This is probably my fave restaurant in Savannah. I love everything about it - the drinks, the food, the service and the ambiance are great. The menu is unique and there's something for everyone- seafood, steak, game, veggies. The Ping menu section is awesome if you want to try something without committing to a whole dish and the prices are great. I tried Ping octopus and the duck - both great. Make a reservation and go enjoy yourself - you won't regret it.

Great wine & cocktails to go along with nice music and ambience. The food is fantastic and beautifully prepared. If you are looking for a special evening this is your place. There is metered parking and garage parking nearby too.

Delicious spot for some fresh seafood in Savannah! Chive Sea Bar is located right on Broughton Street, super close to shopping and sightseeing. I recommend snagging a reservation to guarantee a spot. The bar filled up quickly with walk ins. The service was phenomenal! Really felt like an upscale experience. The Chive Mussels were some of the tastiest mussels I've ever had. The yellow curry sauce was beautiful. I wish I had even more bread to sop it all up with! The striped bass entree was also delicious. I loved the red curry sauce with the creamy orzo.

My wife and I had wanted to try this restaurant for several years and finally did on this trip to Savannah-we will definitely come back again! Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful with making suggestions on the menu. We started with cocktails, a blood orange martini and a Bouvedere-both were excellent. Their cold bar menu was great - I enjoyed oysters and tuna ceviche for my meal. My wife hade the lobster risotto which she totally enjoyed. Everyone around us had different meals and all said they really enjoyed them. The seating was comfortable and it was not too loud, we really enjoyed it!

We walked into Chive for lunch and agreed this was the best meal we've had in a while. We ordered two drinks and the snapper for lunch and it was delicious. Bar seating was great & it was a fun but peaceful atmosphere. What made the experience even more special was our server, he was extremely friendly and kind. Would love to come back to this place!

You enter and immediately get a great vibe - tables on the side with curtains between tables, center bar, a warm reception from the Chive team. We tried a tasty blood orange martini to start. For appetizers, the she crab soup was *amazing* (lots of crab, rich taste) and the Japanese mushroom salad was exceptional. The miso marinated duck breast was wonderful - that red curry is a great add. The halibut with red curry sauce was over the top tasty. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive.

Revisited, one of my favorite spots in Savannah... Chive, sea bar, and lounge. The results were good, just not as great as usual. We sat at the bar, which is absolutely gorgeous. The bartender was friendly, mixed a great drink, and very helpful in making a selection from their craft cocktail menu. We also shared one of the specialty salads which had mango, strawberry, pecans, as well as the lettuce and vegetables. The ginger dressing was the star of the night! This was a delicious dish. The muscles, were a little bit disappointing, and things just didn't come together in a cohesive fashion. Maybe it was me, but I expected just a little bit more from my previous experiences here. This has always been one of the better restaurants in town, and still is. Just had the one slightly disappointing dish, which brought the overall rating down to four stars. If I had a 4 1/2 star option, I would've very quickly clicked on that. This is a beautiful spot for date night. Definitely recommend chive!

We dined here on a Sunday night with family & greatly enjoyed it. We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation & our waitress came over to greet us quickly. She was very attentive the entire night & offered great recommendations. The food was great! I ordered the sea bass and it was cooked to perfection. My husband and I are already wanting to come back!

We celebrated our anniversary here while in Savannah. One of the best restaurants we have experienced in a long time. The only downside is trying to find a parking spot in downtown Savannah. We were seated right away and met our welcoming server John. We told him it was anniversary and he immediately got me champagne and my wife a mimosa. Very engaging server who provided fantastic service throughout the meal. Started with the she crab soup we split. The soup was fantastic. Had a nice taste of sherry with plenty of crab. I ordered the dinner sea bass with risotto and my wife the lunch pan fried red fish on risotto. Her lunch portion was a fantastic deal. My fish was cooked perfectly and the fish had a wonderful taste. My wife loved her red fish. The place has a nice bar area and seating around the wall. Thanks to Chive for making our anniversary luncheon special.

O'shay is the BEST server!!! He is attentive, joyful and outright amazing. Last night, we celebrated a friends birthday and we were delighted to have amazing service with equally delicious food. His suggestions were on perfect. We tried the stuffed wings with blue crab, chive mussels, lamb chops, she crab soup, and the Chilean sea bass. I can't stop thinking about the mussels and the yellow curry brith with fennel and garlic. It was so delicious. I wanted to grab the bowl and drink all the sauce but I wasn't at home so I had to leave it, but we did order more bread so we could suck as much as we could. The Chilean Sea Bass topped with red curry sauce and served on top of risotto was equally delicious. The fish was flaky, perfectly cooked and paired well with the red curry sauce. Although I did not personally try the soup or the lamb chops they were a hit as everyone left with empty plates. I forgot to mention the stuffed wings. Well they were delicious. The appetizer comes with 1 wing that we shared. Yes shared. It's stuffed with blue crab meat and I believe grilled with a slightly smoky flavor. A must try appetizer. I can't forget the carrots and cucumber salad on the side in a sweet and spicy rice vinegar sauce was also yummy. If you are looking for a great meal, swanky environment for a date night or a girlfriend's night out. This is a great spot.

Spontaneous dinner either friends while downtown, got in just as they opened. We didn't have a reservation, no table available but we could sit at the bar. Great choice, the bar staff was super and entertaining. We got to ask all the questions about mocktails and cocktails they offered. Food took a little while to arrive, I choose the carpaccio and was not a fan, it was definitely sliced not shaven, too thick for my liking. The others in my party enjoyed their meals. With many other restaurants in Savannah, this is a one & done for me.

This is my second visit to Chive, and I've been thinking about it since my last trip to Savannah. The drinks, food, and service were all top-notch. Chive will have to be a regular stop on all of my future Savannah trips!

During my recent visit, we had our 1 yr old son with us and decided to have dinner there and enjoy the weather. I had the Valencian Spritz (reposado, orange aperitif wine, fresh orange, white pepper, and cava) which was the perfect summer drink. My husband had the Soft Light mocktail (zero proof gin, papaya, kefir, and saline). For food, we started with the Labneh dip topped with olive oil, za'atar, and honey with fresh pitas on the side. Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah!

Beautiful glass, marble, deep colors of navy, mauve, and gold. Service was wonderful, felt welcomed immediately. For my appetizer, I had the crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, which was a light, bright way to start the evening. For my entree, I had the filet mignon. The server will tell you, the menu says tapas, but the servings are larger than that. Meat portions are generous at 6 oz. My only complaint is that I ordered my steak medium and got closer to well done. At least the steak was still moist and not dried out, but I would be hesitant to do the steak again. The spinach risotto I had with it was creamy and cheesy, however, so that was nice. Other options for food include burrata, a charcuterie board, grilled shrimp, sea bass, salmon, scallops. The cocktails are the real star here. They fall under the categories "strong and adventurous," light fare," and "signature." Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available. I started with the medusa 1597, under "strong and adventurous." Made with Old Tom Gin, extra dry vermouth, truffle, grapefruit, and amaro, it was extremely strong. A bold, slow sipper I would have done better to have later in the evening, but I still appreciate the complexity of it. I also had the Bella primavera, a lighter cocktail under the signature section. Made with pisco, blanc vermouth, French herbal liqueur, watermelon, and basil leaf. A smoother, brighter, faster sip than the Medusa. And I also had the blood orange martini, made with French vodka, blood orange, lime, and cranberry. A little sweet, but not cloying, and again, would have been a better starter as opposed to a closer. I think when I return, I will ask the bartender to make me off the menu drinks. This place seems creative enough that the outcome would be fantastic. I loved this place. The vibe, the view, the service, the offerings. Can't wait to see what more they have in store.
