I'm a regular there. Staff is always pleasant, donuts are super fresh, coffee is excellent. Parking can be difficult but that's because they are super busy. But it's worth the wait. The staff is efficient so the lines move quick. I like to take my girls every now and again to sit and enjoy donuts with them, even when eating in the staff is attentive to our needs. There is an employee at Yum Yum Donuts named Avila (according to what she told me). She's a short heavyset Latina woman, mid-40s to early-50s, and she is extremely rude. I usually just buy a juice, and sometimes I order coffee or something from the menu. Today's incident happened around 8:30 AM. There was no one in line when I arrived, so I grabbed an orange juice. Another customer walked in after me, and instead of helping me first, she ignored me and immediately assisted him. She was very polite to him checked him out, thanked him, everything. She then looked right at me and still ignored me, moving on to a woman to my left who also had a juice. She asked that customer if she needed anything else; the customer said no. Only then did Avila finally help me. She never thanked me, never acknowledged the delay, nor asked if I needed anything else!nothing!!! When I asked for her name, she gave it, but she clearly knew what she was doing. Her attitude was rude and unprofessional. I am a paying customer, and I expect basic respect and fair service. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. This is not my 1st incident I have had with her! If she doesn't like to attend customer she should go work somewhere else. read more

Saw the recent negative reviews but decided to order a half dozen donuts anyway on Uber Eats because I had a late night craving. What a mistake. Only 2 out of 6 donuts were correct. The rest were random donuts they chose. No effort to contact me for my input. There's a reason I didn't select the "you guys pick option." Even including duplicates of the ones I chose or just giving me the 2 i ordered would've been a better solution if the 4 weren't available. Just stopped in for a quick bite and coffee in the middle of my workday between showings. The lady who took my order it was really kind and personable and quick, but I knocked off three stars because the woman who was making my burrito kept stopping in the middle of it to talk to people coming up to the counter. Not new customers, but clearly people she knew, they were joking, laughing whatever and she was not worried at all about my food. I did not expect this to take the entirety of my 15 minute break. I understand if they were busy if they were orders ahead of mine that I would have a bit of a weight and I would not complain about that. I am complaining that she stopped multiple times in making my food to chitchat. My job is very busy while not paying me a lot so any little break I get from that is pretty important to me and it would be nice to be treated like my time is important too. If I were waiting on the woman who was making my food, I would get the food made first before I start talking to my friends who are visiting. I've worked food service before. It's not that hard.. I was very disappointed with the service given last Wednesday night. I was very excited when I saw the blue glazed donut behind the glass. When I asked for it, the worker grabbed it and then it disappeared. I paid for my donuts and unfortunately never received the blue donut. The service is always friendly and pleasant, all the ladies are always so helpful and if I need help to the car with my order, staff is always willing to help! The ambiance can be hectic, since they are crazy busy in the mornings because their product is worth the wait! Line is always out the door. It's not in the best area and i would not recommend going late at night unless you're with someone...too many homeless and people on drugs all around the shop as well as near the 7-11. Been coming here for quick coffee recently. The coffee is fresh, service is very good. With the cost per cup, I can't complain. I always go to this place at 2:00am to get a coffee and donut. One time I came in and asked for a Turkey deli bagel sandwich and the two lady's one with glasses and another older lady didn't know how to make it. I had to tell them how to make my sandwich when it's there job to know to how to make your sandwich. The older lady started complaining and the other girl with glasses took her sweet time on purpose. The second time was on 03/01/2023 I came in for my coffee and donut the girl with glasses took 10 min to attend customers when taking her sweet time making bagels. There was 2 more people waiting to get attended and she knew there was people waiting and she took more time. Just left yum yum and the donuts were everything but yum which was really sad as this is the first time my kids try donuts besides Krispy Kreme. The donuts were dry and did not taste fresh at all and the service was not good. The staff seemed like they were bothered to help us. My kids said they will never go anywhere else except for Krispy Kreme after this experience. So sad but I completely understand how they feel. This donut shop was AMAZING! I travelled from Canada to tour around California and one of our days we just hopped around searching for donuts. This was stop 1 of 10, and was BY FAR our favourite. All 8 of us travel agents loved the apple fritter and their seasonal (Halloween at the time) donuts. Service so fast and service so friendly ! I came to pick up two dozen donuts and they got it ready for me in less than two minutes so I wouldn't be late to my meeting. When an elderly woman who was before me purchased four donuts and walked out to her car, one of the workers noticed she dropped one of her donuts. They quickly saw which one it was and ran out to give her a brand new one before she even reached her vehicle in the parking lot. I thought that was the sweetest thing they could do to brighten someone's morning. I definitely recommend this location. So I have actually tried Yum Yum Donuts before but a different location. I love that location too. First time, being at this location and I was very highly impressed!! As soon as I walked in you can feel the warm welcome, and how that team works the flow in that place is astonishing. From being sooo highly packed, all the employees genuinely seem happy by that I mean smiles and laughing. It felt good seeing them that they enjoyed their job. Now, to the customer service... Like I said it was packed, so I was waiting and CARLOS comes and gets my order because he saw that the line was getting longer, so he didn't hesitate on helping the girls out and started taking orders. He was a delight. *SHORT STORY* So I was waiting for my order and drinking my iced coffee, that by the way CARLOS made it right there when he took my order instead of waiting for it. So I hear my order being called and I see this guy quickly get up and grab it so before I can tell him that that's my order he's already taking a bite. Ahh! He apologies as soon as he found out it wasn't his. It was hilarious. But he ended up keeping it. He offered to buy another one but I said NO! I was going up to the register to get another one. Who saves the day CARLOS he made eye contact I explained the misunderstanding and he literally didn't wait for me to even finish as he started making a new one. Gave to me in no time. I've only seen the ones in LA and so I went in imagining the place would be grungy and empty. Totally not. The place was clean and had a few customers at the tables enjoying their donuts. As for the donuts, SO GOOD. Like wow, I had forgotten what a good donut was like so I was stunned by the first bite I took. The donut was fresh and actually CRISPY. And moist. So good.
