Decided to pick up a late lunch at the eastridge shopping center on a Sunday afternoon, and there were hardly any waits at Auntie Anne's, the display case well stocked with pretzel dogs, nuggets, and cinnamon sugar treats (note, I've visited the last hour before closing time on another day, and the display case looked very empty, barely any choices, so unfortunately timing can impact your selection and experience). I opted for the pepperoni and jalapeno pretzel during my recent visit, and was delightfully surprised as it turned out to be one of the best pretzels I've ever had. Light and fluffy inside, a nice crunch on the outside (crispy cheese!), and tasty jalapeno and pepperoni toppings creating such a delectable savory snack. It was so good, I had to resist returning for seconds before leaving the mall.

Burnt pretzels no thank you! I know it's just fast food but it can be pricey so would at least like to enjoy more than a few bites. Also when I was being rung up insisted on selecting the tip. I'm getting turned off my places that insist a tip as a way to check out.

I love Auntie Anne's. As I kid, I loved their cinnamon, but now it's too sweet, so I love their almond. Perfectly soft and crispy. I tried their pretzel bites with a T-Mobile offer and was quite surprised. Service was great.

always consistent and delicious! haven't had these pretzels since i worked at Sears long time ago lol i would always get these pretzels on lunch. bread was fluffy and good amount of seasoning. the only downside was the customer service. every time i've gone there's like 1 or nobody in line and the service could use more energy. there's always a girl there who looks at you like this (-.-) and in a monotone tired voice greets you and takes your order lol why are they not happy? anyway lol it's good! i always go lol

    Pepperoni Pretzel Nuggets

Our kids love the pepperoni pretzel nuggets here, but they aren't always available. They are kind of expensive now-a-days (what isn't?). This location does offer a buy 3 get 1 deal, but that's just way too much pretzel for us!

Tip: this location gives one free pretzel for every three pretzels purchased (not all locations do so)

Great service from this Pretzel maker. Honest and willing to make things right. Great guy. Says he's new, but outstanding service my guy!!

The owners were lovely. It's now owned and run by a Latino couple. They told me they purchased the place about 4 years ago. I ordered the bratwurst in a bun (I chose the polish sausage) and a side of potato salad. The total for the two came to $20.10. The polish sausage was good, the pretzel bun was delicious. I actually sliced up the sausage and ate the sausage and bun separately dipping both in the German mustard. The mustard was the star of the plate! It was absolutely fantastic. The potato salad was supposed to be a traditional German potato salad (made without mayo) but it was very runny and had no flavor. More like bland runny mashed potato's (but with no butter or cream) with lumps of potatoes in it. It was $5.95. I would suggest to pass on this item. I couldn't leave without trying dessert so I tried the almond lemon torte and a berry cream cake. The cake was a very light sponge cake with whipped cream filling. The lemon torte with the light almond crust was delicious. I would highly recommend! The two items came to a total of $17.90. The breakfast seems to be pretty popular and looking at the menu I can see why. I'll be back again to try some of the breakfast items and a few items I noticed on the lunch/dinner menu. (And I really want to try one of their large pretzels, made in house, with that delicious German mustard)

The fermentation concept is woven into everything from the beers and botanical mocktails to the food and it actually works incredibly well. The drinks are creative without feeling gimmicky, and the flavors are layered and thoughtful. The food was surprisingly memorable too, especially how vegetable-forward dishes still felt rich and satisfying. The atmosphere has this warm, artsy, almost hidden-gem energy that makes you want to stay for hours. What really stands out is that the place feels intentional. You can tell the owners care deeply about craft, community, and creating an experience instead of just another brewery. Easily one of the coolest and most distinctive food/drink concepts in San Jose right now.

Went during a lunch hour and also didn't love seeing the chef have their friend walk behind into the cooking area- just seems weird and maybe unsanitary? I also asked a question about a menu item and was given an answer like I was stupid and told to look at the menu. The food is fine-- pricey but healthy -- but they could use some staff training. Edit to add- wow that was a fast response from the owner that really contradicts what I overheard and saw. 38 mins. But, to the owner, the "contractor" that went behind into the kitchen is one of the people who were in line in front of me that ordered- so both a customer and a contractor that you hug, make pay, and let back where the food is made? I've been here several times in the past and never seen the hugs given out today. And it wasn't that my question didn't get a response that I "wanted to hear." The staff member literally responded that there wasn't any bread in it and to look at the menu. I'd call that more than clear- aka, he might not know what gluten is. Hope your day does get better! Edit 2- wow, if a business owner making personal attacks doesn't stop you from visiting this place, I don't know what else there is to say.

Staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful, and even when we moved to the bar after dinner, the bartender was awesome. The place had a lot of seating available in multiple rooms, with lovely artworks throughout and a combination of exposed brick and wooden wall panels. And though we didn't come on a night with live music or entertainment, we absolutely enjoyed our experience here. To eat, we got the sausage combination platte, wiener schnitzel plate with potato salad, and jägerschnitzel dish. The portion sizes are quite large, and we were impressed by the taste and quality of each of these items. The sausages were so juicy and flavorful, two of them stood out but I didn't know which one was which. It wasn't too heavy, which I appreciated as well. The breaded pork cutlet was yummy, especially with the thick buttery white wine mushroom sauce, and the spätzle was cooked perfectly. I finished every single bite, and I'm typically not a big fan of pasta. That's how much I liked the dish. My bf wiped his plate clean too, with tender veal and german style potato salad. I liked how the soft drinks came in beer mug looking glasses, fitting for the theme. We also tried a couple different german schnaps before leaving, the jagertee and bärenjager, and both were really good.
