Went in to grab a cold lemonade and a pretzel to cool off from the heat on 9/1/25 @ approximately 12pm. There was one person working there, a male employee, whom did not serve us. Time passed and we left after standing there for about 16 minutes. I know he saw us because he told us he would be right there, but he was not. I would like the owner or manager to be aware of this because so many businesses close down in this mall and it's depressing. This person could have asked us to wait or simply helped us. Most employees do that. Yes he would have had to briefly stop but he was going to make us wait how long? WebThere was no line, mall was isolated and this worker had food spread across all of the tables while flys were buzzing around the food. The staff is so nice, the girls that work there, the manager and the guy who handed out candy at Halloween was awesome! I wish i knew their names but i appreciate how friendly they are and the fact that everything is always fresh and hot. I get inflation but $6.50 for lemonade or a soda is ridiculous, $5.49 for small and $5.99 plus tax for large. Almost everything here is $7 or more and not worth it for the low quality you get for the food. Our pretzel was not fresh and they would not remake it. Sorry folks. read more

The girl behind the counter was nice. We ordered the "combo". The pretzel dogs, lemonade frosty with the cherry boba. That's it! Oh and they charged us over a dollar for a cheese dip. The total was over $18. My wife and I literally stood there in shock. Over $18 for pretzel dogs and lemonade icy and a small cheese dip? We thought she was kidding when she told us the total. We literally just came from Vans and bought a pair for $25 lol! Everything was fine. Nothing special. Wasn't anything more than a snack really. I mean I get inflation but damn. Total rip off. I don't think I've ever been so irritated to the point where I write comments and messages looking for management or at least ANYONE to assist me with my frustration. I work in Lake Elsinore in a construction zone where it's not easy to get food delivered. So, at 3:53pm I placed an online order for 6pm to pick up because I only receive a short lunch. I arrived at the store at 5:57pm to pick up the order, I was told at that time it would be about another 15-20 min wait because they were just starting to prepare the order. So, I asked if I could just cancel the order because I was not going to be able to wait longer than 10 minutes, the cashier called someone to ask how to refund an order because I wanted it cancelled however, she failed to mention they couldn't accommodate my pickup time so that's why I wanted it cancelled. Once she hung up the phone, she said I had to go through post mates? Why would I go through them when I ordered through the store directly? So, I asked for a manager's contact info and I could only get a nervous shoulder shrug and she said I can email customer service. Not only am I out of $26 I've had now wasted over an HOUR trying to get in contact with somebody. Don't even try calling the store, they answer and hang up. I understand things happen but expecting me to just be okay with missing out on money because THE STORE is unorganized and unprofessional doesn't work for me. Horrible customer service on 6/21/23. Was not greeted upon entry, and our turn came up he asked what we wanted from across the establishment and when I asked my wife what she would like, he shouted "just let me know when you are ready" before we could give our order. Once he got our order ready and was getting things set up at his POS terminal, he deliberately added an item onto my order thinking I wouldn't notice. As he was entering my items in, he was saying everything back to me, and after the last item, he quickly clicks his mouse and I see a charge of $6.49 pop up on the screen. I gave the benefit of the doubt at first thinking I misheard something but sure as shit when the receipt came out, I yoinked it out of his machine and saw a charge for horchata for $6.49. I asked him about it right away and he said "oh I don't know how that got there." The refund was given. But my god. How many times has your business gotten away with theft? Went here to get two bags of wetzel bit's one cinnamon, one salt, but they only had one bag left of bit's. I asked the employees working since I couldn't wait 15 minutes for the "fresh" bits that were being prepared, if they could split their remaining bag and do one half salt the other cinnamon. I have had this done for me before in many other locations, These employee's, JOSE, & SUZIE (Working on 1/10/17 at 5:20 P.M.) refused. I tried explaining that both kids wanted bit's and we didn't have the time to wait, I even offered to pay extra. They still refused. I ended up having to buy one normal pretzel and the last bits, which was unfair to the kids. I understand not wanting to help the customer, if I was trying to split the bag to be cheaper, but I clearly would have gotten two bags if I had the ability. I just didn't have the time. You would think that considering the situation; the fact that I was willing to pay extra (need be), that they could have easily bent their rules to make the kids & paying customer happy! I think that the pretzel tasted old, like it had sat out forever. Overall, your customer service is lacking and you clearly need to teach some people skills along with problem solving skills to your employees. This should have been a no brainer. read more

I've had major issues w/their app for two years . Last year, I went to redeem my free birthday pretzel and the app wouldn't work. Store wouldn't do anything to help since they said their app is run by a subsidiary company. This year on my birthday, I went to the store again. Same thing. The QR code is there. Store said it wouldn't scan. Store would not honor it. I asked for a phone number to call and their response was that I had to email. It has now been 22 hours and the issue is still not resolved. Sad to say but I ordered the large lemonade and it was sour as in old. Almost had a fermented taste like it was old enough to produce alcohol from the sugar in the drink. I ordered A simple cinnamon pretzel and a pretzel with jalapeños cheese and pepperoni. The sinful cinnamon pretzel was OK at best but the other pretzel had almost no cheese on it so very disappointed at the price that I paid for it. I've always liked Wetzel's in general but my favorite has always been the Wetzel dog. I went into this location on Tuesday, June 4th in the afternoon. There was a choice of two dogs, I picked the jalapeño one. I paid over $5 for a pretzel dog that was half the size that it used to be. Went in to the store, tried to use my rewards for a free pretzel and nobody including the manager did not know how to honor the coupon. We stayed in the store for at least 30 minutes. The pretzels were over cooked. The store was dirty. Chris, the manager was rude and told me to contact Corporate and tell them that they need to train their employees. I love Wetzel's Pretzels......... but not this one. I understand Covid-19 is a bummer on business because you don't get foot traffic. So all I say is if your not going to sell what's on the menu then take it off the menu. Post a sign, "We only offer the following", the list it so people waiting outside for 10 minutes have the choice to walk away like down to Dairy Queen which is killing these guys. We love Wetzel's Pretzels but yesterday was our not so happy day at Wetzel's Pretzels. I always order Cin-a-bitz and it feels like the one I bought was old so I had to trash the one I bought after showing it to the staff, its hard and there's furr or brush kind of on it. I told the girl & she was busy massing bread, so she said to wait for the cashier guy. It took me minutes and minutes of waiting... and so i quickly mentioned to the guy about it but he kept cutting me so didn't really express what I was suppose to tell him.. he stopped me and said wait. Not worth arguing! I have to walk out of the door and I said "nevermind its ok...." As I was sitting with my 2 girls outside, girl came and replaced the cin-a-bitz. This store had me grossed out. It was a hot day, and it was a busy Sunday. They kept their doors opened and flies were literally all over the place. Granted I understand it's a smaller store so they need the doors open to accommodate their customers, but there should still be something they can do about the flies. I can't even imagine what they are landing on back in the kitchen. I couldn't even finish my pretzel bites because I felt so grossed out. There were even bees, yes bees, flying around in there. They were loving on the frozen lemonade machines. Which by the way had their top lids opened. I had to actually tell the worker there, um there are bees crawling into your frozen lemonade. At which point she shrugged and slowly went and closed the lids.
