When I asked why the display was out if customers were not to take them, Mr. Auntie Anne asked if I knew how to ask for items, rather than just taking them. When I asked to speak to the manager, he informed me (and most of the mall) that he was the owner of the business and I could lodge a complaint over his cell phone. When I asked for his cell number and name, he refused to give it to me. The line upstairs at Wetzel's Pretzels was long, but apparently other customers have previously been embarrassed by Mr Auntie Anne's attitude and were willing to wait for an order. My advice is to avoid Mr. Auntie Anne'a at Chandler Mall and to patronize Wetzel's, who I am sure, are trained to treat customers with respect. And a final note to Big Dude Mr. Auntie Anne, you will do well in the business world to understand that customers always remember how you made them feel - belittled and embarrassed doesn't equate with return customers.
