Today I went with my client to get a pretzel, as we do on a weekly basis! My client has autism. As we waited in line I watched the cashier text on her cell phone as the line increased. Someone making prezzels look at the line and started to help take orders, as only 1 register was open two people in front of us and two people behind us. He took those 2 orders in front of us and took 1 look at my client and made a decision to stop! 3 people in line an us next, I looked like I was in line so maybe he thought I would be watching but I alway am watching. The cashier ask for him to stay and help . Just so happened he wasn't even given his food and they were off helping the next person! I told them he didn't get his pretzel and she asked him for his receipt, you just rang him up! Then as his bag was tied in 3 knots, with a plastic bag from Michael's. Excuse me but he also ordered and paid for a lemon aid! They get it without 1 word. I was looking for I apologize sorry for the inconvenience. My mistake. Anything would've made me feel like they acknowledge my client as a human being with autism. I informed the two employees that I was engaging with that. They are completely able to speak to my client he could take his order he can give you money and he knows it's changed. He also knows what he ordered and he would like to have it Because he has a disability and some ticks and fidgets. You're gonna gaslight until his face is a pain customer and a grown adult if you have a disability or you know anyone with disability this establishment is not in ADA compliance in any way shape or form.! I came here around 2 on a Friday and the line wasn't very long at all! Service was super quick and friendly. Additionally, in the mall where this is located (Solano Town Center), there are two Wetzel's Pretzel's which is nice. I cannot say much about the ambiance since this was just a kiosk, but in terms of ambiance, expect average shopping mall volume. Seating is available within the mall sitting areas. Also, the pretzel tasted fresh and was very buttery! It was a little bit messy to eat but that's okay. This is definitely a yummy and classic mall snack! read more

Not sure if it's just this particular location, but I take a glance at how the employees behave and usually I keep walking. My experience with the employees have mostly been unpleasant. My review is for my experience on Thanksgiving night around 9pm. After waiting in a horrendous line at Hot Dog on a Stick where there was just one irritated employee working I decided to try my luck at the pretzel place. The early Black Friday crowd filled the mall like I've never seen before so it was no surprise that there was also a line of about 10 people at Wetzel's Pretzel. HOWEVER, they were fully staffed with 2 cashiers and 3 people pumping out pretzels. Only waited in line for only a few minutes and got my food. Yay! The staff worked together and communicated well to make sure that their customers were taken care of. One employee in particular is extremely rude. He's of Asian decent, and is very condescending. Doesn't greet not one customer, then has the nerve to have an attitude when responding " What do you want?".. Excuse me? I'm a 35 year old paying customer little boy, adding a couple of cents to your paycheck, so be respectful!!!! My friend and I were walking through the mall with $5.48 in our pockets all together when we got hungry. We saw (and smelt) Wetezel's Pretzels and thought that we had enough for 2 pretzels and a lemonade. We got in line and had to wait 5 minutes while the cashier decided to start cleaning the counters instead of take out order. While she was doing that we looked at the menu. One of my favorite places for soft pretzels! One of the first places my boyfriend wanted to try when he came to California was where ever it was I was getting soft pretzels from. A must-stop at the mall for a quick bite or snack while browsing through stores! My favorite is the pepperoni pretzel or the wetzel bitz with jalapeno cheddar sauce. The bitz are a good deal since they're a bit cheaper than the whole pretzel and they always fill the bag heaping full. They're pretty popular so they run out fast but always have fresh ones on hand that you can see them making in the window while you wait in line. I am a fan of the Wetzel's Original (buttered), especially the one in the bag and it is pre-cut. I normally order it with either the cheese dip or the marinara sauce. I like the fact that they use the loyalty cards, when I am short on cash, the completed loyalty card is a life saver. read more

I swear these teenager/younger early 20's kids have no work ethics and just feel they are entitled to everything and can do whatever they want. At least show some enthusiasm at work for a paycheck. Unfortunately still bought the stupid Wetzel bites and my kids were happy, but I was unhappy with how unprofessional and rude this girl was on her phone and how both business have young kids running it.
