I don't ever write reviews but am so upset today. I am a long time customer now for 3+ years. Have an appointment at least every month. Today I had a normal gel manicure. The tools used were not sanitized, the bowl of water had been sitting on the table prior to my arrival, unsure if used by previous customer. When I asked about the polish the employee argued with me instead of asking how it could be made better. My cuticles are covered in gel, the nails are not what I asked for. I have never been more frustrated as a customer and was close to tears with how defensive the employee was. I will not return and will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I don't get my nails done often but I love going here. The color selection is almost overwhelming. I got gel last time which was fantastic but I was excited because they offer dip powder nails and this time I went for it. Dip powder is less harmful for your nails, has very little chemical smells associated with it, and this salon uses the Kiara brand which is top of the line (did my research). Anyway, Hannah suggested that I do a French ombré with tips, which I was hesitant about doing because I like my nails short. She assured me there would be no problem, and I'm so glad I went for it. They're the perfect length, have a much better shape than my natural nails, and feel very strong and resilient. Also the ombré is amazing. Wexford nails and Spa has great people. This isn't what this review is going to reflect. They are always nice and always positive. This review is based off of 4 of the 6 experiences I've had at this salon so it's with those experiences I leave this review. 4 times I've been disappointed with my nails. First time was when literally my nails were wavy. The older man did them and they were horrible. Time two was when a young man did them. They lifted in a matter of days and my nails hurt for over a week. Last week I went to get the acrylic removed. We decided on gel polish for my nails.... 5 of them cracked in a matter of days. The gel was peeling off my thumb. Kim was sweet and they got me right in , but it was the older mans turn and because of time I said ok.... not a good decision. The pictures will show you. I got acrylics put back on and my nail bed is FLAT!! My nails look horrible and I was charged full price. It was of my own doing but it was the last time I'll Patronize this salon. Great people but I am just not happy with the final product. It's a shame. I literally got my nails done 20 minutes ago - finished at 1:57 pm and this is how they look. read more

Had a great gel manicure! They had an awesome selection of gel colors, most I've seen at salons I've been to. They even had gels that changed colors depending on temperature. Not sure of my manicurists name but she was pretty fast, about 35 minutes, and did a really good job. I would definitely recommend and come back again! The gel was $35. read more

Very disappointing. I had an appointment for a gel manicure. The nails were cloudy and not finished properly. I went back the next day to have them corrected and the very next day, 3 nails chipped. I added on a pedi when I went back for the repair. I was told there would be a 10-15 minute wait. Almost an hour later, I had been put in a chair but was not tended to. I got up and left. They shouldn't say they can offer a service to a customer if the actually don't have a reasonable amount of time to complete it. Most disappointing is that I had to go out of my way to have the mani fixed only for it to chip a day later. read more

They are unprofessional and disorganized, and Actually suggested I go to another salon when half way through my pedicure they realized they didn't have the color I needed to match a dress for a wedding. This was after they told me they had it and then tried to tell me it was same because it was the same brand. I asked for the hot stone pedicure and didn't get it, and when they charged me Anyway and I asked - I was told I got the same. Their definition of the same is not the same as mine. Got gel pedicure $50 Asked for basic manicure with clear polish since my nails were very short- technician agreed it was the right approach $20 mani= 2 days later 1/2 clear polish completely gone Returned to salon and she tried feeding me some crap about clear polish doesn't have formaldehyde and doesn't stick to the nail She told me I was " lucky" it lasted 48 hours!!! What kind of business is this? Why didn't she tell me this info up front? Maybe I would have selected a colored polish? Which she also said some have formaldehyde and would last 3-5 days and some colored polish does not. Now do any of you ladies know which polish has this ingredient and which doesn't when you get your nails done??? Big rip- off! Extremely poor customer service. No apology. Nothing! Your run of the mill nail salon. Nothing special here. Two stars because the girl so did my Pedi was friendly and spoke good English. She seemed to be interested in repeat business. Unfortunately the two Tech's that did my kids were not great. They went super fast and did not speak English. It's was my kids first time for a Pedi and these Tech's didn't not seem interest in them. My girl had to translate for them the entire time- really annoying. My kids were trying to talk to them and they couldn't. Also, we asked for nail art but it looked weird. I have been going to Wexford Nails & Spa for just over a year. Kim and her staff spend a good bit of time with the clients for manicures and pedicures and they have a pretty solid clientele. Kim takes pride in her work and wants her guests to be happy. They just got new pedicure chairs and mani chairs and the place looks great. Unlike some places I have been, the staff smiles (rather than being miserable) and they are not in a rush to get to the next mani or pedi, which is a bummer when you're looking to treat yourself to a pleasant experience. Updated review 12/2015: We've stopped going to this nail salon. They have gotten really, really busy with walk ins and don't keep their appointments like they used to.. Instead, they take as many people as possible with no regard to their appointment book. We showed up on time for our usual appointment and I had to have someone else do my pedicure because Kim took someone ahead of me and was running behind. It was fine except if I wanted someone else doing my nails - I would have booked with them. Honestly, I wouldn't have minded soaking in the pedicure tub a little longer but 1) I had other things to do (thus booking my appointment 2 weeks in advance) and 2) that would have ran me into someone else's appointment time, too. Either honor appointments or don't take them at all! I'd give 1 star but they do great nails - if you're not on a time restraint. ------------- My mom and I LOVE Wexford nails and spa. We've been getting our nails (pedi, fill & eyebrows) done for 10+ years together and this is the most clean, friendly & efficient salon we've ever been to. We never feel like we *need* to upgrade our pedis because the basic is plenty (we get them every 2 weeks). They have tons of different pedicure options. After 2 weeks, my pink & white fill always looks great, I could probably go 3 weeks! They have tons of glitter acrylic/gel & regular polish options, too. We see Kim & Leon.. They're so friendly. They rarely speak Vietnamese in front of us or make us feel like they're talking about us like some salons do. They always keep the conversation going (if you feel like talking.. Which we do! Lol) ALWAYS make an appointment because they get busy so quick - but they always honor their appointments and don't over book.. We've never shown up & had to wait when we had an appointment. The waxing station is upstairs & private. They don't wax in the pedicure chair. And the eyebrow wax is espresso scented, YUM! read more

My mom and I strolled in as walk-ins here on a Friday afternoon. There were a few other people in there at the time, but we were helped immediately. Two girls who walked in less than 5 minutes after us were told it'd be at least 40 minutes. The salon was very clean- biggest must in a nail place. There were four or five techs working so that was also a nice change from the usual one or two. Prices were par for the course- mani/pedi for my mom was $60 (including gel nails) and pedi for me was $25. Techs were all friendly and spoke perfect English to us while communicating with each other in their native language. They have a frequent client card where after 6 visits you get $8 off a service. Definitely check them out if you are in the area and in need of nail services. read more

Unhygienic and painful manicure. I knew the manicure was not going to be a pleasant experience when the manicurist repeatedly used her OWN DIRTY NAIL to scrape excess polish from underneath mine. However it only got worse from there. The manicurist sanded down my cuticles until they were BROKEN and BLOODY (see picture). The cuticles that were not broken were still left feeling very sensitive and sore. After the painful manicure was over I noticed black dots on some of the nails, so even when the cuticles heal I will still be left with a bad manicure. I highly recommend you spend your $45 elsewhere. read more

I stopped in for a pedicure. I didn't have an appointment but didn't have to wait. I have seriously ingrown toenails and have not been happy with the way others cut them. Leon took care of me and did a wonderful job. My feet feel so much better. The place was very clean. The chairs are lower than most so I could get in without difficulty. I will be coming back for sure. This was the best $55.00 I have spent. I would have given 5 stars but the menu is confusing and pricing isn't listed on it. I went to this nail salon yesterday as a walk in for a very specific service, I'll explain why. I have very narrow nails, when I was in cosmetology school I learned an older artificial nail technique that isn't used very much anymore...sculptured nails. I learned that this is much more effective for me personally, there is a small extra charge for it but it's worth it. My technicians name was Kim and she was meticulous, detail oriented and very talented. And to top it all off she was very personable. This salon is clean and comfortable.
