If you knew anything about the original nations hamburgers, it was the go to experience for the best greasy burger, freshcut fries, huge homemade strawberry pies, and a breakfast for champions. THAT IS NO LONGER WHAT THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS! BEYOND SAD! If you want a bland frozen patty burger this is the establishment. There is no experience, it takes forever, and it's just not worth having to get out of your car. You can get a juicier burger in a drive-through. Honestly, I am so beyond sad. The Manager Veronica saw me walk in. She was loading pies on the cart so I waited a while. She kept looking up so I asked could she help me. She came towards the front and Someone else walked in . She walked towards him and started to check his ticket. I had to intervene and say excuse me I was here first. She started helping me with an attitude. I come here for the desserts, nom! The milkshakes are amazing with lots of flavors to choose from. The chocolate and strawberry sundaes are a nice kid-size treat. Take my advice spend the extra money and gas and go to Vacaville Nations!!! The breakfast is burritos are amazing but only if they have the salsa del Sol picante sauce. I called the Fairfield location this morning before I even showed up to make sure they had the hot sauce before I got there which they said they did .This Nations has gone downhill. We stood at the register while two workers cook cooked food for literally five minutes before they even acknowledge just standing there.. Ordered 2 JR Breakfast burritos and the clerk ran us up for grande ones. The manager had to come out and correct the order. Then the original clerk said something in Spanish to the manager, thinking that I didn't understand her. Once food was ready we asked for 4 of the picante sauce. We were told it was around the corner by the soda, but there was none there. Then the manager made a smart remark like it's your lucky day and handed us two of them. There's a man ahead of me and he hadn't been assisted there was no hey hi hello nothing on the staff just kind of moved around in the kitchen and it was almost like they didn't have any consumers waiting on them to take their order it just was rude. We came in for a slice of pie and cup of coffee. There were two ladies behind the counter, cooking away, for what I can only imagine was the one family in the joint. It wasn't busy. But we stood at the register for almost five minutes before being greeted. Once we finally were acknowledged, we were asked if we were picking up an order. When we said we'd like to order, we were told it would be a "few more minutes". Evidently pickup orders are more important. Five more minutes go by. We finally get to order. I have a strawberry allergy, so I asked which berries were in the "Berry" pie. The staff member just kept showing me pies "this is Berry, this is cherry", etc. I reiterated that I was interested in what *kind* of berries, as I had an allergy. She finally tells me it's boysenberry. (If it's just one Berry, maybe call it boysenberry to avoid confusion?). I ordered a slice of Berry pie, warmed up, Ala mode and a cup of coffee. I was given a paper cup. The pie *was* ready quickly...because they neglected to warm it. Did I mention it's 42 degrees outside? But now it's covered in soft serve, so I know to ask them AGAIN to heat means they have to start over, we wait some more, blah blah. So I ate my cold pie and drank my paper cup coffee and tried to use the QR code on their receipt to leave a review. Guess what? Doesn't work! No link. I go to their website. No place to leave a review-not even a "contact us" tab. So I'm here, leaving a depressing yelp review that they'll likely never read, instead of being able to speak to someone who might actually be able to do something about it. This place desperately needs a designated order person stationed at the POS who speaks and understands English well. (I'm bilingual, but feel that I shouldn't make assumptions about what language to use with someone so I speak English unless asked otherwise). read more

The employee Giselle is the hardest working employee there! Everyone else was acting so busy and ignoring me when I placed an online order. All I needed to do was pick it up. I waiting in line and everyone kept giving me incorrectly instructions. Giselle was swapped with pie orders but took her time to assist me when her coworker Yessica refused. Their breakfast in the morning prior to college for such a good price and decent portion sizes along with it being actually good make me continue coming back here frequently.
