    Small nuggets, not a large
    Nichole P.

I'm having mixed feelings a bit this location. On Sunday, 2/5/2023, I placed a mobile order for a 5:30pm pick up. I ordered 2 snack packs which comes with 2 large nuggets, 2 pretzels, and 4 dips. It was a total of 3 large original nuggets, 1 large cinnamon sugar nuggets, 3 almond pretzels, 1 sour cream and onion pretzels, and 8 dips. Everything was hot and fresh. So amazing that I was craving it again. Fast forward to today, 2/8/2023, I placed a mobile order for 1 snack pack(2 large original nuggets, 2 almond pretzels and 4 dips) and mini pretzels dogs. My mom got there and was told they didn't get the order since their system is down so it'll be 10 minutes for the mini pretzel dogs. Ok, fine. Things happen. She got the stuff and came home. She saw 2 mini pretzel dogs and thought they were being nice since she had to wait. Cool. I grab an almond pretzel and it was rock hard! They should've made new ones since they were making the mini pretzels dogs anyways. Then I check the nuggets and they gave her 2 small cups instead of large. So yea, I got a free order of mini pretzel dogs but they screwed up all my other pretzels and I'm here feeling like I totally wasted my money. Not cool. Make sure you get a fresh pretzel so you don't waste your money.

As previous reviews this place unfortunately have poor customer service. Overall pretzel was standard but wish it could've been warmer

I had a great experience with this location unlike a lot of these reviews. I was working a wedding where the pretzel vendor cancelled last minute. We were able to order Auntie Anne's pretzels enough to cater the late night snack. They gave us no issues and had everything ready at the time pick up was! Very grateful the workers at this location were able to accommodate a huge order during rush hour! You saved the day!!

Zero customer service. People just stand around while people standing on line. Employees look at you but do nothing. Do not recommend.

Thankfully, I discovered this amazing bakery. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and it's hard to believe the baked goods are low-carb and low-sugar because they taste just as indulgent as traditional desserts. It's been such a relief to be able to satisfy my sweet tooth without the guilt or the glucose spike. The staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming, and there's truly something for everyone. I was hesitant at first because "keto" doesn't always have the best reputation when it comes to flavor, but this bakery completely changed my mind. Every visit has been a great experience in this cute shop, and I look forward to coming back week after week.

The good Top notch ingredients = less guilty desserts…read moreGood selection of keto goods Good service The not so good Price and size No chairs or tables or coffee Overall a great place for desserts. Their ingredients are top notch, like using protein and fiber-containing almond flour; also a healthier fat like ghee instead of butter (cheap bakeries including store bought use industrialized seed oils). As a sweetener they use allulose - a natural (but pricey) sweetener that is found in fruits but tastes like regular sugar, unlike the semi bitter stevia. I'm glad they don't use erythritol - a popular sweetener which has been linked to blood clots. They also use xylitol which, when isolated, prevents tooth decay - but is dangerous to dogs. For humans, results in far less carbs than regular inexpensive bleached white flour baked goods which when added with table sugar gives a massive sugar spike. Not good for people with insulin resistance (which includes many older adults). It's a small space but it smelled great when I was in there as they were baking. It would've been great had they sold good coffee and a place to sit but that would probably raise their prices even more. Because of the expensive ingredients, don't expect a lot of their goodness for the price. The carrot cake slice was probably half of the size in another regular bakery, but it was delicious. Note that because of the crushed almond, the texture is somewhat more grainy than a white flour based carrot cake. Same with the $9 Tres Lechces cake slice. But in both cases, the taste was good and I felt better eating them because the calorie count, as well as carb load was much, much less. Actually, what I was looking for was a cinnamon roll but they had sold out. There are a lot of different types of muffins, cookies and cakes. So if you're a sweet tooth, you should give them a try. (a side note - next door is a good Chinese restaurant - Royal Wok, with nicely prices lunch specials).

Both times I have been here I was helped by the same man who works at the counter and makes the drinks. From other pictures and reviews, I think he may be the owner? I'm not sure, but he is really nice and helpful and helped me pick my first thing to try when I came in. I ordered the Phoenix oolong with boba; a deliciously roasty iced drink with perfect boba! Admittedly, on my 2nd visit, I got it adjusted to 75% sweetness and did not love it as much but that is all on me. This one is best as it comes, full sweetness! I need to try other drinks but I really like the Phoenix Oolong. It's like a classic milk tea but better. Give it a try!

The self service, pre-made lunch bentos, sandos and sushi area is fine, but once you need assistance from a worker, it starts getting ridic. How so? You speak to whomever is attempting to assist you OVER and UNDER a twenty-four year old counter area that holds the pastries and/or through a tiny hole in the cabinets. You can hardly make eye contact with the person, because all the pastry is in between where you are standing and where they are standing. Some people are tall, some short, but regardless, there is NO WAY to have a conversation with them. They are trying to see what exactly you are possibly pointing to in the case, but as noted, you're talking thru a case of pastry. This is also true at the Fountain Valley location, where they only have a very small counter to check out with many people standing in line trying to have someone collect their order from the back. Maybe also ask WHY there is never any KINAKO donuts? I was there at 11 am and I got THE LAST ONE! If these are so popular, why don't you make enough to sell throughout the day? Every other time I've been here, you were already SOLD OUT! SMH HAS ANYONE HERE SEEN THE SELF SERVICE process at 85 degrees? All their pastry is individually wrapped and you calmly walk through the SELF SERVICE pastry area with a tray and tongs to help yourself. If you'd like to pass the person in front of you, it's easy and doable because there is plenty of room and it doesn't make anyone feel like you are taking "cuts". Once you get to the end, the cashier totals up your tray and puts it in a bag or box for you. Done & Done. Let me reiterate that your pastry and food are all above par and I know you've been in business since 2002 and let me commend you for 24 years of service, but it's time to CHANGE IT UP to a more user friendly process. It's not appealing to anyone in this busy day and age that there is a line out the door, ONLY BECAUSE THE PROCESS INSIDE NEEDS HELP! It's also more sanitary that the pastry and breads are wrapped ahead of time as I saw a fly inside the case today. Ugh.

Staff were unfriendly, avoided eye contact, and there's very little effort to make customers feel welcome. The decision to use a kiosk for drink orders is a real misstep.
