amoxycillin I asked if they would fill it, she said we don't fill prescriptions. I pointed to the sign that said they do on the wall and she said, sorry. 4. The place is not clean and there was no soap next to the sink. NEVER again! read more

This place has really gone down in the last year. They we're really good a year or two ago but now they are not good at all. The receptionist put you on hold for ever or take you name and number and they never get back to you. I had tests done the never got back to me called several times and was told a physician would call back with results and no one ever called come to find out the test were submitted wrong and needed to be done over I was not notified at all about this. They management is the root of the downfall they sit in the office to the right and watch do nothing I spoke to one of them one time she was very rude telling me misleading information this place is just a mess now DO NOT TRUST YOUR HEALTH HERE. read more

Should have an option of zero star. Nobody followed up on results of blood test which were pretty alarming. I was told by lab they would send the result to these guys and then they would contact me but no one has. Luckily I was able to create online account for lab and see alarming results that needed immediate follow up. Please don't run the urgent care if you can't care about patients. 1) Horrible customer service specifically by Nina (front desk) and Paul "the manager" ...disrespectful (talked down to me), rude (talked bad about me in front of me and raised voice), and lack of professionalism (refused to give me the upper management contact info so I can contact them). I will figure out myself other routes to report unprofessionalism. 2) The other front desk lady Morgan was very nice and used a calm voice when I was asking questions and paying bill ($40-hope it wasn't a waste of money since I did not get any tests done !). 3) Plus, I was told two different things by the front which was inaccurate. Front desk said I can get a flu swab there but I was told by the main nurse practitioner they no longer have flu swabs to check for the flu, so do not go there as well if are wanting to be checked for the flu ! I would recommend you go somewhere else if possible. Less stress and there are other places with better customer service !!! read more

Horrible service. It took 2 hrs and 45 mins to be checked in and then I finally saw a physician assistant. The physician assistant seem like he was right out of med school. I told him I had a sinus infection. They gave me a rapid COVID test which came back negative, but the P.A. doctor advised me that he could not give me antibiotics because it not a bacterial infection. He told me to take Sudafed and Day-Quil. I went to Winding Cross Urgent Care where I got the proper attention I need to take care of my sinus infection. I will not go back to Westview Urgent Care. They use to be good now they suck! Do not go there, if you want accurate diagnoses and medication go to Winding Cross Urgent Care that is on the hill next to the Wal-Mart. I decided to stop here on my way home to Baltimore on Sunday around 4:15 because I just couldn't wait any longer to get my finger checked out (I got an infection of some sort and I knew the urgent care places in Baltimore would be closed or packed by the time I got home). Anyway, there were two people in the waiting room so I was hoping it would go quick (it definitely was not). Luckily they had the Redskins game on in the waiting room and I got to watch them win in overtime! Woo! I waited a long time, then called to the back where I waited even longer. It was ridiculous how long I waited, but then again it was a couple hours before they closed on a Sunday evening. Dr. William Kelly saw me and I LOVED him! He was really confident in diagnosing me, told me he could do the procedure right then and there, give me a prescription and I would be good to go! I was really nervous for the numbing needles and getting my finger sliced open, but he was joking around the whole time with me and asked if I wanted a lollipop (I am 26, lol and his lollipops were in a spongebob square pants bucket). Anyway, he was very nice, told me everything to expect and did a great job! I wish he could be my PCP! He alone give this place 5 stars. However, the PA or nurse or whoever the girl was that bandaged my finger was awful, it took her two tries and she asked if I could rip the tape off... um I just got my index finger sliced open? She was not the brightest crayon in the box. And the fact that I was there for 1hr and 45 minutes was not a highlight either. OH and the nurse girl forgot to give me my prescriptions so we had to turn around and go back! Dr. Kelly was awesome, overall experience was great. I have a busy work schedule and a busy kids schedule. I looked up this urgent care specifically for their X-ray capabilities. Scheduled an appt online for 9am, arranged for coverage for kids etc, get there and the receptionist states "we don't do those online appts, it's first come first serve". I'm sorry but are you kidding me, I scheduled for a reason. There is no notice anywhere that they don't use these appts. They didn't call to notify me. I had a fairly pleasant experience at this Urgent Care. It's not the fanciest or most luxurious doctor's office, but it's enough to get the job done. I walked in at 11:30 and there was one other person in the waiting room. I was called back at 11:40 and was seen by the Nurse Practitioner at 12:00. I had a fairly straightforward problem, an allergic reaction that required a prescription to calm down. The NP was very pleasant and offered a lot of suggestions to prevent and provide comfort. I was out by 12:15 and went about my day, which is great for an urgent care on a Sunday. I'm not sure if I would come here for anything too serious. read more

Very disappointed. Went in late January for sudden foot pain. Felt certain it was a stress fracture myself. Although they took X-rays they quickly dismissed the possibility and told me to continue to walk on it and RICE. I realize those fractures don't show on primary X-rays, however they wouldn't listen. Went in one evening my husband had a bad rash on his back, they said he owed a bill from 2016 of $71.00 and they would not see him unless he paid it right then and there. We had no problem about paying the bill, it was the way they went about it . Brought my child here to have her swollen ankle looked at. Took xrays and told us to go to a feet doctor because they couldnt pinpoint the problem. Then they wrapped her foot/leg up and after visiting the foot doctor, they were appaled how horribly it was wrapped. Customer service was meh, and one of the doctors were complaining to the nurse as I was being esscorted to the room lol. Id just avoid this place at all costs, never again. read more

I am truly disappointed by my visit to Westview Urgent Care Medi Center. I went to urgent care because I had developed an impossibly itchy rash on my private zone. I waited for about an hour before I saw the doctor. When I finally did and explained my symptoms, she asked me to disrobe and left for about 10 minutes, when she came back there was another nurse with her but didnt say anything. So I of course was extremely uncomfortable about another individual in the room (even though I understand why). It was more about not being told it would happen. Next, when I revealed the area to be diagnosed, the doctor didn't even ask any questions about recent activity. Then said it "looks like a yeast infection", I have no history of this and have always been very hygienic. Prescribed some antifungal OTC medicine. However I believe that I was misdiagnosed and that it was actually poison ivy rash all over my privates, as it has appeared all over my neck and arms. Doctor i had is incompetent and misdiagnosed me, causing me several days of discomfort before I was able to properly treat myself. Will not go again. Support staff were polite and nice. read more

I went there after waking to fever and chills. I go in and explain my symptoms. They use the head scanner to take my temp and they write 98.6 which is pretty impossible since I took my temp 15 min before and it was 100. After seeing the dr she says to just go home and rest and drink lots of fluids and if it gets worse call them. Now I have a temp of 102 after spending 2 days resting. Why make me suffer? Just give me something to help when I first come in and save us both the time. I won't be going back. After calling the next day when I'm much worse I'm told I would get a call back. 3 hours later I call again and am told they have patients. Am I no longer a patient because I paid yesterday? Needless to say I am at another urgent care now. I have the flu. That's a pretty bad Urgent Care if they can't diagnose a flu. Oh well, lesson learned. read more

I would seriously consider going to another medical provider. The quality of care is sub-standard and their billing department is deceitful and incompetent. I have been given referrals for tests that would not assist a medical diagnosis. My suspicions arose when given a referral for a test for a problem in my throat. Instead of the test, I went to an Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor who looked at the tests requests, said the would tell nothing of the problem in my throat, and tore them up. Now lets talk about their billing department. I have been billed for an emergency visit, $60+ dollers when I had made an appointment. Had to argue with them for several weeks. Now I'm fighting with them over a bill they miscoded of over two years ago. They have acknowledged the mistake , assured me on many occasions over the last two years the would correct it and today I got a notice of this unpaid bill. I went here for a school physical. It was the cheapest one around--$75. The PA I saw was really nice. And filled out all my forms for me. The TB tests (I had to get two for school) were originally $20, but on my visit for the second one, they told me it was $35! That's just outrageous, especially because FMH does them for $10. I wouldn't suggest going here for TB tests, but overall it's a clean facility with friendly staff. read more

"Meh. I've experienced better", aka 2 stars, feels a bit generous. But 1 star doesn't seem fair because I at least left clutching a simple prescription. So, they open at 8am. I show up at 7:30 and hang out, aiming to be the first one there. Success! I sign in at 8am and finish my paperwork (I was an established patient, so very little paperwork.) The front desk girl is friendly and seems plenty competent at her job. I am brought back to the P.A. for the pointless checking of my vitals. After a girl with zero personality finishes checking my weight and BP I am brought back to the exam room to see the doctor and told it would be a minute. 20 minutes later I pop my head out of the door to see if I will be seen soon. The P.A. says "I think she just got in." Well, 10 minutes later the doctor actually appeared, strolling in with nothing to say about making her first patient wait 1/2 hour. So, to recap: they bring patients back at 8 but the doctor doesn't even show up until after 8:30. That is very poor customer service. People who show up on time to be seen early are going to wait 1/2 hour because the doctor doesn't even get it when the place opens. When the doctor walked in she was soft-spoken and didn't say much. Not terribly inquisitive. She listened to my breath sounds with the stethoscope, told me I probably had a bacterial bronchitis, and prescribed me a Z-pack. All in all, I waited 30 minutes for a 3 minute encounter with a doctor who seemed to be hardly even mentally in the room with me. For $140 this experience was not at all fulfilling, and I don't feel particularly confident in the diagnosis. She had very little to say about the yellow film on my tongue, even forgetting to ask...I had to bring it back up. She pretty much shrugged. The simple fact that they actually schedule the doctor (whose hands smelled like maple syrup) to come in later than the patients is a ridiculous and actually insulting policy. The patient obviously is there at the convenience of the doctor, not the other way around. That fact alone is a big red flag about this business in my eyes. read more
