I do enjoy ordering at the bar and being able to seat yourself. The drinks are fairly priced: $4 for 4oz or $8 for 12oz. Our order: 12oz Soggy Dollar Pain Killer: 7/10 12oz Sour Pina Colada: 10/10 I was excited to try the food since this restaurant was featured on Guy Fieri's DD&D, we ended up not ordering the items that were featured on the show. We started with the pretzels and spicy beer cheese, this was okay, we loved the pretzels... but the dip was nothing special: 7/10 We then moved onto the Korean BBQ Wings, when I tell you these smelt just like a meat filled dog treat! It was a little off putting, but my partner loved them (she has that dog in her) and I felt they were average: 8/10 We then moved onto the Hawaii 5-0 Pizza, the toppings were definitely fresh and high quality, the pizza did come out burnt... this may be due to me asking for "well done". Pizza was average but Im sure if I opt to not ordering it "well done" it would've been much better!: 8/10 All in all, it's a great environment, awesome staff, good food, and a lovely atmosphere filled with people of all ages! Must stop if you're visiting FLL or Dania Beach!

The interior brings a lot of charm and nostalgia into a city overtaken by high rises and concrete. We showed up as a party of 6 on a Saturday at 4pm. The main room quickly filled up and FIFA -- France vs. England was on the television. I started out with an Erdinger Wiessbrau while delving further into the menu. They started us out with bread and butter. I went with the German potato soup and Spiessbraten -- pork shoulder stuffed with ground meat, bell peppers, gravy, and dumplings. Others went with the goulash and the Munich lamb shank. I preferred the Goulash out of the various plates. The lamb shank was MASSIVE. That can easily be split by two. We finished off with apple strudel, espresso, and a delicious Irish crème coffee cocktail. This was a great time out with drinks, soccer, delicious German eats, and a warm staff.

Throwback to Germany Circa 2006-2011…read more.. We lived in Germany for 5 years and absolutely loved it, namely Bavaria which imho is the best and prettiest region in the entire country. We spent many vacations in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and gained an affinity for fine Bavarian-style German food... Old Heidelberg brought back the nostalgia and unique flavors that Bavaria has to offer. Our hotel attendant recommended the restaurant as it's a less than a 1/2 mile walk from the hotel... We gladly obliged, as the Yelp reviews were great. Glad we did because Old Heidelberg was excellent. The restaurant looks like the classic Bavarian joint, with all the decor, music, and quintessential German-feel... When you walk in you instantly want a German draft beer (and they have a great selection to choose from); recommend starting with the dark lager and ending with the pils. As for the food, it was some of the best Bavarian we've had in the States. Everything was scratch cooking, huge portions (way too much to eat in one setting), friendly/prompt service, and simply outstanding. My only complaint was Old Heidelberg was astonishingly expensive ($130 for dinner w/ tip, 2 people... 4 beers and two entrees)... Aside from the hefty price, this place is worth the stop when in town. Dave Portnoy 7.9

I could see in the case they only had a couple of pretzel dogs, classic pretzels and sugar pretzels - no nuggets, no mini dogs - and they were almost out of everything. Once it was my turn all I got was a "what do you want?" and a lean on the computer. I ordered just a single original pretzel and the person walked away after I tapped to pay. When he got the pretzel he slapped it on the counter and stared at me. When I asked for the receipt, he fumbled at trying to grab it for a good ten seconds before handing it to me quietly and walking away. Only redeeming factor of this place was the pretzel because it was delicious and had the perfect little crunch to it! It also had the right amount of salt and sweetness that balanced it perfectly! I will say though, I will never go here again when I am in this terminal getting ready to fly out.

They have so many choices to choose from and the place was packed for lunch on a weekday. It clearly shows the food is that good. I ordered the smashburger on the pizookie meal deal. The burger is a double smash patty with cheese and has fries as a side. I thought the burger was fantastic! It had a great melty cheese and the meat was flavorful. I also thought they had a great fries to complement it. For the pizookie you can order any type you want and I got the triple chocolate. I loved that this one had a ton of mini chocolate chips among the top of it. Really good and such a great deal. I am so surprised how good this spot was! I can't recommend the pizookie meal deal enough as there are so many options upon it and they all sounded delicious. Can't wait to come back to order a different one next time and see if it lives up to how good the smashburger was!

My daughter and I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and her dad ordered the Chicken Parmesan. All 3 of us needed to go bags. My daughter ordered a brownie pazookie with extra whipped cookies and cream (the extra whipped topping was for me ) Everything was great and the service was as well. We love BJ's and will definitely come back.
