I was a bit famished from a Bath and Body Works across the way, so it was either here or Cinnabon. This won out because I wanted something savory. Plus I haven't had it for awhile. Put in my order: pepperoni pretzel, a strawberry lemonade (then was told their dispenser wasn't working, so went for a lemonade) and a cheese dip. They placed the pretzel in a bag along with the melted cheese. I was given my drink not too long after, then I hooked up with my peeps who were snacking at Cinnabon. LEMONADE: Soooo sour! How and why are they serving this?! It's a good thing I was on my way home, I had to tweak it because I didn't like the idea of throwing it away. PEPPERONI PRETZEL: Decent. I liked the chew on the dough. It was served kinda lukewarm and got cold pretty fast. Only ate half. FOOD: 3. Typical of Wetzel's. SERVICE: 2. Both people up front didn't seem like they liked being there. I get it, but a smile and a greet can go a long way. VALUE: 2. $17 for a pretzel, a drink and they charge $2.25 for two tablespoons of melted cheese? Meh... PARKING: Located inside Del Amo. Not a problem if you don't mind a walk. OVERALL: 2.25. Possibly a one-and-done. Might just avoid all Wetzel's altogether - or at least for a while. read more

So good! I always get the pepperoni and jalepeno pretzel. It's a nice treat after walking around the mall. There's 3 Werzel's Pretzels inside Del Amo Mall. This one is located in the southern most side next to JC Penny. It sad to see lots of businesses close on the southern side of the mall which means less foot traffic for Wetzels. The pretzel was good. I would get it again. It was pretty large and the price was reasonable. There was one staff working. Horrible customer service. The female that worked 11/12/25 @ 6p.m. is very rude. Name "Brisa" or whatever her name is. We were standing there waiting to get service and she decided to first finish rearranging the pretzels around before she even helped us. Didn't say a word and just went to the register when she finished. No smile, no greeting. She had a stank face the entire time. Didn't say a word. We had to say hello to her, and even after that, she still didn't say anything. Completely dead, no business. We asked if she can make a new pretzel without butter because we cannot have dairy. She had a really bad attitude and seemed like she didn't want to do it. She then got loud and proceeded to speak in a condescending and rude tone addressing that the pretzel has cheese anyway so it couldn't be done. She insisted that the jalapeños would fall off since it won't adhere to any cheese. That's fine. The way she was rolling her eyes back and looked very annoyed and irritated was the problem. The place was dead as it is and I would assume that the store needed the business. She did not look happy one bit. It was boring as heck. She looked extremely pissed that a customer came in. We ended up not getting it. I asked for her name, and she still looked mad the entire time. We walked off and she just gave this death stare. I feel for the owner of this branch because the owner probably doesn't know that they people they hire here is affecting their business. We almost bought the pretzel but didn't because of employee's bad attitude. It hurts the business. I hope the owner sees this and fires that chick. Ruins the brand, reputation, and overall business and loyal customers who patron the mall. My advice for management in the future is better training for staff and need customer service skills. The worker definitely was lacking. Unfortunately they hire young kids that don't know how to serve or are inexperienced. The owner needs to retrain or hire better people. read more

We were craving a savoury snack after browsing the shops and the jalapeño and pepperoni pretzel from Wetzel's Pretzels hit the spot. You have to get it with the jalapeño cheese dip! I went to this location with my little sister, who is hard of hearing, and we were treated extremely poorly by the cashier. My sister ordered the Wetzel Bites but was given a regular pretzel instead. When she politely explained that she ordered the bites, the cashier snapped back in the nastiest, most condescending tone: "Like I said, I told you we don't have the bites and I asked if you wanted the pretzel, you were okay with it." Not only was this untrue (neither of us heard her say anything about them being out and I don't even have a hearing disability), but her attitude was completely uncalled for. Speaking down to anyone is unacceptable, but to ridicule and dismiss someone who is hard of hearing is especially disturbing. This happened at the location near Beauty Creations, Macy's and the food court. I wish I had caught the worker's name, but what I do want is accountability and a refund. I parked outside Burlington Coat Factory at Del Amo Mall, and the shop was right after you walk into the mall doors on the ground level. Fast and friendly service, and hot and fresh pretzel packaged nicely in a wax paper bag with plenty of napkins. This is the OG Wetzel's Pretzels of Del Amo Mall that filled the main South hall with the aroma of freshly baked butter pretzels! I have fond memories of this location and I am glad that they are still open. A walk through Del Amo Mall and its entirety can be tiring and it does not help that the food court is located all the way on the opposite side. I have purchased pretzel bites from the two other locations and they tasted burnt. I wasn't sure if it was just my taste buds or it they were really burnt. I recently purchased pretzel bites to make sure that what I was tasting was true and nothing else. The pretzel bites were cooked fine, they were did not have this burnt, metallic taste. I don't really understand why there are three Wetzel's Pretzels but I wish them all luck, as far as I go, I'll be buying my pretzels in this location. read more

Been eating at this Wetzel Pretzel for years, since I was a kid funny enough, they used to be so good with service and have everything on the menu. I wanted the new Mango Boba Frozen Lemonade and the cashier said she didn't have it or any other lemonades when in fact someone before me in like got one. Hmmmm not sure what that was about but it seems to always been rude service and they close like an hour earlier than what is advertised. I came in here yesterday got the cinnamon bites and regular lemonade, paid almost $12. The pretzels bites was huge I meant the way the cut into pieces, my 5 year old had a hard time eating them I had to cut it in 3 pieces. And top of that they loaded it with cinnamon and less pretzels. We wanted to grab a quick bite before a movie but not fill up too much since we were planning on doing dinner somewhere else after the movie. So, we thought we would just get some pretzels. I got the dog bites and felt sick after. I knew they were not healthy but I was not prepared for the amount of soggy oiliness I was about to ingest. I guess I should have known better. I don't think I expected much out of them but they were none the less still disappointing. They tasted like they were made several hours ago and just sitting in there possibly all day...
