I've been going here for a while now for acrylics. Originally I wanted to try out different nail techs, results varied. Some of the girls (who I believe are no longer there) were pretty rough with my nails and rushed through the appointment like other reviews stated. HOWEVER I have been exclusively going to Andy who is always extremely gentle and shapes my nails to perfection. He takes his time to ensure they are exactly how I like them and are all even. He's always friendly and the girl working at desk next to him is also super sweet! She seems particularly good at nail art if that is what you are looking for! I had a walk-in for an acrylic fill with gel polish on a Thursday around 3:30pm. I waited about 10 minutes, which wasn't bad. I had Kevin as my nail tech -- very nice guy! He asked a few questions about myself and we just had some small talk. Overall the salon is quiet. Tons of color selections for regular polish, gel polish, and dip powders. Now for the service: Kevin was very meticulous. BUT, some of the jail lengths and shapes weren't as equal as other salons have done. Next, the e-file. I don't have sensitive skin and it was getting pretty hot. I nearly asked him to turn it down, but I roughed it out. Then he started using a regular file to shape my nails and he filed so hard, AND HE FILED MY SKIN. I have some brush burns and cuts around my nail beds. There are some other minor things, but it's not enough to tell unless you're staring and looking for imperfections. Overall, my nails look good, but the method was a bit questionable. I don't know of any other good salons in the area. Prices are typical, but I'm still deciding if I want to come back or not. read more

I used to go here, but each time I go, it gets worse. I agree that it is unfriendly, but it was convenient, so I overlooked it. Last night, the woman shaped my nails like short claws and asked if it was good. Of course, I said no, but who in their right mind would think that looks good. I had a gel mani & pedi here. very unfriendly atmosphere. no one said hello when walked in, even though I had an appointment. it was 4 men & 1 woman working & everyone looked too busy to smile or even look up. I needed gel polish removed and new gel polish applied because I had to miss an appointment at the salon I usually go to. My nails were filed down paper thin and within one day, one of my nails broke in the middle of my nail bed. The next day, the same thing happened. I called to make an appointment to get them fixed and indicated I didn't want the same technician. When I got there, my appointment was with the same person, they had to dip my nails, and they made me pay for it, giving me only $10 off. Within two days of getting a manicure, I was charged $70 for 2 services. That was a week ago and I already have two broken nails and one that is chipped. Through both experiences the technician was inattentive, watching soccer or checking his phone through both services. Very unprofessional and extremely poor quality. read more

I don't live anywhere near here but was visiting the area and wanted a quality mani/pedi so I saw high google reviews for here and made an appointment. I have honestly never been to a nail salon where the staff was so nice, welcoming and professional. Where I'm from, it seems your presence in any given salon is an inconvenience and heaven forbid you are the slightest bit picky about how you'd like your nails to look. If I could put ZERO STARS I would. My toes look like My 6 year old son did them. I originally asked for a gel French tip, and the woman kept persisting that I get color. I kept telling her that I wanted a thicker line and she was not listening. Finally after her not listening to me about the thickness I told her to just do a color. I got the deluxe pedicure for 85 dollars, And my cuticles are noticeably NOT cut. She also put a fake acrylic tip on my right toe but she failed to make it blend with my other toes, and it looks like it's a two week grown out tip. They look horrible. For a 85 dollar deluxe pedicure in Wexford, I am HIGHLY disappointed. I should of asked for my money back immediately but I just left and decided to write a review. Extremely shocked by my treatment at the salon last night. I had been using this salon for about one year without complaint. I decided to request one person I really liked in particular to do my nails but received embarrassing and awful treatment upon arrival. Not only did the woman, Anna embarrass me the minute I walked in, she started to argue and raise her voice to me when I tried to explain a mishap in scheduling due to other salon staff. I had made an appointment a few weeks in advance to work with this same woman. I had called that day to check the time before arriving. The man answering the phone said I was not on the schedule that day. I found it weird but decided I would try another day. Upon entering the salon this time, she loudly greeted me with saying " you never show up to any of your appointments". I had only made one appointment with this woman. When I tried to explain my side, she began to raise her voice yelling at me. After sitting there in silence while the salon staff laughed, I couldn't help but to cry. I cried for several minutes for something I didn't do. Luckily, the man that did do my nails was very kind. Extremely rude and unapologetic! A client should NEVER feel so uncomfortable enough to cry. I've never had this experience in all my life. I'm a loss for words. -Called the store to speak with the owner like the below message said and was lied to on who the owner was. A man named "D2" told me the owner was a man named Larry. He proceeded to give me a fake phone number. I knew he was lying because he kept stuttering to give me an answer anxiously. This place is over priced I went there a few times to give it a real shot every-time I have paid over 100$ for a full set of acrylic nails . The people don't make me feel very welcome and always seem so frustrated and when I ask them for a certain style of design. I understand if you get designs it cost more but don't tell me my nails cost like 10$ extra because they are like 2 cm longer my girl friend is a nail tech and she even says the price is a lot ! read more

What a train wreck. Here are the signs I saw but didn't heed. I hope you do. SIgn #1 Saturday mid-morning and there were six workers sitting around on their phone or tablets, no customers to work on (hint, nobody was cleaning). Sign #2 The front door was half-open/half-closed so inside it was not cool enough and no air conditioning was on. Very humid which when you're around a lot of acetone and products that have a strong odor is not ideal. Sign #3 The music was LOUD and weird. Lots of angry noises, I have no idea what it was but it was super unpleasant. SIgn #3 Now this is where it was a bit too late for me...if I saw this up front I'd have bolted. Hanging from the ceiling above a pedicure chair was....a fly strip. Yep. Read that again if you want. A fly strip. Hanging right from the ceiling. I was there for about 45 -60 minutes. Only 1 other customer came in and it seemed she was a regular. Everyone else sat the entire time doing nothing. The person working on me was yawning the entire time. I have multiple nails with weirdly shaped cuticles and others where she nipped me with the clipper. I know in Wexford there is a reputation for people here having unreasonable expectations from salons but this is beyond disgusting. Nobody should come here. Ever. read more

I've been going here for months now! I originally loved the place. However, this time was a little different. I decided to stick short and get my nails done with just a gel paint and a tip. I did my toes the same as well. I feel ripped off my design is not up to par and is smudging (which should not happen with gel!). I somehow paid 100 dollars. I received a gift card at the end of May in 2019. I had planned to used this at the end of March 2020 prior to our planned spring break but as we all know life was shut down. The gift card expired after a year. However, up until last week, after I received the vaccine, I did not feel comfortable going to a nail salon. I went today to see if they would honor the salon, given the current events of the past year. They would only honor 20 percent of the gift card. The man who put my acrylics on was really shaky and struggled to even glue them on. Then I was moved so someone could shape and put gel on them. HE SPENT AT LEAST 45 MINUTES FILING MY NAILS. He didn't even shape my nails right, they are different lengths, and they are also shapes different. I was still polite and tipped but this was ridiculous. I spent $60 plus tip and 2 hours of my time for my nails to look mediocre at best. I'm infuriated. read more

I went here for the first time on Saturday morning made an appointment as I had a coupon for this place. I just moved here from California so with the Beverly Hills name I figures it can't be bad. I had a pink and while fill, and a shelac pedicure. They came out great. My only complaint would be that it took 3 hours. I am not used to that. In California I was out in an hour usually. I think the guy I had Tony was new as he had to ask the other guy lots of quesitons. He did do a nice job, just hope next time it is faster. They are high priced as well, $90 for both, $75 in California. I don't understand why people keep telling me things are less expensive here. They are not. I will come back in two week and try the waxing as well. read more

As I waited 20 minutes for my manicure, I observed the dirt and dust on multiple surfaces. The laminate wood floor was filthy, especially under the nail work stations. Why didn't I get up and walk out then??? No, I stayed and was treated to the worst mani I've ever had. My older technician placed my hands to soak in cold water, and left to do other chores, came back and partially trimmed the cuticles on one hand and left again to do more chores, my hands again soaking in cold water, no cuticle softener/ remover used. Finally she came back, did a very poor job of trimming cuticles, didn't buff my nails and painted the nails. An hour for a terrible mani! On top of everything they raised their prices. Terrible salon service, won't be patronizing this salon again. Fortunately, there are many salon choices in this area. read more

I would rate them 0 if the app would allow it. This place is absolutely horrible. I am writing this as I sit in the parking lot because I am so aggravated. I just paid $66 for a pedicure and gel manicure and am totally dissatisfied. I should have taken the other bad reviews into account before coming here. They stained my $100 pair of sandals wile they were painting them and acted like he couldn't understand me when I asked what it was and if it would come off. DO NOT EVER GO HERE! He also was very rude shaking his head about something and talking in his language to the lady next to him. He actually acted like I was interrupting his day because I was there. In addition to that he left paint on the corners of every one of my nails. He is in the wrong business. read more

I'm actively sitting in this nail salon getting a pedicure and couldn't wait to give this place one star. I usually go to Skyline Nails a couple doors down but decided to try this place to see if I was missing anything (I wasn't). For starters it's not very clean and the guy doing my pedicure stank of cigarette smoke. Then during my pedicure he had to cough and didn't bother to try to cover his mouth and instead coughed straight on my legs. I'm also quite certain they gave me used toe separators. Sanitary standards are concerning. Is it legal to mix nail polish colors together? They obviously do since they have colors with as many as 10+ metal balls in a bottle when there are usually 1-2. Reusing foil they use to wrap around the fingers with acetone soaked paper towels to remove previous nails, gross! But the worst is their attitude and customer service. You snap at people to 'Pick a color!' Why have nails painted with colors for clients to chose from if you do not carry those colors? Or maybe they once did, and after mixing colors so many times, it no longer is what was originally? read more

The two best people they had were Mike and Linda. They left to start their own salon. Very frustrated because I got charged a different price for a pink and white fill at my previous appointment. (Which by the way my nails looked the worst they have ever looked.) I thought perhaps their prices had gone up. When I asked how much a pink and white fill was they said $40. I said why was I charged $45 last time? I got the same thing and did not have any broken nails. They would not give me a credit of five dollars yet I have been going there for years. Not very good customer service. When you are the owner you can make up prices. What's five dollars to keep a good customer? It definitely is not worth losing a customer over. read more

Disappointed! $35 for a gel manicure. Didn't take time to shape. Tips of nails were not filed smoothly. Color wasn't even and very old light to dry/set. I only get my nails done every couple of months but I won't be going back here. Only $6 for my daughters "mini manicure" with sparkles but I will try elsewhere next time. read more

The people in there are not friendly at all. They are basically there to just take your money. The service was horrible.
