Nice family however ... not quality workmanship, would not…read morehire again. Had them do a total bathroom remodel and it's a mess. Bathroom counter has to be replaced due to blemishes throughout. Facets set to close to the sink so water splashes onto counter top. The shower insert is mess. They put in the glass doors on and it was incorrect so water went all over the floor. They had to redo and so there are cut marks and drill holes all the way down on both sides of the inset that can't be corrected. They needed to lay some Mexican Tile we had left under the cabinet and they used white grout instead of the dark grey to match the rest of the room. It also took way longer than should have. Weeks. I can't and won't recommend them to anyone.

He painted for us 1 year ago, paint on kitchen cabinets has already chipped off where it wasn't cleaned and prepped properly. He got over spray on our oven range which wasn't cleaned off. He claimed he was going to remove door knobs and hinges when painting the interior doors, he did neither and got over spray on hinges, knobs and within 2 months the paint was peeling off around some of the knobs.

He was able to give us a quote very quickly and meet our timeline. Michael also connected us to one of his long-time friends to help with some trim work (dry rot) that needed to be done before we could paint the exterior of the house. He worked with us on color selection and gave fantastic suggestions (and tips!) based on our "coastal" style - including painting the front door a color that would really pop! We selected coral for the front door, and painted the exterior of the home a lovely, beachy teal with off-white trim. We couldn't be happier and after all was said and done, LOVE our home! After a year of outdoor projects, this was by far the best money we could have spent; it made the biggest impact on our home and the neighbors love it. A quick side story to speak to Michael's personality - our son (5 years old) went outside and "accidently" touched the wet paint. He was very embarrassed and ran indoors. Michael made it a point to invite our son back outside where he then taught our little guy how to hold a paint roller. He even let him paint a small section of the home. Our son's face lit up! First issue arose with communication. When asked if he had all appropriate materials (having provided pictures and names to acquire correct color) he replied yes and then arrived with nothing. I was on a tight schedule and he had to come back the next day to which he was 1.5 hours late. See provided pictures for 'workmanship'. Second issue He proceeded to charge a nominal fee through a vendor I've never heard of but happily paid. When he said he didn't receive the payment I paid it again so as to be in good standing. He was supposed to come back the following week for another job ( I was just going to put the extra funds towards the new project) to which he never showed up... twice after I rescheduled due to his 2 hour late/no show the first time. leading to third issue. Not only did both payments go through for the job but this individual insisted he had not been paid and I owed him money. Just to clarify he didn't show up for the job he was supposed to do but then showed up unannounced at my house to 'show proof' he hadn't been paid. I had already called my bank for one of the two transactions to be reversed as I have no problem paying for a job, no matter how shoddy, if effort was made so am positive he has been paid twice for the horrible job he did. Bottom line you get what you pay for, twice over and don't book this dude.
