Half bag of pretzels, but they charge you full price!
    Angela B.

Wow DONT come here if you want a full bag, and don't argue with them either. They weigh the pretzels now, and if you want to have a full bag you need to order another bag. They charge you full price for a half bag of pretzels. So sad, I used to love coming here to get a bag of pretzels. And share with my kids, but not anymore lost a customer. At least Aunty Anne's serves a full bag at the same price

This is a tough review to write. Congregation Ale House was THE place to go before Covid. Amazing…read morebeers, delicious food, a cool hybrid restaurant setup, attentive staff with cool uniforms. The place was the sh*t. I've come here several times over the past couple years and it's more and more dead at the restaurant every time. The waitresses are absolutely dreadful. Every request is forgotten or takes 20 mins to arrive at the table. When we arrived we waited 20 mins for a waitress. We asked for some sauce, they forgot. We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Quality like this cannot be tolerated. Travis, the former owner, would be ashamed of this fall from grace. R.I.P. Congregation Ale House

The green chilaquiles were flavorful, and th beans at the bottom were a pleasant surprise. The mac and cheese was super cheesy, and the pita bread was a interesting accompaniment. Ceviche needed a bit more flavor but overall good flavors. Buffalo wings needed more buffalo sauce. Parking was available in the back, but also some spots on the main side of Azusa.

For group meet ups this is the place. The outside sitting area is nice to mingle and enjoy food,…read moredrinks and friends. When it's hot they have the mists on outside. There is an inside sitting area and bar too. Drinks: I am not a big beer drinker so it was a nice option to try the flight to try different flavors. The limeade lagoon was good. The frozen seltzer is a must as a cold beverage to get. Food:The nachos were average size but need more cheese. The Brussels were delish.

First time visit…read more Pros: Beer tasted great. The ambiance and theme of this taproom is pretty awesome. Cons: where do I begin..... Although the Food tasted great, the portions are extremely small for a pretty steep price. It was 105 degrees out today, and sitting inside the the main bar room they left the double doors open the whole time. It was unbearably hot inside. I asked the staff why they are open, they simply said "we don't know, they are not supposed to be"...but then didn't address it and continued to let them be open. It was even hard to to get service at the bar, even though we saw 4 people in staff all hanging around the bar....but no one would look our way and ask us if we needdd anything,...you just have to wait in a line at the only kiosk register they have. The doors being open allowed A LOT of flies inside, and we couldn't even eat our food. We spent more times swatting them away from our food than eating. 3/4 through eating my plate, I pushed my plate aside cause it had 3 flies on it...and at this point I said "im over it, lets go get my bill....i don't want to come back here again". Lastly, it was happy hour, and the barstaff said we get discount off Pints.....and they ended up charging us FULL PRICE for all of them when we looked at our bill. Overall, this place has charm and could be something great. But I'm not ever coming back. This was my first time coming, and my last.

I was in the area and wanted to try out a new brewery, so I decided to stop by Arrow Lodge Brewing…read moreCompany. As I pulled up to the parking lot, I noticed they had an outdoor seating area, which is really nice on hot days. It looked like a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink in the evening. When I went inside, I immediately liked the camping and outdoor vibes. The whole place has that rustic, lodge-style feel that makes it stand out. They had a bunch of pinball machines, which was a fun surprise, and there were murals all around the walls -- including ones of Lakers legend Kobe and the LA Dodgers. It definitely gives off strong local pride and a laid-back atmosphere. The inside is very spacious, with plenty of room to move around and a lot of TV screens, making it a solid spot to catch a game. I could easily see myself coming back to watch a Dodgers game there. That said, my experience at the bar wasn't the best. When I stepped into line to order, it seemed like the two beertenders were a bit distracted. There was a group of ladies sitting at the bar, and it felt like they were getting most of the attention. Usually, beertenders are welcoming and might ask something like, "Is this your first time here?" but the guy with the long mustache who served me gave off more of a "What do you want?" vibe. I asked for a taster, and he did provide one, but I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask to try anything else. At other breweries, I usually feel encouraged to explore the menu a bit more. Instead, I just winged it and ordered the Pink Lemonade Seltzer. It was okay, but compared to a lot of seltzers out there now, it wasn't very flavorful. It almost had a slight medicine-like taste. Because I didn't really feel the love from the beertenders, I ended up having just one drink and heading out. The space itself has a lot going for it -- great theme, fun games, plenty of TVs, and nice outdoor seating -- but I definitely think there's room for improvement in the customer service department. I might give it another try in the future, especially to catch a Dodgers game, but I'm hoping for a warmer, more welcoming experience next time.
