    Donut for me

This is the perfect place for that early bird or Night-owl searching for the ultimate satisfaction. Their bagels breakfast sandwiches rock! Customer Service: 3 Stars**** Variety of Donuts: 5 Stars**** Breakfast Bagel: 5 Stars***** Cleanliness: 5 Stars***** Covid standards: 5 Stars***** I absolutely love this donut-shop and am impressed with their breakfast sandwiches. The donuts and breakfast sandwiches are Yelp-O-Licious! I go to many donut shops because I'm a fatty, but not all are the same, trust me. This particular sweet-shop has a variety of donuts but what separates them from most is that these sweet concoctions are fresh and stocked full. I am impressed that I can come to satisfy my overzealous sweet tooth any time of the day, and they are fully stocked with delicious donuts and drinks at reasonable prices. Breakfast sandwiches are all the rage, and with heavy competition from local vendors, restaurants have to find new ways to make simple ingredients impressive. Well, here you can get a delicious egg, cheese, and ham with your choice of a variety of fresh warm bagels for under 5.00$; and then finished it with freshly squeezed orange juice! My favorite is the garlic onion bagel with egg, ham, and. Cheese, so yummy! They have an excellent and plentiful selection of donuts, bagels, muffins, and coffees. Hands down, they are the most consistent and delicious donut shop in San Gabriel Valley.

    Fresh assorted donuts

Came in around 7:30pm and was pleasantly surprised how many donut options were available. They had a huge assortment ready and they looked fresh. They also had bagels, croissants and muffins available. It's a popular spot and people came and went all ordering different things. The donuts tasted great, we ordered a half dozen and their minis.

Can I say bad-ass? I just realized my entire review is about their merch...This time I got the curry chicken sandwich. I initially got it because curry chicken sandwiches always have a sweet element and most places do raisins or apples. Here, they did peach, and I was like, 'damn. I want to try this.' But when I bit into it, the star of the freaking show was the peppercini!! What!??! That vinegary balance with a tiny kick. Mmmm, yeah. Super good that I ate way too much in one sitting.

Sandwiches are quite large, big enough to split between 2 people if I'm being honest, but nothing I would complain about. Egg salad was great, never felt heavy despite how large it was, but I also enjoyed the Uptown Club, thickly stacked with each component but felt wholly balanced with whatever was pickled and the tomato. I did find the meatball side to be simultaneously too salty and too sweet, even though you would figure these would cancel out. I did enjoy the looseness of the actual meatball, and the crispy shallots on top were a wonderful addition. Would love to revisit, would be a perfect pit stop for any picnic or lunch occasion.

We ordered the fish filet benedict, BBQ pork omelet and ube french toast. The food took a while to come out, especially considering there were only a few parties dining at the time. The waitstaff were friendly. They provided condiments and additional plates when the food was brought to the table. The fish filet Benedict came with a side of potatoes and salad. The salad was fresh, but the potatoes were underwhelming. Although they were warm, they lacked crispiness. The hollandaise sauce was creamy, and the eggs were nicely poached. The ube French toast had a crispy, crunchy exterior from being deep fried, but it was a little too sweet. Since the ube filling itself is already quite sweet, I'd probably ask for the syrup on the side next time. The BBQ pork omelet also came with a side of potatoes and salad. The BBQ sauce was simply drizzled over the top, while the omelet itself was filled with spinach and mushrooms. Plenty of parking in the plaza.

Over the past couple of years, they've added quite a few items to the menu, although personally, none of the newer dishes really interest me. Funny enough, one of my favorite things here is actually their dipping sauce- garlic soy sauce. I used to think their prices were pretty high, but with how much restaurant prices have gone up everywhere, their prices don't seem that expensive anymore. These days, there are so many good frozen scallion pancakes and dan bing wrappers available that are actually really tasty and easy to make at home, so when I come here, I mostly just buy the youtiao. I also used to really enjoy their soy milk mixed with rice milk. Unfortunately, the last few times I've had it, the taste and texture seemed noticeably different. The soy milk doesn't have that rich soybean flavor I remember anymore, which is disappointing. As for the dining area, at first glance everything looks fine, but the tables often feel sticky. Whenever I eat there, I usually sanitize and wipe down the table myself before sitting down. Overall, I still appreciate having a traditional Chinese breakfast option in the area, especially since there aren't many nearby. I just wish the soy milk tasted more like it used to--and yes, I'll still come back for the youtiao and that garlic soy sauce.

First off, I came in for two pastrami sandwiches which they promptly came out to me and said they didn't have any more pastrami. The lady was nice and said she would upgrade me to a different type of pastrami that actually cost more. Well whatever this crap was it didn't taste like pastrami at all. I got one soft bread and one crispy bread and the crispy bread could've chipped a tooth on a normal mouth so thank God I've got implants. Both sandwiches were painfully boring and I wish I had something good to say. I'm not sure what was put in my wife's sandwich either when she got explosive diarrhea less than 10 minutes after eating her sandwich?
