I gave them a call on a Saturday morning, not only was I able to get a hold of someone (Mike is super pleasant to speak with) but, they were actually able to come out that same day to take a look at our plant situation and give us a quote! We had these huge Magueys ( they look like giant aloe Vera plants that are super sharp and extremely tough to remove) that had taken over our front yard and with a little one running around, it was only a matter of time before she got really hurt. We booked them for the following week and like clockwork, Mike and his guys showed up, removed the plants, and left our front yard looking as if those giant monsters never existed!! Mike is awesome!! From the very beginning, I made it very clear that I would **not** be at the property in person. The plan was for them to walk the exterior, review the scope, and then send me a bid afterward. They replied that this was "no problem at all." On the morning of the visit, I received a text at 8:14 AM saying they could arrive at 8:50 AM and asking if I would be there. I didn't see the message until around 9:30 AM, again confirming that I would **not** be there. but he was welcome to go. Immediately he replied saying 'they weren't expecting him'. What?! Despite not having that confirmation, he went to the property anyway, arrived earlier than the time he had just proposed, and knocked on the tenants' door at 8:20am, early in the morning, disturbing them. Security cameras show him arriving with a woman, briefly going up to the door, and not even looking around the yard at all. For a landscaping job, he did not meaningfully inspect the property or walk the space to understand the project. What frustrates me most is this: if he was truly interested in the client's satisfaction and the actual scope of work, he would have taken the time to walk the property, look at what needed to be done, and start forming ideas. Instead, it felt like the priority was an in‑person "sales talk" and pressure, not understanding the goals of the project. Why drive 30 minutes to a property you already know the client won't be at, only to knock on the door, disturb the tenants, not even look around, from the street even and then refuse to properly evaluate the job? That makes no sense from a customer service or professionalism standpoint. In my opinion, this experience showed a lack of respect for my time, my tenants, and my client's project. I would not recommend Faithwood Landscaping for anyone who expects reliability, clear communication, and a focus on the actual work rather than just trying to make a sale.
