Wetzel's used to be great. Their food is still good, and their ambiance is ok. their service is the real issue. They keep getting our order wrong, and when they realize it they dont even apologize. Feeling like this is pretty rude to a paying customer. Unhappy. read more

Wetzel's Pretzels never fails whenever I'm in need for a quick bite or some carbs for refueling. This little kiosk is randomly placed in the middle of the mall offering a large option of baked bread goods. Items that never fail me: Pepperoni Twist Wetzel Dog Dog Bites Pizza Bitz & Wetzel [original] Bitz with Pizza Sauce. Food items are affordable, filling, and delicious while service is prompt and friendly. Minus one star because sometimes my Bitz are charred at the bottom more than I'd like. Meh. read more

I just couldn't do it! I couldn't walk past these pretzels! So much for my low-carb diet! I did learn recently that low-carb diets only work because you initially lose a bunch of water that carbs were retaining, so with that said, I don't feel that bad. Plus my daughter ate most of it. These are so delicious! They are perfect too, because they are bite size. I feel like I just wrote these same words, and I remembered I got some auntie's pretzels the other day, also in the mall. Pretzels are just yummy! I love to eat mine with mustard! It's just a perfect combination. This location also gives out samples, and it's always of their cinnamon bite size ones. I'm not a fan of cinnamon, so I wish they sampled something else. This location is at the end of the mall near Nordstrom rack, but if you aren't on this side, don't worry they have another location in the food court. They make sure to tempt you from both sides! My go-to place for a quick snack at the mall. Very tasty and flavorful and definitely hits the spot. It could be a bit on the salty/buttery end but if you prefer that like me, its not an issue at all. Would definitely recommend a strawberry lemonade as well with your meal because its very refreshing. read more

I seriously would never waste my calories on a pretzel let alone on at a chain but this isn't about me but for my daughter. She normally gets the almond crunch but for some reason she picked the pretzel bites (comes either plain or cinnamon); she picked cinnasticks. After we ordered, I saw the bag grabbed, and the "bitz" rolled in cinnamon. Service was adequate - can't expect anything more. First off let me start saying im very sad to be writing this review because we would love to go to Wretzels pretzels in the mall... it was 100% preferred over auntie annes..My daughter and I went in today ready to order and it was packed as always ... they have yummy food and its fast service .. but when i got in line.. wow .. a worker just came from the movies to with popcorn and was eating with staff while they were making pretzels ( strike 1) no one bothered to change gloves wash their hands. Then another girl handling the pretzels ( even though they were all wearing gloves ) was constantly rubbing her nose with her hands and yup back to touching the dough! I was so shocked and grossed out .. I immediately got out of line and that was the end of my run with this specific store.. its not only a health hazard but not worth getting sick! This location is worth trying if you want a quick snack to munch on while you walk around or if you need to take a break from shopping but don't expect them to amaze you with their quality. All their items are freshly made throughout the day and are pretty tasty, but the pizza pretzel is by far the most filling, worth the price and pairs well with nacho cheese. read more

Terrible. Disorganized. Today no one knew how to work the register. When someone who knew how to work the register showed up she said that their system was done and couldn't make a transaction. Every time I come here the employees have a bad attitude. I'm done giving them my money. read more

The little ol' Asian lady who works here is so nice! I think she may be the manager or franchise owner. She is always welcoming and smiling--which always helps for sales I'm sure. This is the most frequent Wetzel's Pretzels I go to. They have a VERY PRIME location, right smack in the food court before the escalator to the theatres. You can't go wrong with the ALMOND or CINNAMON pretzel. If you get the "Bites" you HAVE to get dipping sauces, and it HAS to be the caramel. I don't know what is up with all the bad reviews, well I do actually, read their reviews, they are buying the stuff this place isn't known for---pretzel dogs and Jalapeno/pizza pretzels! Those are average!! Come on now.. get your pizza or other things at one of the other stores, but this place shines for the good ol' pretzel. read more

Being an independent franchised Wetzel's you're tasked to meet the standards of the brand you franchise. This spot did not. Yesterday I got a pretzel and lemonade, there was a line so I assume everything should be pretty fresh but the pretzel was not soft, I asked for light sour cream and onion powder but the cashier still put all the powder and the strawberry lemonade tasted like it had gone bad (not sour, it's that taste you know when something has gone bad). The cashier was confused when I asked for a sour cream onion pretzel (if she was training, she should have that said on her name tag) and couldn't figure out whether to charge me first or make my order first and just seemed really confused the whole time while my credit card sat on her register. Wtf read more

Bad customer service-overall, starting with bad attitude, no greetings Emma M. gave us a burnt pretzel, she just throw it in the bag. We saw in our bag there was one burnt/squished pretzel so we had to return it. First of all why put up signs up saying if they don't give you the receipt the food is free .... if they are gonna say that I'm lying and disrespecting saying that they did. The manager Teresa never gave me her face and was talking bad about me and saying o was lying. They also tried to give me another one. And I said no. They looked in they're own trash behind the register and tried to say it was In the outside trash. Also looking through trash without gloves. And the end I told them that I wasn't dumb and I knew what they did. Very annoying and disappointed. Again the managers name is Teresa and very rude read more

Wetzel's Pretzels, has one of the best spots to start a shop in the mall, its directly infront of the entrance! On good business days [Saturdays & Sundays] they have an employee standing to the right of the shop, giving out free samples of their cinnamon mini pretzels. I personally like the cinnamon bitz, I know it is probably one of the most fattening foods in the mall. But I can't help the taste of sweetness and softness together. I try to make it a once every few months kind of activity with the kids. Since they're like addicted to it... JK read more

I bought 2 pretzel dogs for $5.00 yesterday at around 5PM, the moment I sank my teeth in it I realized something wasn't right, literally within minutes, I told my girl friend that I could feel the entire right side of my face swelling, I had to go to the emergency room in Palo Alto. I was shopping on my lunch break and wanted to grab something on the go. I ordered a regular cinnamon sugar pretzel. They grabbed a plain one out of the display case and tossed it in the cinnamon sugar mix. I was pretty disappointed in the pretzel. It must have been made and hour or more before hand because it was cold and some parts were kind of hard. Not at all what I was hoping for. I guess if your looking for a treat and don't care what you eat, this place is a quick bite. But don't expect a great pretzel! read more

Eugene's review is the one I paid most attention too. Why? Because I was going to write a review for Wetzal's Pretzels too, but first I wanted to read what the others wanted to say, and wow. I'm surprised. Everything Eugene said was correct: jalapeno pretzels? Pretzel dogs? You're wasting your time and money with those. I'm in love with cinnamon, and the only other pretzel I'll eat besides that is almond, which is even BETTER. At Wetzel's Pretzels, it has the right amount of flavor and that nice softness that leaves you craving a second pretzel. Last time I went to get a pretzel, on the bottom of my receipt was a coupon: if I saw a movie at Oakridge, I could use the movie ticket to get a discount (I forgot whether it's 10% or 20% off). However, the next time I went to Wetzel's Pretzels, I didn't know I needed to watch a movie first, so I told them I expected my discount to work. The mexican male cashier disagreed with me, but one minute later, he gave into my stubbornness. Then I noticed. I exclaimed, "Oooh!" and was deeply embarrased. The man laughed, "You see now?" We laughed it off, I apologized, and he let me go to finish my shopping. The whole accident makes me think and want to change my rating. I was going to rate this three stars (because I'm only in love with two of their pretzels and don't even bother trying the rest), but now, I know it deserves four stars. read more

It's always annoying to walk the mall, start to feel hungry but not want to eat a full meal. I'm usually left with few choices and pretzels is always a popular option. I usually go for plain, no salt but also like their pepperoni pretzel. Service was fast and friendly. They were also kind enough to give me fresh pretzels from the oven! As mall foods goes, 5 stars for being the best alternative to the full meal. read more

I think the pretzels are a little pricey here,but I really like when they have the 2 for 1 deal. Without a coupon I usually get the plain ones because they are cheaper. The pretzels are nice and soft, with good pretzel flavor, and it doesn't usually take too long for them to heat up.The salted ones are a little too salty for me.I also like the pepperoni flavor ones but don't normally want to pay extra for that---how much pepperoni can you get on 1 pretzel anyway? 2 pretzels can be pretty filling here.Sometimes I get the almond ones if I am in the mood for something different ;they're a little sweet but otherwise good. read more

Went and got a coupon for a free pretzel after downloading the app, it says in the fine print it's good for "any pretzel item" and when tried to redeem for pretzel bits I was told buy the guy working there it's only good for an original pretzel. I didn't feel like arguing with him and got the original pretzel, walked out of line and realized in front of the apple store it was unsalted, got back in like and told the same guy I had wanted it salted. So he took my same pretzel back from me and used a communal brush and tongs they use on everyone's pretzels and brushed butter on. It was kind of gross he took my same pretzel I had walked away with that he didn't know if I had touched, coughed, licked etc. It should have been thrown away, if there were any contaminates on it Now they're on everyone else's pretzel. I don't think that's practicing safe food handling read more

Got a pretty standard order. Salted pretzel. The service was fine, but it was odd that I had to keep waiting. Originally the cashier told me that it would take about ten mins for them to make more because they ran out. No problem. I walked around Hollister and then came back. she said it wasn't ready yet and would be done in about ten more mins. Walked Into the apple store and then came back to a ready pretzel. Today when I pulled in there was a homeless man getting dressed in front of the store. I went inside and was pleasantly surprised by how bright and spacious the store was. They had lots of Easter candy on display. I was immediately greeted and given a choice of several different types of chocolate samples. The homeless man, now dressed, came in the store and said something indistinguishable to one of the sales associates. She offered him a sample and called him sir. He took one and left. I was very impressed by the sales associate and asked her if she always treats homeless people like that. She said yes. As I looked around, I was asked several times if I needed help, even after I told them I didn't. One sales associate joked she wasn't going to stop bothering me. I selected a bag of dark chocolate almonds, almond brittle, and a treat bag and took them to the register. This is where their behavior really did start to bother me. The person who rang me up lightly suggested I needed to buy more stuff and pointed toward a display of Easter candy on the counter. I said no thanks and laughed it off, but then she proceeded to push the greeting cards and then the candy again. This kind of aggressive approach is a turn off and they should rethink their upselling tactics. To her credit, she added several free wrapped caramels to my bag and someone else offered me another chocolate sample before I left. Very generous. The chocolates I bought are delicious and I will always continue shopping at See's.
