I have been to 10+ rehabs and Westwind Recovery is hands down the best treatment experience I've ever had. My first interaction was with Stephanie (Admissions Counselor). She saved my life. She facilitated my detox stay prior to going to Westwind and held my hand through each transition of treatment. Upon arriving at Westwind Recovery, the staff immediately embraced me for who I am and created a space where I could truly begin to heal. My therapist helped me get to the causes and conditions behind my using/drinking. The facilitators provided cutting edge psychoeducation and helped me to strengthen my 'sober tool kit'. The housing staff provided structure as well as unwavering love and support. Michael (Director of Alumni & Activities) taught me how to have fun WITHOUT drugs and alcohol by organizing unforgettable outings such as; boxing, yoga, camping, hiking, waterparks, movies, museums, kayaking, beach days and more. These outings taught me to take care of my physical body in addition to my mind and spirit. This facility and community has impacted me so profoundly that I sit here in tears of gratitude as I write this review. Today I have 73 days sober. Thank you, Westwind Recovery for giving me my life back.

    What is the price point?

What the hell is the "Price Point". We don't say that in California. I've been to many states. California the people, food, weather, diversity cannot be compared to any place else.

Everyone there was very nice and made my friend and I feel right at home. It's on the second floor above the Fresh Corn Grill so it wasn't too hard to find. As we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly pup. We removed our shoes as everyone else had, and entered the main room. There was plenty of tasty breakfast goodies to snack on as folks introduced themselves. The space was clean and smelled of sage which felt rejuvenating. We met the owner, Cory, who invited us to a sound bath session. Some of the folks sitting at the tables let us know to bring tissues... I was not expecting to need them and did not wear waterproof mascara that day, I still grabbed the tissues and went on. The sound bath room was equipped with comfy pillow like seats on the ground. The room had acoustics that transformed me into state where I felt like my seated body was one with the music. As the sounds continued I felt a deep connection with myself that I could not describe, which made me glad I listened and grabbed those tissues. I am thankful for Cory and the staff here, that sound bath was the best thing that's happened to me all year. It was better than any meditation or reiki session out there. I cannot thank you all enough. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health or addiction and in need of help unlocking those feelings to unblock your spirit, this is the place for you. Cory and team will help you find the version of yourself you've been looking for and help you release any feelings that may have been constipating your soul.

I explained my situation and their rep was so empathetic and reassuring. I took 6 sessions and went pretty much back-to-back. My technician, John, was so amazing! So empathetic and caring, he walked me through the entire process and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Most importantly, my face healed! Although I still have some healing to go, I do feel like this treatment helped speed up the healing process quite a bit. I went to OxyRenew the day after this bite happened, and I'm so glad I did. Only 6 days later and I'm already so relieved with the results. The pictures I include are my 1st session compared to my 6th session. Thank you OxyRenew, I would love to come back, hopefully this time just as a treat for myself and not a dog bite!
