Ok I fell in lust with this place since they came out with their pepperoni pizza pretzels and pizza sauce but we didn't get one of those this time around we got a regular pretzel with cheese and pizza sauce with a medium lemonade to drink. Our pretzel had just finished cooking when we got it those are the best kind because it's like biting into heaven and if you dip it into some of the tasty pizza sauce first you'll love it even better. There's no better way to quench your thirst after eating a super salty hot pretzel than with some of their lemonade it taste almost like your homemade lemonade and it's fantastic we prefer this location it's quick friendly service so the line moves fast. I'm definitely staying a regular customer here.

Horrible place, expired food. Never go there it was so nasty. This used to be my favorite place until they gave me this and I took a bite and all of it was sour and nasty.

Stopped to get pretzels. Who doesn't love a soft baked pretzel? I ordered 2 plain pretzels. The lady taking the order began asking something and I could not understand what the heck she was saying. Sounded like she was yelling something. Finally after asking her to repeat whatever she was saying, I could hear what she was asking. She kept repeating, "the bites?" I said no. She again asked, "the bites?" No, just 2 plain pretzels, please! How does ordering plain pretzels mean pretzel bites? I don't understand the confusion here. Got the order straightened out and payed. Received my pretzels only to find that they were partially burned! They did give enough napkins and mustard and the location was convenient for me, so 3 stars.

$4.5 for a regular drink and not refills this place is a joke I paid almost $16.00 for a combo and the food is not worth it.

I consider their pretzels are the best in the valley. The owner is super friendly. Their lemonade is from fresh lemons . Highly recommended.

I love that we can bring our dogs with us when we eat out. My friend ordered chicken for his dogs. I ordered a hamburger with steak fries and my friend ordered the same. The food was fast, the server was very nice and friendly, and our meal was delicious. I like that the servers are not afraid of dogs. We did get put on notice by a young lady who first came out to talk to us because we weren't aware we needed to take the dogs through the inside area first to be seated in the patio. So anyone reading this should go through the restaurant to be seated in the patio, if you have dogs. Uncle Best's is a pleasant place to eat with your furry friends. Thankfully, they thought of everything, from chicken for our pets, to ample shade on the patio. We both had a good time there and we will come back at some point. Overall, it was relaxing and there was very little noise, which kept his dogs calm. I recommend this restaurant if you're interested in bringing your furry friends along and the food will not disappoint!

You walk in and it really does feel like a lively bier garten. There's many sections, and most of it outdoors. The colors, furnishings, patio games, TVs, music, etc make it feel like a place you could relax for hours Their menu boasts an impressive 28 beers on tap (including imports). They also have a large variety of appetizers and other tasty dishes meals. These dishes are made from scratch and much of the cuisine is European inspired. You'll find a variety of brats, burgers, salads, etc. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. We could have easily have spent many more hours there but there was more of Scottsdale to see Some tips: We went in the spring and it was absolutely gorgeous outside. It's now summer hours and it looks like they're adjusting their schedule accordingly. They are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The rest of the days they're open 12-9pm (they open an hour earlier Saturday and Sunday, and they close an hour early on Sunday) Our server was incredible gracious, attentive, and professional. She gave us recommendations for the area and also food/drink to try You can make reservations, but we just did a walk-in. I think this more applies to larger groups as they're able to accommodate that. They also accommodate private parties (see their website) There appears to be a trivia night every Wednesday at 7pm. There's Girls Night Out Friday specials from 3pm-close. Join the Stein Club (rewards program). Ask your server how to join Explore Old Town Scottsdale either before or after. It's just a short walk away Cheers!!

We were reluctantly let into the small inside eating area being followed by the manager after he stared unbelievingly at my ADA documentation. The manager was not reasonable with my sister when she explained he is welcome in public accommodations as a service animal; he glared at us until we walked out! I am a HUGE fan on Brat Haus but this discrimination is unacceptable especially with heat as an excuse on a water cooled patio bc of my invisible disability. EDIT: I have changed my 1 star to a 4 star review as I genuinely appreciate the owner's fair explanation/ accountability and do not want to inhibit this genuinely awesome restaurant from succeeding. I love my dog and I want him safe as well... but yes, this experience was NOT ideal. There were many shaded, misted patio areas with wet floors spots as it was a watery event. He would have been comfortable and safe on the ground, not in lap, if seated appropriately. There was not a large crowd for this event and therefore a LOT of room to accommodate. That said, from prior visits, I recommend the beer "Fin du Monde"

For me, it was a big hike up to the north side- but totally worth the haul! I grew up in the Midwest, occasionally going to one or two German restaurant/ clubs, so this was not an unfamiliar atmosphere to me. It is definitely a "seasoned" vibe, having immediately taken over the space by a former western bar/beer hall that had been in existence for 50+ years. Their menu says "German and Hungarian" but all I read was German. They have a solid European beer selection, including taps and bottles and some cocktails with a German twist. The one that threw me for a loop (in the best way) was Kriek! So ofc I got a pint. We shared a (fairly large) pretzel to start, which comes with beer cheese. Tasty, but I was genuinely shocked there was no mustard. I ordered the jagerschnitzel (pork) and just overall the meal was as expected as if I was in the Midwest - amazing, delicious, insert chef's kiss. I wish I could have joined the clean plate club. The cucumber salad was flavorful and not too sour/pickley. My friend and I both noted how umami the savory sauce was- not too bacon, not too mushroom. The potatoes were not too salty or under-seasoned. Literally willing to drive up again if/when someone tells me to go. It wasn't horribly busy so it didn't take forever to order and get everything we needed. Our server was super nice and patient. She even gave a bar suggestion that ended up being a nice cherry for the top of the evening.

For $60, you can get two buckets of pretzels, some dip, and four drinks for you and the homies. Every now and then, the wifey wants a freshly baked pretzel. I had purchased pretzel bites and didn't eat them all, so I attempted to take a bag from the counter (which bag display was out with napkins and drinking straws for anyone to help themselves, if needed, I assumed). The next thing I knew most of the mall knew I had helped myself to a small empty pretzel bag without asking. When I asked why the display was out if customers were not to take them, Mr. Auntie Anne asked if I knew how to ask for items, rather than just taking them. When I asked to speak to the manager, he informed me (and most of the mall) that he was the owner of the business and I could lodge a complaint over his cell phone. When I asked for his cell number and name, he refused to give it to me. The line upstairs at Wetzel's Pretzels was long, but apparently other customers have previously been embarrassed by Mr Auntie Anne's attitude and were willing to wait for an order. My advice is to avoid Mr. Auntie Anne'a at Chandler Mall and to patronize Wetzel's, who I am sure, are trained to treat customers with respect. And a final note to Big Dude Mr. Auntie Anne, you will do well in the business world to understand that customers always remember how you made them feel - belittled and embarrassed doesn't equate with return customers.
