Love Wetzel's! It's always my favorite. Located near the entrance from the main parking structure. Head straight, pass the first cross section and it'll be on the left hand side. In between Armani & Blaze pizza. Pretzels, dips, lemonade & frozen lemonade. The frozen lemonades are on the sweeter side. It's a typical Wetzel's Pretzel with fast service. I have fond memories of getting Auntie Anne's almond pretzel with caramel dip, so when our group of 5 guys were waiting at the giant Desert Hills premium outlet on a beautiful Socal afternoon, I decided to bring back some pretzels. Strangely, it's located on the far south end of the mall, so it took a while to come there, get the pretzels, and come back (there were no other pretzel places closer). Got 4 almond crunch pretzels ($6.89), caramel dip for $2.59, and a dog bites for $8.99. The almond pretzels need to be prepared when ordered (taking a normal pretzel, dipping it in butter, and rolling in a almond crunch coating). The server did a nice job preparing it, definitely deserving of a tip. Due to a misunderstanding, I ended up with a lot of pretzels to take home. The dog bites were good, exactly like a good pigs-in-a-blanket, and would have been even better with a dip. The pretzels themselves don't freeze well (since already dipped in butter) and are actually pretty bad if not warmed up. I tried eating one for breakfast the next day, and got a pretty bad tummy ache. Lesson learned. read more

I called hours later and Lissette worked with the kiosk location to locate my card and responded promptly to my situation. My eldest daughter and I had just finished eating our blazing pizza from Blaze Pizza LOL. I said let's go check out Wetzel's Pretzels that happens to be next door. It's not my favorite pretzel place (Auntie Anne's is still my #1), but it was conveniently within our vicinity and I love pretzels so we took advantage of our presence. Upon entry, my eyes were glaring due to the very bright yellow wall. It is a comfy and cute pretzel joint. Tons of pretzels were pre-made and ready to be served. I usually get the same old pretzel... good old Almond Crunch. I got 3 of them. Both my daughters and I have the same feedback on this pretzel. Love the almond crunch topping, but pretzel bread was tad dry and it didn't stick together well and it could have been softer. Only one pretzel was together. When you see the pictures, you'll know what I mean. Staff was welcoming and friendly at first, but when I asked for a fork, I got the look. Maybe because they were attending to another customer and I was interrupting their mojo LOL. It's all good. I have to say prices have gone up. Funny, Wetzel's Pretzels is one of the very few eateries at Desert Hills Premium Outlet. Not sure why this is the case, but at least they are next to Blaze Pizza. Nearly $10 for a lemonade is insane!! You are better off getting soda, it has less sugar

Stopped by today and purchased a blue rasberry slush drink and a cup of pretzel dogs. The pretzel dogs had were half burnt and the other half was raw dough. The slush was 7.49 and the cup of pretzel dogs was over 10 dollars. There is no reason at all why a drink should be 7.49 and the pretzels were overpriced as well. Just ridiculous to pay that much for crap quality food. read more

As always the pretzels are very good and the cashier at the front was extremely friendly. Keep it simple with a plain pretzel lightly salted. Does the trick and it's very quick. If you want to special orders I notice some folks were waiting as they were out of stock. But if you don't mind waiting a few minutes it's definitely worth it. read more

I personally like Wetzel pretzels, however I recently had a bad experience with this store. After they charged my debit card, they asked for cash, because the card transaction did not go through. It was a bit weird that they were asking for cash, but I gave them and asked for the receipt. After I got back home, my card was charged and posted. I had to called the bank, wait and talk to them for an hour to open claim and investigate this matter. I still don't understand why they asked for cash after the card was charged. The workers should be more careful and professionally handle any transactions. read more

So went to Cabazon over the weekend and we picked a great time to go. Right after Christmas, lots of shoppers, traffic on the I-10 heading east into Palm Desert/Springs. But luckily found a parking spot and walked in. Wetzel's Pretzel's, located in the Eastern Desert Hills Outlet, is a haven for those who do not feel like standing in those long lines in the Eastern Cafe or the Western food place. Those are crammed, full of people... Yikes! Wetzel's has a handful of people and they have their doors open for you! There were tons of dust flying around in the area (high winds) and we came in here to try and get away from the high gusts. Ordered the jalapeno pretzel. Because, you know, we really want our sinuses to clear :P They also had someone stand outside, in the cold, in the dust, in the wind handing out samples of their cinnamon bites. This place seems to be always hopping and it is such a small space that the line goes through the door. The thing that I like about Wetzel's Pretzels is their pretzel bites because it's easier to eat than the regular pretzels. I love their pretzel dogs and it's a nice little snack to tide you over for more shopping around the Cabazon outlet area. I will have to warn you that the granita drinks are super, super sour. I don't know why all the different Wetzel's Pretzels make them so sour but they're not pleasant to drink even though it's nice and cold on a hot day. read more

Ugh what a disappointment. I love Wetzel's Pretzels but why do they never have the type of pretzel that you want?! I've been here a few times now and each time, they only have a few pepperoni pretzels ready to purchase. Each time I come I have to wait at least 10-15 minutes to get my pretzel. They they try to get you to purchase the mini pretzel bag instead of waiting which is more expensive and always fully stocked. Why don't you make more original and cinnamon pretzels when you know they sell out quickly? The girl at the counter can work on her attitude too. The biggest disappointment was after waiting 15 minutes for my pretzel, I took it to the car and it was underdone. The dough was still mushy and there was no butter on it. It tasted like raw dough. I stopped by for a visit a week ago while on vacation. I ordered 1 wetzel bits 1 pretzel bits and 2 jalapeno cheese sauces. Both jalapeño cheese sauces were burnt and curdled. Most likely from being under the heat lamp for too long which is not food safe or quality control. The plastic containers were too hot to touch when I received them. The pretzel bites were very dry and the cheese was burnt. The Wetzels bits were the worst at they were stale but completely soaked in butter I bit into multiple pretzels entirely filled with butter and it was quite horrible to experience. I reached out to customer service and I have not received any response or help. I spent $20.32 on feeling I'll the rest of our day. Very disappointed and hoped for more. read more
