This was my first visit to Wett. The staff here was very friendly and courteous, and they were working hard to get cars through quickly. Julian, helping outside, took time to answer my questions and was super helpful. I appreciated his patience with me since it was my first visit. It was easy to get in and easy to exit the car wash. It's a little tricky to exit and go North on Route 59, but I would definitely visit this location again next time I am in the area. Owner was yelling/berating/threatening me before I even attempted to be a customer. The vehicle I stopped in with cannot go through their wash, so I was just stopping in for a light vacuum, nothing major. As others have stated, big signs say "Free Vacuum" not "complimentary" or "Free with Wash" no ...just plain ole FREE. Well if the owner is around, he will threaten to kick your arse if you do not buy a wash. My guess is he is operating outside the franchise guidelines, imposing his own rules. There are 4 cars in my household, and I know people with cars. Owner is more concerned with someone using the FREE vacuum for a couple minutes rather than being an upstanding business owner developing long lasting relationships. Luckily, there is a far better option just across the street, or another 5 or so within a couple miles. No reason to stop here .... read more

I have had the $31 /month membership for about a mouth now. I feel like very time a try to get a car wash they are closed. On Saturdays they are open from 7am to 7pm so my fiancé decided to get a car wash since it snowed last night. We get there at 10:30 and the sign says it's closed. My fiancé drive up to the manager or owner and asked why they are closed and the guy rudely replied "what do you mean why are we closed it's wet outside". The guy incharge is rude and doesn't care about customers service. I will be calling to cancel my monthly service and I'm going to get a membership at Everclean across the street. read more

The price and the idea of this new innovation is awesome. I truly like how your. At is just rolled your car down instead of the old fashion trying to get into the rill and try not to ruin the rims. I always stop at this car wash when I'm in the area, as it's the best one around. I used to have a membership at a different business in St. Charles, but canceled it due to moving further away, and truthfully it wasn't that great either. The sticker was still on my windshield and the owner of Wett Car Wash, Dominick, came out to introduce himself, shook my hand, and asked what he could do to change that sticker to his. Unfortunately I live 45 minutes away, otherwise I would absolutely have a monthly membership. He was very kind and obviously takes pride in his business, as he should! His employees were very friendly as well! I also have to mention the affordable pricing! Not only did Dominick come out to promote his business in the most friendly and professional manner, he also helped his employees start my car wash by getting all the bugs off before I drove through. My car always comes out looking great and the customer service is excellent. I highly recommend using this business over any of the other ones in the area, I'll always stop by when if driving through West Chicago! Owner is incredibly rude and screamed at me over the phone when I politely asked for him to review footage of my vehicle for damage. Told me I was ridiculous and inconveniencing him and it was too hard to do that. My car is only 4 months old and I had only ever taken it to this car wash. I will never return to this car wash again. Car wash consistently closes early while their competitors across the street are open as advertised. Best thing is the Matt that you drive onto and you don't get put into a metal track. Sensors for subscribing don't work from the inside of newer car windshields. read more

If I had to pick a wash it's definitely WETT CAR WASH. I've been going to WETT for a couple of years now & I never found my car dirty after my wash. I have the monthly package on all my cars. This is the best deal ever. I work with a guy & he asked me always how do I get my car so clean. I tell him I go to WETT CAR WASH! Great potential, nice visuals, but poor execution. Easy to select options and make payment, then wait your turn. It wasn't busy, so I waited no more than a minute or two. I chose the basic $9 wash because I only needed to wash a week's worth of dust off my car. I love that the car rides on a conveyor. No worries about rim damage on my new car. Brushes didn't seem too aggressive, and the cloth was pretty standard. Air dry was adequate, if not thorough. Result was a pretty huge disappointment! I noticed on the drive home that the rear window was still dirty and the windshield was not much better. Wiper pattern was clearly visible. When I got home, I took a closer look at the car. Hood and trunk lids didn't look much different than before the wash. I did a poor man's white glove test by wiping the hood with my bare forefinger. It felt gritty and my finger turned black. It just wasn't clean. Lots of areas that apparently didn't get touched at all. Granted, this was the cheapest wash on the menu, but the menu had me expecting that I was just skipping the wax, tire scrub, undercarriage wash, and other extras. I didn't think they would skip the wash step, especially since $9 is a pretty high price for a basic, no frills wash in the area. It's not likely I'll be back. I normally get my car (2021 Honda Accord) washed at a different location, but I visited this location out of convenience. I was quite happy with the overall process. My favorite aspect is that they use a conveyor belt system to move your car through the wash, so no damage to my rims! I didn't have any interactions with the staff, just a basic $5 wash. While it was a satisfactory wash, two factors were a bit lacking. First, there were small sections on my car that weren't cleaned off during the wash. Just little spots of road grime I guess, but I just had to clean them off afterwards with a towel. Second, the drying was a little lackluster and my vehicle still had a fair amount of water remaining as I drove out. There are really nice vacuums available following your wash, so I recommend using them and then bringing a towel of your own to clean up the excess water and touch up some dirty areas that might have been missed. I still recommend this place, just takes a little extra work on the side. My $5 wash over in Lombard, IL does a bit better job. read more

The wash is decent, the membership value is there but the customer service from the management is terrible. I had a membership for 2-3 years and the younger staff members were always friendly. This morning after all this time the manager/ owner decided to berate me for not breaking/ stopping fast enough because i might snap his carwash belt. OK everyone has a bad day... things just got worse and tempers flared on both ends. He was concerned about his equipment, I didn't feel the reaction was warranted and canceled my membership, then demanded a receipt which was brought out from the office and Dominic Pattalio (listed as the management contact on the BBB website) proceeded to crumple it in his hand and toss it into my car. My $30 per month was never going to make or break this business I would rather spend my money elsewhere. What a horrible experience we had today with the owner at Wett Car Wash. Our back window wiper broke. The owner basically said it was our fault. I got it all on video. I have a friend at Channel 5. I simply said I'm not sure if I'm going to like the service my windows have a lot of water creating water spots. he decides to start saying no car wash will get windows fully dry. as I'm filling on our paperwork he conti yes to badger me that I'm unrealistic on my expectations of a car wash. Over and over again he tells me how he is a very successful businessman how his car wash knows what he's doing it's the best around while I remain quiet filling out paperwork. he then stops and says would you like to cancel your membership after being badgered for the last few minutes I said you know what yes I would. I said I would like a receipt that it's canceled where he proceeds to say it will come inside and get it.! I stand in silence. Stopped here my first time a few days ago, was welcomed by a girl who was very good at her job but she sat in front of the screen helping me pick different options out but I wasn't given the opportunity to see which different package did what. I then got asked if I wanted a more expensive package, I figured sure why not I had pollen all over my car so I hoped it would help. She then pulled up a second menu of add on's for stuff that wasn't really necessary. Nice of them to ask though but after I said no I got asked again if I was sure and that my car looked super dirty and this extra up charge would help. I get the business model but the pushy type isn't great and I understand the girl was just taking orders of whoever had her doing this. After my $20 wash I found my windshield still filmed with pollen. Not worth the money. read more

Everything about Wett is better than any place I've ever been. Best washing while being very gentle. Best value for the quality of wash and price per month. Best tire shine and ceramic add ons, great results for very little up charge. Best rinse, no suds left after drying. The very best dryers. I'm picky about this, and they leave my car with very little to dry off myself. The vacuums have the longest and easiest hoses, there are plenty of them, and lots of space to work without crowding next to others. Everyone who works here is super helpful and the air fresheners smell awesome. I love their location and the fact that the parking lot connects to a gas station parking lot. I've tried all the area carwashes. Wett Car Wash has the modern belt conveyor you just drive onto rather than the outdated track that jerks your steering wheel as you enter. Best thing is that the rinse actually gets the soap off your side mirrors, plus the tire/wheel shine was impressive in how equal the application was so no runs. Overall a good value IMO. read more
