If you have 30 minutes to kill by all means stop by. But do not expect them to have anything that you normally order at a Wetzel pretzel.

The VIP area was perfectly arranged for our Speed Networking event, with plenty of seating and a great sound system. They even coordinated with the food truck to arrive early so our guests could grab something to eat before we got started. We are so grateful for the time, effort, and attention Grey Iron put into accommodating our group. Everything came together beautifully, allowing us to focus on connecting, building relationships, and enjoying the event. I highly recommend Grey Iron Brewery for everything from a casual gathering to a large networking or community event. Owners Jess and Joel are wonderful to work with and truly care about creating a great experience for their guests. Thank you, Grey Iron, for helping make our Riverside County Alliance event such a success!

We needed a place to have a quick snack and this place called us over with its big outdoor patio and open air seating. We walked in and could not believe the revolving tap list. They definitely have a beer for everyone's choice. The pretzel menu was also a pleasure to peruse and we knew we had to try one. This is their specialty as these pretzels are hand rolled with influences from Germany, Philadelphia and NY. They serve them with your choice of beer dipping sauce and cheese. We decided on the Jumbo Bavarian Pretzel. It was huge and by far the best tasting pretzel I think I have ever tasted. Soft and great texture. You could tell great care was taken in the creation of this pretzel and so yummy with the cheese. They also offer signature pretzel pizzas, pretzel sandwiches and other pub grub. Service was helpful and the restaurant is very clean. Happy Hour is offered daily M-F 3:00 - 6:00pm. Great place to watch a game too as lots of big screens. Always remember "Life is a pretzel so enjoy the twists and turns."

Very appreciative of this place being in our little desert area!…read more I brought my grandmother here, who is from Germany, as a birthday surprise earlier this month. She absolutely loved it & it was very great to see that not just the menu selection, but the actual food itself was truly authentic I got the bratwurst sandwich for my own nostalgia, which was perfectly made. Really enjoyed the homemade ketchup. My grandmother got the Jäger Spätzle with crispy onions on top. It was incredible!! We got the white cake to-go, which was pretty dang good. The staff was so sweet, kind, & really made the meal feel like a treat in itself! It's such a cute place. If it wasn't hot outside, sitting on the patio would be really nice to do in the future. The only thing that I really hope they bring back is a breakfast menu, because I can only imagine how great it would be. Also, breakfast is pretty much the same across the desert, very generic. Or trying to be unique (for a price). Authentic breakfast from this region of Europe would be a nice change.

Alps Village never misses!…read more If you're looking for authentic German food, Alps Village is the place. The ambiance and staff are amazing. Every visit is consistently incredible, and this time was no exception. We started with the Oktoberfest Pretzel and the Urnebes, and both were absolutely phenomenal. The pretzel was perfectly done, and the Urnebes was packed with flavor. My husband and daughter ordered the Grilled Sausage Platter, which is a solid 10/10 every single time. It's one of those dishes you keep coming back for because it's just that good. My daughter's boyfriend ordered the Lamb Chops, and they were fall-off-the-bone amazing--tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I had the Spicy Gypsy Schnitzel Veal, and all I can say is wow. It was completely out of this world. The veal was perfectly prepared, and the spicy gypsy sauce took it to another level. And I can't leave out the Lemon Breeze. It is everything. Hands down, the best drink I've ever had--refreshing, delicious, and the perfect complement to an incredible meal. Alps Village just nails it every time. Amazing food, amazing drinks, service and a consistently fantastic dining experience. We'll definitely be back! 10/10 -- Highly recommend!

The Reuben and potato salad combo was especially hearty and satisfying, with rich, savory flavors that felt very true to a classic deli experience. The Hungarian sausage had a great depth of flavor, savory and well-seasoned without tipping into being overly salty. The cherry strudel was a standout to end the meal, filled generously with cherries and syrup, wrapped in a flaky pastry that balanced sweetness and texture really well. The beer tied everything together nicely, cold and refreshing, and exactly what you'd want with this kind of meal. I still prefer Busy Bees in San Pedro, but this was a nice alternative within the IE area. Price: George's Market falls into a casual, reasonable deli pricing tier. Sandwiches like the Reuben and similar deli items are generally in the mid‑teens range, while sausage plates and hot meals can push closer to around $15-20 depending on what you get. Beer and imported items vary, but overall you can expect to spend about $15-25 per person for a solid, filling meal. Given the quality, portion sizes, and specialty nature of the food, the pricing feels fair. Ambiance: The space is part cozy German market, part deli counter, with a warm, wood-heavy interior that feels inviting and a bit nostalgic. There's both indoor seating and an outdoor area, giving flexibility depending on the weather or how busy it is. Beyond the dining area, the market itself sells a wide range of German groceries and specialty products, which adds to the charm and makes it feel like more of an experience than just a quick meal. Service: Service was good and impressively efficient given how busy it gets. There was a noticeable line when we went (especially on a weekend lunch time), but things moved steadily and the staff kept everything organized without feeling rushed or chaotic. Friendly and straightforward overall. Parking: Parking is one of the easier parts of the visit. It's located in a plaza with a large shared lot, so there's plenty of space and no real hassle finding a spot, even during peak hours.

Pretzelmaker is so underrated…read more I've had Auntie Anne's and Wetzel's Pretzels but nothing compares to Pretzelmaker. What stands out is that Pretzelmaker soft pretzels are fluffier and lighter, and have a better overall taste IMO. They are what I describe as "pillowy goodness" and they always come out piping hot! Pretzelmaker is located in the lower-level of the Moreno Valley Mall next to Macy's. Pro-Tip: Park in the lot between the Macy's and JC Penney stores. There's an entrance that leads you down a corridor closest to Pretzelmaker. Because the pretzels are made fresh to order, there is a bit of a wait time. But the wait is always worth it. My favorite items to get are: * Mozzarella Stuffed Pretzel Bites with Pepperoni (buttered, Unsalted) * Pretzel Bites The lady (owner, maybe?) who's been making the pretzels does a fantastic job kneading the dough and making these delightful bites! And -- shhh --- they are the perfect treat to take inside Harkins movie theater (in your purse, of course). Much more satisfying than popcorn! Pretzelmaker, you are simply the best and completely irresistible!

Although I was the only one in line and ordering, the wait time was a little long (8ish minutes) but it was well worth it as it completely blew my expectations out of the water. It was fluffy and the cheese was delicious which when you combined it with the marinara sauce made a mouthwatering combination. When compared to Auntie Anne's or Wretzels Pretzels, it is superior in every aspect and its unfortunate that Pretzelmaker is located in Moreno Valley Mall as if it were located in a bigger location (like Ontario Mills or Galleria), it would be much busier and bring it a lot more attention then it's getting currently.
