Here's a polished 5-star Yelp review: Wexford Irish Pub was one of the highlights of our trip to Savannah! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, authentic, and welcoming. Our waitress, Pam, was absolutely outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience even better with her excellent service. The food was exceptional across the board. The Chicken Whiskey Shots were a fantastic appetizer, and the Fish & Chips were hands down the best we've had--crispy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The coleslaw deserves a special mention. With blue cheese and craisins, it was a unique combination and an easy 10/10. The Chicken Pub Pie was rich, creamy, and incredibly comforting. And if you're looking for lunch, the tomato bisque and grilled cheese is an absolute must-order. Every dish was excellent, the service was top-notch, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in Savannah. Highly recommend Wexford Irish Pub to anyone looking for outstanding Irish food and hospitality!

Local Irish pub with classic Irish dishes and a few that will surprise. They gave outside and inside seating. Service was very good, although the place was empty when dined there. Food was good. Large portions. The fish and chips are a must try. The vibe is a bar/ pub setting. Nothing fancy. Just good food and drinks

Just happened upon this place. Popped in for a drink before our river cruise. We sat at the bar. Pretty extensive cocktail and beer list. Service was attentive. Place was crowded and had some live music playing outside. Would definitely come again!

We went to the Wexford pub. There was no wait at the time and we were seated when we arrived. The customer service was great! Our server was very attentive although she was managing many tables. The pub has upstairs, downstairs and outdoor seating. We were in the downstairs dining area. We had the lamb sliders as an appetizer. The sliders were good by themselves, but I'm a sauce girly so the Savannah sweet and spicy sauce and the house-made ranch really tipped the scale for me with the sliders. I ordered the Salmon with Brussels and potatoes and my friend ordered the French toast with Bacon. The salmon, brussel sprouts and potatoes were cooked to perfection. I again used the Savannah Sweet and Spicy sauce to top the flavor! My friend's French toast was soft light and fluffy, but the bacon was overcooked. We ended the meal with the Bailey's cheesecake. The flavor was top-tier. I enjoyed everything about it. It was the right amount of chocolate and sweetness.! if you're in the area check out the Wexford pub!

Worst Shepherd's Pie I have ever had.

They get 5 stars for the fantastic staff. Both our server Emily and the bartender Andy were very kind and accommodating. They get -4 stars for the food. We ordered the shepherd's pie and it was by far the worst I have ever had. I make shepherd's pie at home and have had it at pubs all over the world. This one lacked flavor, the texture was atrocious (think thick starchy mush) and the presentation was terrible (no we did not mess with the potatoes it came that way). We asked for a side of gravy to see if it would salvage the dish, they brought us a small ramekin of "poutine" and charged us $3 for it. It was so disgusting we didn't even bother adding it to the pie. My partner and I were starving, ordered this to share and didn't even finish half (see photo). Come to Wexford for the drinks, the service, the location and if you catch the live music the vibes are on point. Just don't risk the food!!!

Wexford is a fantastic pub spot and a must-visit while in Savannah! The space spans two beautiful levels, complete with a great patio and live music to set the mood. The interior decor is incredibly charming and unique, filled with old library books, ship trinkets, and authentic artifacts that give it a wonderful, traditional feel. The staff here is exceptionally welcoming and attentive. They truly take the time to make conversation with every guest, offer great suggestions from the menu, and they were even thoughtful enough to ask if we were celebrating a special occasion! We only stopped in for drinks this time around, but the food looked absolutely amazing--and the staff will happily tell you all about the different awards their menu has won. It is certainly a great stop to add to your Savannah itinerary! I suggest the blood orange Paloma and Guinness espresso martini.

I was surprised with how many Irish pubs there are in Savannah. We were wanting to get lunch before our tour at the Prohibition Museum and Wexford just so happened to be right next door. We were told the portions were big so we opted to split an order of the fish n chips. They were not joking. Between the 2 of us, we were not able to finish the whole thing. I was wishing I had a bigger stomach because the food was that good. The best park shockingly was the Cole slaw. It had cranberries mixed in so it was on the sweeter side. Since it is in the middle of a tourist spot, the prices are a little steep but if you're sharing with someone, it's not that bad..

My man and I went on a Saturday evening about 6:30. Neither of us had been here, but I had seen a TikTok about it. We had the goat cheese appetizer. He has the disassembled Ruben and I had the corn beef and cabbage. All the food was quick, hot, and full of flavor. Afterwards, I tried the Irish Coffee. YUM! The place was warm, and inviting. Our waitress was very attentive. We cannot wait to go again.

My friends, wife and I came on a Friday evening around 5, and it wasn't all too busy. By the time we left at 7 though there were plenty of people so get here a bit ahead of peak hours if you want some faster service. The staff were very friendly, and the interior of the place was quite beautiful. Apparently the whole place was disassembled and brought over from Ireland! My wife and I ordered the Smash burger and fish and chips. The fish and chips were pretty good, but the burger was dry and a bit lack luster overall. The drinks though were fantastic, I'd definitely come back just for some more cocktails. Overall good experience, just wish the food was a bit better.

We always enjoy our time at Wexford's. This time we brought the little one and tried out their kids menu and explored more of what they have. Everything was delicious. The inside is lovely, and there plenty of seating. This place does get busy though! From a locals perspective, this is one of my favorite places in Savannah.

Enjoyed the Wexford so much we visited three times on our trip. Authentic Irish pub feel. Multiple levels with great staff. Live music on both levels. Fish and chips was awesome! Incredible variety of spirits and beer. Highly recommend!

They have a solid whiskey selection behind the bar if you were looking to do some pours or shots -- pours based on the bottle I saw. They also make some cool cocktails off the cuff. A touch methodical, but they were good, at least the ones my wife enjoyed. Like at every other bar in Savannah, per the ordinances, there is a door person who checks IDs, so make sure you have it. When I walked in, I was gazing around and then all of a sudden, a man appeared asking for ID. They usually have someone watching from the top of the stairs or from the level you enter, but they will check you so keep note if you're not used to bringing your ID with you (not sure why you wouldn't, but I digress).

Beautiful glass, marble, deep colors of navy, mauve, and gold. Service was wonderful, felt welcomed immediately. For my appetizer, I had the crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, which was a light, bright way to start the evening. For my entree, I had the filet mignon. The server will tell you, the menu says tapas, but the servings are larger than that. Meat portions are generous at 6 oz. My only complaint is that I ordered my steak medium and got closer to well done. At least the steak was still moist and not dried out, but I would be hesitant to do the steak again. The spinach risotto I had with it was creamy and cheesy, however, so that was nice. Other options for food include burrata, a charcuterie board, grilled shrimp, sea bass, salmon, scallops. The cocktails are the real star here. They fall under the categories "strong and adventurous," light fare," and "signature." Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available. I started with the medusa 1597, under "strong and adventurous." Made with Old Tom Gin, extra dry vermouth, truffle, grapefruit, and amaro, it was extremely strong. A bold, slow sipper I would have done better to have later in the evening, but I still appreciate the complexity of it. I also had the Bella primavera, a lighter cocktail under the signature section. Made with pisco, blanc vermouth, French herbal liqueur, watermelon, and basil leaf. A smoother, brighter, faster sip than the Medusa. And I also had the blood orange martini, made with French vodka, blood orange, lime, and cranberry. A little sweet, but not cloying, and again, would have been a better starter as opposed to a closer. I think when I return, I will ask the bartender to make me off the menu drinks. This place seems creative enough that the outcome would be fantastic. I loved this place. The vibe, the view, the service, the offerings. Can't wait to see what more they have in store.

Naturally, I pulled up Yelp and found this place, which had great reviews. We decided to venture away from the area we had been exploring and walked across the street, only to find ourselves staring at a Chinese restaurant with absolutely no indication of where the sushi restaurant was located. We walked all the way to the right thinking we must have missed it, but still nothing. Then, almost by accident, we looked down an alleyway and there it was--hidden in plain sight. By this point, I was extremely hungry and definitely not in the mood for a game of hide-and-seek. After climbing a flight of stairs, we entered a very dark and intimate space with a small bar area. We usually prefer sitting at the bar, but there weren't any available seats, so the hostess seated us at a tiny round table that felt more like something you'd find in a café. The atmosphere was definitely giving romantic date-night vibes. We ordered two specialty sushi rolls. One was a mango roll, and the other had me sold the moment I saw the word truffle as a special. The truffle roll was easily my favorite, although both were delicious. I also ordered a passion fruit cocktail, which I'd rate a solid 9 out of 10. I don't normally go for sweet drinks, but when on Rome, why not? This was not overly sweet but still one and done for me. Since we were only in town for one night and wanted to experience as many places as possible, we stuck with the two rolls and drinks before heading back out to continue exploring. Overall, this place is incredibly cute, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for a date night. My only complaint is how difficult it was to find. If you're starving like I was, wandering around searching for the entrance might test your patience. Once you finally find it, though, it's worth the effort.
