I have been in this shopping center hundreds of times. I never noticed Einstein Brothers bagels. Stopped in this morning because it's hard to find places open at 6 AM. Service by Blanca was amazing, she answered all of my questions. She was a tentative super happy with her. As far as ambience it's a bagel shop, but I will say it is super clean and neat. I came here on a Sunday morning and they were very busy. It took a minute or so before someone could take my order however, service was friendly and once placed, my order didn't take that long to be ready even though there were several orders ahead of me. I got the All-nighter and Hot honey egg sandwich. Both were really delicious and filling but my personal favorite is the Hot honey. I came for a yummy breakfast bagel, and was satisfied! They are a brand new bagel stand here in the West Covina area, please give them grace. I saw a line of people placing their orders and some people grabbing random orders which made it a hot mess that moment. However , the manager managed to help assist those who missed their order due to the mix up and I truly appreciate the way he carried his team to fix the issue. Trust me, it's worth the wait. Parking: They're located in a big plaza, so find a spot is easy. Ambiance/Environment: This location has a small indoor space with a max of 42 people. No indoor seating but there's some outdoor seating. I visited on a Sunday, and they were busyyy! Service: The workers were quick & efficient as the possibly can. You can tell it became overwhelming as they were trying to fulfill online orders and in-store orders. Throughput did take a while; approximately 30-45 min. The pickup station is on the left of the counter. If you order hot coffee, they give you an empty cup to fill up at the coffee station. They offer different flavored coffee. Bagels & drinks: 1) Nova Lox - cold smoked salmon, red onions, capers, tomatoes, and cream cheese on a plain bagel. They don't mess with their cream cheese lol. There was also a generous amount of smoked salmon. I recommend this for a light breakfast. 2) Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich - eggs with beef brisket, cheddar cheese, chipotle aioli on a cheddar jalapeno bagel. I really like the jalapeno bagel! It gave it a kick. All the ingredients paired well together. 3) Country Bagel & Gravy Egg Sandwich (new) - eggs with pork sausage, bacon, cheddar cheese, and country pepper cream cheese on a country sausage bagel. Again, lots of cream cheese! I enjoyed this also! This felt heavier with all the bacon and pork sausages. 5) Caramel Cold Brew, Vanilla Cold Brew, Blended Caramel Cold Brew - I grabbed each of their popular coffees. I always ask for easy ice since cold brew is already watered down. These drinks are perfect for those who like their coffee sweet. Pricing: I'd say it's worth the wait. The interior of the store was filthy like the floors had so much dirt. The bathroom was in disrepair with so much trash overflowing. We walked in at almost noon to no line, thankfully. I ordered the All Nighter to try out for the first time ever. The bagel was soft and toasted just right around the edges. I've had better bagels but i'm glad there's one of these in West Co now. Got the texas brisket sandwich and it was okay, i didn't really care for how the brisket was cooked. Felt like it was microwaved too long or something. I do want to go back and try a regular bagel with the spreads. I know they have quite a few options. The restaurant was very clean. They have a few inside tables, but the best thing is, they share outside tables with other stores in the area. I was greeted by the team upon entering and informed me they would be with me shortly. I only had to wait a couple of minutes until the team finished up working other customer's sandwiches. A quick washing of the hands and my order was taken. The chorizo breakfast bagel was great. Being later in the day, they had sold out of the normal bagel so they made a substitution. My sesame bagel could've been used as a doorstop, and the veggie shmear was so skimpy I had to double-check if they accidentally gave me the "diet" version. Also, the guy at the register could've used a little more enthusiasm. Maybe he was just saving all his energy for the bagels? Either way, it left me feeling like I was interrupting his morning coffee break. Bottom line: If you're looking for a bagel that's more "chewy" than "cement," or a shmear that doesn't make you wonder if they forgot it, maybe try somewhere else. The pizzas are great, but the sandwiches at the alacart downtown are sub par. The bread on the pernil sandwich was too dense, dry and chewy. It had very little stand alone flavor.. which took away from the juicy pernil it was served with. The chicken parm sandwich wasn't horrible, but at the same time wasn't a satisfying experience. The price point for the sandwiches are way too high here. Not trying to be too harsh on a local small business, but the sandwiches truly taste like homemade food that needs to stay home and doesnt have that "this is something I'm happy that I paid for" quality. read more

Very underwhelming. I was so exited there is now a bagel joint near me. I came in on a Monday morning 9am. Service was so slow with 3 employees. I have enough time to write this review while still waiting for my food. I'm observing the workers as I wait and they seem overwhelmed on the orders they are prepping. Online orders walking In still have to wait. I can't imagine how it is on the weekend. I ordered the All Nighter and how are they already OUT of the gourmet bagel?! I love Einstein Bros Bagels. My husband and I usually stop at the location in Las Vegas before our drive home. The bagels are always fresh and delicious. I was so excited when I found out that they were opening a location nearby. My husband went on the grand opening day and bought two bagels. Understandably, it was chaos on the first day. Our bagels were dry and not good. I went this morning to check things out for myself and hoped things had gotten better. I placed an order on their APP. I ordered avocado toast on a green chile bagel and a sesame bagel with plain shmear, not toasted. When I got home and looked at my order, I was very disappointed. The avocado toast sure didn't look like the one pictured in the APP. There was barely any avocado on the bagel! I took a picture, but it came out too blurry. I had to scrape avocado from one half to the other half. The sesame bagel came toasted with barely any cream cheese, which cost $1.89! What a rip off! Both bagels were cut so unevenly. The bottom half was super thin. And, worst of all, my order wasn't ready when it should've been. Just as before, the bagels didn't taste fresh. I will not be going back to this location. Today is April 1st and I believe this was a cruel April Fools joke played on me. I drive to Pasadena Einstein's every three weeks or so for two dozen bagels so when I found this new location I got very excited. I thought of how much time and gas I would save. As soon as I arrived I was greatly disappointed. Less than half the selection of other Einstein's and little to no seating wasn't the worst part. Aside from them not having poppy seed bagels as one of the options which is one of my favorite bagels the bagels I did purchase were so hard they were difficult to cut and seemed like two day old bagels. That leads me to believe they do not make them there and keep them for days until sold. Unfortunately I will have to continue to drive to Pasadena to get the bagels I prefer fresh and delicious which saddens me because I believe we deserve to have an Einsteins closer to home. For me personally that means San Dimas, Glendora or Covina. More importantly a well run Einstein's with fresh bagels and a complete selection. Anyone who thinks this is an average Einstein Bagel store you obviously haven't been to an actual Einstein's with fresh good tasting bagels. I cannot recommend this place. Only time will tell whether they survive. read more

Newly opened for about a week, so I'm giving them some grace as the staff gets acquainted. We came in on a Saturday morning and ordered an All Nighter and a Lox on an Everything bagel. The worker was friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. However, we only got a plain bagel with the Lox - not the Everything as we requested. The All Nighter was very, very salty - still edible but pushing it. Hoping they'll take this feedback to improve over time. I would love to keep coming back as it's close by! read more

Staff was very friendly, the bagel sandwiches were delicious! The cold brew was also good. Only complaint if any is more personal preference, they don't add a lot of cream cheese to the bagels.
