Before I get into this review, let me make one thing clear: I am a mustard fiend and absolutely need mustard with my pretzels. The last time I came to Wetzel's Pretzels, we bought two pretzels and after paying, they told us they were completely out of mustard. The employee made it sound like this wasn't unusual and that they had been out for a while. Pretty disappointing. Fast forward about two weeks later, I decided to give them another shot because I was craving pretzels and, honestly, I usually love Wetzel's. This time, I specifically asked if they had mustard BEFORE ordering. The employee pointed to the container holding the packets, and I could clearly see at least 10-12 packets sitting there. So I order my pretzel, pay, and ask for mustard. The employee hands me... three packets. Now hold up. Three packets? That might cover like half a pretzel for me. Like I said, I'm mustard obsessed. I politely asked for a few more packets, and they told me they had to save the remaining mustard for other customers for the rest of the day. So apparently there's a serious mustard shortage happening at this location. At this point, I gave them a second chance and somehow left even more disappointed than the first time. If you're a fellow mustard lover, just be warned. Looks like Auntie Anne's might be getting my pretzel business at the Outlets at Orange from now on. read more

Not sure about all these reviews of bad customer service but we had a very nice girl help us at the counter on our visit. The young lady EMILY S who by the way wasn't wearing a name tag and I had to ask her and she whispered it like she didn't want me to know her name was extremely rude bothered that I was ordering like I was bothering her do her job. Staff: The lady who helped us was nice, not exceptionally nice, but not rude either. Quality: This is the area that was most concerning. We have had the cinnamon bites many times at other locations. Every time we have had this, it has always been tasty, and tasted the same. However, this order was really bad. It was overcooked and had no flavor at all. It seemed like they were thrown in the bag and a tiny amount of cinnamon sprinkled on top. Nothing made its way into the bag. This ended up being a flavorless and disappointing purchase. Value: The price is reasonable if served correctly but this order as mentioned was a really big disappointment so in this way it was a bad deal. My boyfriend had never had Wetzel's Pretzels before and now he is a fan lol He likes the ones wrapped in wieners lol There was a line at this location. This one seems to be a very busy spot. Pretzels are always a great little snack when you get the munchies during a busy shopping day. This location is convenient and just right when it comes to a quick bite. I enjoy the bites the most. The Cheesy Dog Bites and the Pizza Bitz. Soft and tasty. Kids love them. The frozen Strawberry Lemonade hits the spot too on those hot days. Beware of brain freeze as I always drink it too fast. Just because it's so good. Lol. Will definitely come back here again. read more

I always get the Wetzel bits and the jalepeno cheese sauce. It's the only thing that gravitates me here over auntie Anne's. I recently read that for their 30 year anniversary, they had old pretzel flavors and an orange creamsicle drink. So I came specifically with that in mind. I didn't see any old / unique flavors so I opted for my usual and got the orange creamsicle. This is a hard pass. It's TOO icey and just does not hit. At first, you think the flavor is going to get there, and then it just doesn't. The cream on top literally comes from a carton and tastes like rough bits of ice. I don't think it's the location, I think the drink is exactly how it's supposed to taste and it's not worth even $3, yet alone the $7-8 I paid. I mean you can never go wrong with Wetzel Pretzel. The food tastes great and is very fast. The downside to this location is parking. Yes there is plenty of parking. However do not expect it to be easy to find near this location. You will need to walk far sometimes just to get a pretzel. Overall this location is very clean and organized very well. I would only visit this location again if I was in the area, but I would not go out of my way due to the parking difficulty. read more

Hey, if you're going to charge almost $30 for 3 items, they should probably be fresh and not burnt to the point of being inedible. The pretzels pictured are the REPLACEMENT for the extra burnt ones I had to ask to for. When I said they were too hard and burnt, I mean it was like eating old taffy. When I returned to ask for a better order of cheese weenies, I wasn't asked if I wanted to wait for fresh ones, or if I wanted a refund. I was asked if I wanted the less expensive option that didn't have cheese. I definitely wanted the cheese ones, that's why I ordered them. When I asked if they were less expensive, the response was "like 30¢ or something". If I could give 0 stars I would. I bought s'mores pretzel bits and they were completely disgusting. Took pretzel bits and poured chocolate and threw some marshmallows on top. It wasn't even toasted. I went back and expressed displeasure politely. I had taken a few bites but these things were so gross I couldn't my even eat them. I asked if I could just have regular pretzel bites and the cashier working looked at me like I was crazy. Sorry to say Wetzels charged me more than double for our treat today. When we come to Block weve ordered bites w salt and almond crunch. Then when it changed to the Outlets weve ordered bites w salt and almond crunch. Now today we came to shop and get a treat, place our order and NEVER had an issue and anyone tell us we cant mix 2 flavors. So normally we enjoy just the one bag today I had to buy 2....ridiculous! Went here today and was disappointed just like many other people. I ordered pretzel bites, cheese dip, and a water. The pretzels tasted a little odd, like they had garlic on them or something. Not horrible, but definitely not the normal flavor. The cheese had pooled oil in it; no idea how that happened. Again, not horrible, but also not ideal. The worst part was that they would not provide a cup of water. I asked, and the counter person said they don't have that. I pointed out to her that the drink dispenser right behind her clearly had a tab that said "water" and they had cups, so they obviously had it. She didn't care and still said no. So I had to buy a bottle water with a partially ripped label (probably the absolute cheapest bottled water they could source). Lastly, there are only napkin dispensers in front of the cashier. Of course they don't give you any automatically, so if you forget, you have to barge in on other customers at the register to get napkins. All in all, this place gets an F. I walked in to this location and spent well over 25.00 in pretzels for myself and my family. All was good though, until we wanted a drink. I went back in to order a drink. The employee handed me my drink and I left. As I walked out, I realized that I did not get my receipt. According to the sign..my drink is now free. Yaay. So, I walk in, reference the sign and that she still had my receipt. She said "No, we don't honor that sign." Was I hearing things? I read thr sign outloud again. This time she tore off the receipt and handed it to me. I said no thanks, I'll take my free drink. Now, another girl walked over and said you were supposed to take it yourself from the register. My daughters looked at me not understanding why these girls were so rude and adamant about not honoring the sign. I was at a loss. I walked out and then decided to just get a refund. Upon my return, one of the girls said, she took a drink and then they asked for the drink back. REALLY. DO YOU THINK I MIGHT HAVE COVID AND YOU JUST TOOK A DRINK INTO YOUR WORKSPACE FROM A STRANGER!!! NASTY. This girl stood there the whole time waving at me and being as obnoxious as she could. Ordered a cup of wrapped hot dogs for over $8 which is steep, but there was an ample number in the cup. Their chip reader was broken, the customer service and communication was poor, I wasn't given enough sauce packets (behind counter so you can't get them yourself), the bottoms of every single one were burnt BLACK, and I was given no napkins. I went to go redeem my free Pizza Bitz from the app (which I'm a usual customer and redeem my free food if I had any). But for some reason, the lady on the counter today told me I can't and the best they would do is a free plain pretzel. I changed my mind at first to instead order a free drink, but she said no, I would only be able to get the free pretzel. I was like "alright then". After that, I then asked if I can order something separate that I would be willing to pay with my own money. She said she couldn't for some reason and seemed really bothered when I asked.I don't know what is up or what their problem is with the morning/daytime employees. I had to revisit Wetzels today (2/8/24) on my lunch break because I was given very dry pretzels when I went yesterday and felt as if they had been in there for an hour. Thankfully, I was greeted by a nice cashier, and when I told her my concerns, she told me it wouldn't be a problem to give her a moment to inform her other coworker (the lady making pretzels) to make sure they were on the same page on what's going on. Then, the lady making pretzels approached me, telling me how sorry she was for the inconvenience. Give her a few minutes. She had a batch of pizza pretzels that were almost ready, and I agreed and said thank you so much. I didn't mind waiting a few extra minutes for a fresh pretzel. Never have I dealt with a cashier who was being so deceitful with an entire order by upselling multiple add-ons at a fast-food restaurant. I just wanted to warn everyone that they try to quickly question what type of drink you wanted (while holding the cup under the dispenser) and what dipping sauce you had wanted when you clearly only wanted the one pretzel. When I questioned the cashier about the extra charges she muttered under her breath, not looking me in the eye. I came in today around 6 ish after shopping because my two daughters really wanted to try the mini cheese hotdogs and wanted to get a pretzel. We ended up buying two orders of the mini hot dogs, two cheese cups, and two jalapeño and pepperoni pretzels. The pretzels are delicious. The hotdogs were a bit hard my daughters didn't eat them. Customer service was upsetting. The cashier was rude! Usually I go to the Downtown Disney location which I enjoy. The one plus for this location is the price which is $1-2 cheaper. Friday night at 930pm and it's not too busy, just one party ahead of me. I can also see them cooking lots of fresh pretzels. So why the one star? The service was lacking. Even without it being busy, I felt rushed like they wanted me out of there. I ordered the almond crunch pretzel. The almond crunch part tasted like candy. But the pretzel was hard and stale tasting. Didn't make sense with seeing so many fresh baked pretzels but I guess they thought it would be busier? Next time I'd rather pay more at Disney for a good tasting one. read more
