I needed to buy some candy for a gift and this was the closest See's to my home. They have a store and a kiosk at the Del Amo mall. I parked close to the kiosk and placed my order but was told I could only pay cash as their internet terminal was down. So I began walking to their store. Frankly I didn't know it was at the entire opposite end of the mall. I had to ask mall security several times where it was and was misdirected twice. I finally found the store after passing Macys and going down an escalator. This is a relatively large See's store they had everything beautifully laid out. The staff members were really helpful and friendly and I found the gifts I wanted really fast. Once you find the store it's well worth the trip. read more

When I asked if they had anything vegan they said no. Disappointing that they have nothing available! Wish they had at least one option...surprising that even their dark chocolates have no vegan options?? Weird. Maybe the staff just didn't know what vegan options are. My wife order about $400 worth of See's candies for Easter baskets through Sees's on-line service. The packaging was not damaged and arrived on time. However over 50% of the order when opened on Easter Day was damaged (broken, chocolate was old and white on the outside and tasted bad which we had to throw out). We were embarrassed to say the least. We are sure they just dumped old product on us that was left over from the previous years. When my wife contacted the warehouse they said it was a quality control issue and would pass along our complaints to them. They did offer a $50 gift card. We have bought their candies for 50+ years and have never had this problem in their stores where the candies are always fresh and taste wonderful. Would highly recommend that you buy in their stores and avoid on-line ordering, we will never use that again. read more

I hadn't been to See's candies for a long time but when walking in, we were greeted with nice welcoming smiles and pleasantries. The inside was nice and clean and white and WOW organized, very impressive, actually quite sterile looking. A gentleman handed out some samples, amazingly tasty. Becareful with the samples because it'll make you buy like crazy, it was soooooo good. Lol. We just bought our 7 nutty mix box of chocolates and called it a day but I know if we stayed longer we would've left with more boxes of chocolates. We just love See's Candies. read more

I find it amazing how different this mall location is from the one on the street a mile away. The employees here are as sweet as the candy. To be completely honest, one employee at the brick and mortar store a mile away was a jerk that I mentioned in their review but my wife's loving kindness and my sweet tooth insisted that I try this location and that was all it took for me to become a customer again. It is located on the lower level -- if you walk from Joann to JC Penney, it is on the opposite aisle to your left. Same side as the churros place, just keep walking a bit further. Their candies are always great and consistent quality. They have their standard favorites that everyone likes, some newer varieties, and Tseasonal items. They really do not have good customer service I have tried contacting them many times sense my date of delivery for guaranteed Christmas delivery and they have yet to respond . It's been over two weeks of trying to get in contact and they didn't deliver in tome but still kept sending emails with advertisements for guaranteed expedited shipping in time for Christmas but still couldn't deliver it in time . I ordered on the 19th of December was supposed to be delivered on the 21st never showed up nor did I get any type of email from them like a receipt or delivery delayed. See's Candies is a reliable candy store. I like the flavors, taste and quality. Sure, it's not branded like Godiva, but quite honestly, the candies are equally as good and a lower price. I love the butterscotch kisses, caramel milk patties and milk chocolate molasses crisp chips. It is kinda expensive by the pound, so it's not like going to the dollar store for candies, and is higher end and a bit pricing for every day sweet tooth craving consumption. I really like this See's Candy location. Customer service is always professional and friendly. They are always well-stocked and clean. I came in today, 2 days before Christmas no less, but it was worth it. The line had maybe 10 people ahead of me, but they had so much help that the line moved quickly. I wasn't in line for more than 10 minutes. I loved the fact that they had a little board up with the name and picture of candy that they were sold out of. That's definitely helpful, so you can choose something else if you need to or leave and not waste your time by continuing to stand in line. Or even worse, get up there and ask for a candy that you clearly see they are out of and hold the line up even more. They have very reasonable prices and as with any chocolate shop, they have something for every budget and occasion. Because of the Christmas crowd, they had the extra cash register open at the front of the store to ring up people who came in and just grabbed the pre-boxed candy. I just want to say that this see's candy in Del AMO Mall is thee best one in Los Angeles when it comes to costumer service. My mom and aunt wanted some see's and we stopped in right before they closed and had a wonderful experience with their two staff members Lisa and Yvette they were so kind and gave us celebrity treatment, their knowledge of the candy was so impressive the samples were excellent and they were just beautiful. The blonde woman Lindsey was friendly when we called to ask for their location. The brunette woman at the counter, when we got there, not so much. She had very little interaction with us, rude demeanor and gave us the incorrect order. We specifically stated dark for each piece, and we received all milk. She didn't even bother offering us a box to put the candy in, and just put them all in a small bag (about 10 pieces). This store has been in Del Amo for as long as I can remember and I am so glad it has stayed through all the renovations. Let's be honest, you can't go wrong with See's Candy in general. However, the service here just makes the brand even stronger and that is shown through the clean displays (very organized) and the great workers! All of the chocolates were easy to find as they were organized and they also displayed optional gift wrapping selections! We were offered their seasonal chocolate as well as a sample of what we had planned to purchase. This was great as we got to experience exactly what we were buying! Not to be missed. This location is in the Del Amo Mall, near the Carson Street entrance. It's in the south part of the mall, the old part. Across from Victoria's Secret. The service is always friendly and they are generous with the samples. The lines on holidays, seem to always be quicker here. Be sure to bring work id, or military id, to get a discount on the pre-packaged chocolate boxes. I always keep a few extra boxes around, at holidays for unexpected visitors. My favorites are the lemon truffles, (oh!!!) butterscotch squares (yum yum yum), Bordeaux (yes!!), Apricot Delight, etc., etc. They have sugar free items for the diabetic that taste amazingly good.
