The bad: The pizza pretzels were spongy and greasy. At the bottom of my paper cup there was white congealed fat. The guava mangonada slushy was too concentrated and sweet. I went home and watered it down with 1 part the original drink and 3 parts water and I still thought it was too sweet and concentrated. After spending close to $15 on a pretzel, sauce and granita, I am very upset. My pretzel was completely burnt. Yet, the young lady working the register today felt it was acceptable to sell anyway. If I didn't live 20-25 minutes away, I'd drive back to the mall and request a refund immediately! It should be common sense for employees to throw away items when over cooked. I love how fresh the pretzels are they are super soft and crispy on the edges. Here's a list of my favorite pretzels. 1) The Pepperoni pretzel! I really love pizza and cheese bread so this would be my favorite. 2) The original pretzel. you can't go wrong with the original pretzel. I love the butter and salt. this particular location sometimes puts a little too much salt on their pretzel but nonetheless its still great. 3) If you are craving something sweet I would go with their cinnamon pretzel. Everytime I see these stands I want the mini wetzel dogs, but they never have any ready. I settled for some pizza bitz instead that came with 8 pieces and split it with my boyfriend. I nicely asked for a copy of my receipt and I get a rude response, "I always put the receipts in the bag"...she was right, after she gave me my receipt I checked again and the receipt was underneath all the food but it was the tone for me. I love Wetzel's Pretzels, but this location has no customer service skills at all. The cashier who took my order was rude and appeared to bee annoyed as he took my order. There was only one person behind me, which was my daughter and he was rushing me for no reason as I already knew what I wanted. Anyways, i complete my transaction and my daughter begins her order and he ask "aren't you with her!!" Very sarcastically and she responds yes but i want to make a purchase and he replies "well what do you want?!!" Just rude. The reason is, if passers-by saw that a small lemonade was $3.70 and a basic pretzel was close to $4.00 then NO ONE in their right mind would actually stop walking and pay that much for a "snack." I can't stand getting ripped off. No matter what the dollar amount, I am always disappointed with myself when that happens. When I first arrived I wasn't greeted I was just asked what I wanted and not in the most flattering way either. Wetzels is a bit pricey in my opinion but when you're having one of those days where you just want to eat a pretzel, then it's the place to go. I love their almond crunch bitz. It's so good. It's sweet but just the perfect amount. I've tried their wetzel dog and pepperoni twist and both were good as well. One thing I noticed about wetzels in general is that they always seem to run out of wetzel dogs. There's always a wait for them.
