    All-Nighter Egg Sandwich
    Kevin He Zhong Q.

Stopped by this place right when they opened, seemed like they were still getting ready. Ordered the all-nighter bagel and it came out pretty quickly. The bagel was crunchy and soft, not chewy like NY bagels but it'll do. The toppings were hearty and overall a pretty good breakfast sandwich. I see a lot of people post about this store's service. My experience was different, both the people working early in the morning greeted me with a smile, they were also very efficient with the prep as well.

I came here on a Sunday morning and they were very busy. It took a minute or so before someone could take my order however, service was friendly and once placed, my order didn't take that long to be ready even though there were several orders ahead of me. I got the All-nighter and Hot honey egg sandwich. Both were really delicious and filling but my personal favorite is the Hot honey. It has a very unique flavor - sweet and spicy on an everything bagel. Would definitely order this again and maybe try their other bagels.

Love their bagels -- their most popular is the jalapeño flavored ... get there early to get one! My favs are the sesame and plain. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking at this location, and both indoor and outdoor seating.

I came for a yummy breakfast bagel, and was satisfied! They are a brand new bagel stand here in the West Covina area, please give them grace. I saw a line of people placing their orders and some people grabbing random orders which made it a hot mess that moment. However , the manager managed to help assist those who missed their order due to the mix up and I truly appreciate the way he carried his team to fix the issue. I give them a 5/5 on team work and focus on getting back on track . But a 4 for now. I shall visit soon.

Trust me, it's worth the wait. Parking: They're located in a big plaza, so find a spot is easy. Ambiance/Environment: This location has a small indoor space with a max of 42 people. No indoor seating but there's some outdoor seating. I visited on a Sunday, and they were busyyy! Service: The workers were quick & efficient as the possibly can. You can tell it became overwhelming as they were trying to fulfill online orders and in-store orders. Throughput did take a while; approximately 30-45 min. The pickup station is on the left of the counter. If you order hot coffee, they give you an empty cup to fill up at the coffee station. They offer different flavored coffee. Bagels & drinks: 1) Nova Lox - cold smoked salmon, red onions, capers, tomatoes, and cream cheese on a plain bagel. They don't mess with their cream cheese lol. There was also a generous amount of smoked salmon. I recommend this for a light breakfast. 2) Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich - eggs with beef brisket, cheddar cheese, chipotle aioli on a cheddar jalapeno bagel. I really like the jalapeno bagel! It gave it a kick. All the ingredients paired well together. 3) Country Bagel & Gravy Egg Sandwich (new) - eggs with pork sausage, bacon, cheddar cheese, and country pepper cream cheese on a country sausage bagel. Again, lots of cream cheese! I enjoyed this also! This felt heavier with all the bacon and pork sausages. 5) Caramel Cold Brew, Vanilla Cold Brew, Blended Caramel Cold Brew - I grabbed each of their popular coffees. I always ask for easy ice since cold brew is already watered down. These drinks are perfect for those who like their coffee sweet. Pricing: I'd say it's worth the wait. I enjoyed all the bagels I ordered. The drinks were sweet, but it got me through the day lol.

This bagel is sooooooooooooo good it was worth the crazy wait. I felt like they forgot my order several people before me got their order first. The interior of the store was filthy like the floors had so much dirt. The bathroom was in disrepair with so much trash overflowing. But the green chile bagel with the salsa cream cheese was sooooo good. It was probably just a busy day. I haven't had a bagel this good in a while. There's no seating inside but there's plenty of outdoor seating. Outdoors were clean and it had a nice view of the fountain. I would come back

    The All Nighter
    Yolanda Q.

We walked in at almost noon to no line, thankfully. I ordered the All Nighter to try out for the first time ever. The bagel was soft and toasted just right around the edges. The flavors tasted great and it was a filling sandwich. The associate was very helpful in answering all questions we had and offered up samples of the aioli, cold brew, and schmear. I saw other bagel and menu offerings that caught my interest so I'll plan another visit soon to check those out.

It was pretty busy when we went and there was a bit of a wait, but I didn't mind because the customer service was amazing. The drinks were a little strong for my taste, but to each their own. The bagels were hands down the best I've ever had. They do have outside seating, which is nice, because the inside can feel a bit crowded. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back specifically for the food items.

Not bad. Bagel was good! Servers were sweet. Got my food faster than expected. My chocolate cold brew was not super cohesive and syrup was left at the bottom. It would be nice to it to be mixed better. Would return

Halfway through it I still don't think there's coffee but I did ask the lady who made my order was their coffee in it

My family and I visited about 1100 am on a Monday morning, and most of the bagels were sold out. I plan to be here much earlier the next time I visit. I ordered my usual bagel with egg, tomato, and double mayo. When I received it, the tomato had been cooked with the egg. At every other bagel shop I've been to, those ingredients are prepared separately unless requested otherwise. When I mentioned that it wasn't what I wanted, the response I got was simply, "That's how I do it," which came across as dismissive rather than helpful. I also specifically requested my bagel be well done. It appeared the sandwich was about to be served without being run through the toaster a second time, and I had to remind her. What really stood out was when I asked for a plastic container so I wouldn't make a mess while eating. The cashier said she had to ask the boss if it was okay, even though the customer before me had been given one without any issue. It felt inconsistent and unnecessary. Overall, it seemed like she didn't want to be there, and that attitude affected the entire experience. Customer service matters, especially for repeat customers. I've enjoyed coming here in the past, but this interaction has me questioning whether I want to return. Update: Unfortunately, after I posted my original review, the experience got even worse. I also ordered a second bagel--an everything bagel with double cream cheese. After starting to eat it, it was obvious that there was nowhere near double cream cheese on it. At that point, it became clear that multiple parts of my order were either misunderstood or not prepared as requested. By itself, a mistake with cream cheese wouldn't be a huge issue. The problem is that it came after the confusion with my sandwich order, having to repeat requests, and dealing with an attitude that made me feel like I was inconveniencing the cashier simply by ordering food. I've been coming to this location for years whenever I'm in the area, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. Between the poor customer service and the repeated mistakes with my order, this was by far one of the worst experiences I've had at this location.

My go-to order is the cinnamon sugar bagel with strawberry cream cheese..... it's seriously SO good! I'm a city carrier for the City of Walnut, so whenever I'm working nearby and get the chance, I always try to stop by and grab my fix. At this point, they already know my order when I walk in.... they just have to ask me how many! That's how you know you've become a regular. This place became especially special to me while I was pregnant because their cinnamon sugar bagel was one of my biggest and honestly, one of my only cravings. I would try to make it over as often as I could just to satisfy that craving. I really appreciate supporting a local family-owned business, and you can tell there's a lot of heart behind this shop. Unfortunately, because of the foot traffic and competition in the area, they aren't open all day or every day, so you definitely have to catch them when they're open! If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping in and giving them a try. And if you're a cinnamon sugar fan, do yourself a favor and get it with strawberry cream cheese!

The passion fruit green tea was sweet, bright, fruity, had real passion fruit seeds and pulp inside but also a strong bitter green tea flave so it might not be for everyone. The croissant sando was MASSIVE and I added some smooth fatty avocado it too. The sando was filled with savory tender bacon, a juicy sausage patty, some scrambled eggs, and gooey American cheese, all on a buttery flakey croissant. Every donut was super light, fluffy, pillowy, airy, and nostalgic tasting. The donut holes had a crisp sugary glaze and so did the buttermilk bar which was more like a cake donut but still super delicate and light crumb and tasted a little Coconuty? The Oreo donut was topped with so many crunchy Oreo bits and a super sugary sweet icing. The matcha donut was covered in sugar and had a super earthy grassy fragrant whipped cream filling. My wife and I stopped by Cafe Valer on a Sunday morning and were thoroughly impressed. The menu is…read moreextensive, the service is fast and friendly, and the entire space--inside and out--is spotless and well-kept. We grabbed a table on the patio under the umbrellas. Portions are generous and the food is outstanding. My wife ordered the Chipotle Breakfast Avocado Panini with a Raw Sugar Caramel Shaken Iced Oat Milk Latte, and I had the Steak & Egg Burrito with a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Everything was packed with flavor. We were too full to try dessert, but that just gives us an excuse to return :D This is easily my new go-to lunch spot whenever I'm in the West Covina area. Highly recommended, 5 stars!

Severely overrated, omg. Wife and I came in for a sandwich…read moreand boy was this place underwhelming. First red flag we noticed is that they use Lavazza machines for their coffee drinks. Lavazza might as well be the sugary gimmicks Starbucks can pull off on their best days. You're paying for the name, not the quality of your drinks. Next red flag was the counters behind the 'baristas.' They were stocked with buckets of sugary ingredients like some store bought cookie butter stacked on top of some other store bought 'dubai' butter. That seemed a bit unsanitary and, frankly, kinda sloppy. Last red flag were the sad, sauce-soaked paninis we got. In fact, they were probably the worst paninis we've ever had. Our chicken chipotle avocado panini was drenched in what clearly tasted like store-bought chipotle sauce and the chicken just tasted like reheated chopped breasts (I mean I wouldn't blame them, they're a cafe, not a kitchen.) The mango habanero panini was even worse in that it was more drenched in what also tasted like store-bought habanero sauce, making the panini a dripping mess. But the choice of using what tasted like candied dried mango slices in the sandwich was awful. The flavors just did not marry and it's likely because this is what happens when you have a great idea, but use crap and cheap ingredients to craft something. Maybe they are better known for some other dishes, but the fact that they use store-bought sauces on their sandwiches is pretty tacky. Overall, this place is all hype and no heart. Just a steady flow of clout-chasing customers akin to those that frequent Starbucks as part of a lifestyle. Don't fall for the hype. It's okay to not like something that the masses do.
