    Whiskey sidecar
    Kenzey M.

Megan was our bartender and she was awesome. We got a rhubarb cocktail & whiskey sidecar. She took her time and made the drink with skill. Very social and remembered her regular customers. She said she's been here for 6 years and was happy to answer our questions. I want to come back for their grilled cheese. Come by and grab a cocktail. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean restaurant and very welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Megan is the absolute best! Bartender but took care of my four legged buddy Dax! I will be back Megan! Keep being your awesome self!

It was just ok... nothing spectacular, but wasn't horrible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small place and the ambiance is nice and quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was ok.

Yumm! Great bartender/waitress! Excellent grilled cheeses! We had the classic 3 cheese ham and Swiss with mustard and the chicken pesto omg all so good although I'd get the fancier ones over the classic! It's a small place with 65 bourbons available. Reasonable prices and we will be back!

The gourmet grill cheese was small and I expected more. I have had gourmet grilled cheese before but it was nothing like this. I ordered a salmon dill grilled cheese. The sourdough was crisp, the salmon was a bit dry and very bland, and topped with brie and avocado. I think I needed garlic salt, mayo or mustard would have helped the taste. I had a frozen whiskey sour it was tasty not strong at all and a part of the drink special. Then I got a whiskey and ginger ale. The bar area/room was inviting and the server was very kind. As a guest of the hotel attached to this place I would return to the hotel but I don't know about the bar for food maybe just drinks.

    Happy hour!

Well when you try to order: Frozen whiskey sour Brut Brut Rose Prosecco Champagne And they don't have any on a Tuesday because "busy weekend" it kind of makes you feel like a weekday customer doesn't matter? The suggestion was go to to the hotel to get sparkling BUT can't bring it back to the bar...well no that doesn't work because we wanted to hang out! What WAS fun was music bingo! My cousin won! We did get Hand cut fries with a zesty Siracha mayo...YUM! Not sure if we will come back but that's the skinny

The Bacon, Maple and Gouda Sandwich

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great flavor, beautiful space to dine in, nice enough waitress, the only issue was the food, which looks nothing like the photos.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The sandwich I received had a great flavor, but it was very small and thin, and instead of a side of chips, I got a side of crumbs. I definitely expected more for a $13 meal.

Enjoyed this unassuming small bar/restaurant attached to our hotel. My husband had been here before and liked it. My family loves grilled cheese. If you're a grilled cheese enthusiast you will enjoy the creative combos. Artisan grilled cheeses. Not a generous size sandwich, but delicious! I had the Goatty which has goat cheese, fried beets (this was a risk..never had before), walnuts. Sooo yummy! The sweet potato tots are are great starter but the portion is really small if you're sharing. That's my only knock is the portions. Small. Soups are delicious. Highly reccomend tomato. Great variety of bourbons. Good selection local beers. Our server was cordial & quick. Friday night they had a great acoustic guitar guy singing. Really enjoyed. Will be back for drinks this trip for sure.

A few more and I will be...

Walking around late in Savannah and this place was open and the vibe just said Hey Come in and get *Toasted* so we did. First thing ..I ordered a old fashion with their house whiskey..Four Rose's. Than we picked items from the menu.. for me it was a Chicken Melt. It had pesto and came with sweet potato chips. It was a winner for sure.the atmosphere was dark but cool with touches of design elements such as the ceiling paintings and lamps. The bar was in the rear while seating was around the middle and sides and a few on the outdoor entry. Cushions had touches of leather with metal bullets..nice details..they also had a great picture logo wall for selfies. Everyone was very friendly and we left very Happy and satisfied..

It's located on top of The Alida hotel (also one of my fave boutique hotels) in the historic River Street district. I've had the chance to visit The Lost Square both during the winter and this past week during the summer. They have a great view of the river and cozy lounge seating, as well as a full bar. The first time I visited was near Christmas and it was freezing outside, but they had a burning fireplace and the cutest little enclosed glass houses you could sit in to enjoy your drinks. During my recent visit, we had our 1 yr old son with us and decided to have dinner there and enjoy the weather. I had the Valencian Spritz (reposado, orange aperitif wine, fresh orange, white pepper, and cava) which was the perfect summer drink. My husband had the Soft Light mocktail (zero proof gin, papaya, kefir, and saline). For food, we started with the Labneh dip topped with olive oil, za'atar, and honey with fresh pitas on the side. Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah!

Beautiful glass, marble, deep colors of navy, mauve, and gold. Service was wonderful, felt welcomed immediately. For my appetizer, I had the crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, which was a light, bright way to start the evening. For my entree, I had the filet mignon. The server will tell you, the menu says tapas, but the servings are larger than that. Meat portions are generous at 6 oz. My only complaint is that I ordered my steak medium and got closer to well done. At least the steak was still moist and not dried out, but I would be hesitant to do the steak again. The spinach risotto I had with it was creamy and cheesy, however, so that was nice. Other options for food include burrata, a charcuterie board, grilled shrimp, sea bass, salmon, scallops. The cocktails are the real star here. They fall under the categories "strong and adventurous," light fare," and "signature." Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available. I started with the medusa 1597, under "strong and adventurous." Made with Old Tom Gin, extra dry vermouth, truffle, grapefruit, and amaro, it was extremely strong. A bold, slow sipper I would have done better to have later in the evening, but I still appreciate the complexity of it. I also had the Bella primavera, a lighter cocktail under the signature section. Made with pisco, blanc vermouth, French herbal liqueur, watermelon, and basil leaf. A smoother, brighter, faster sip than the Medusa. And I also had the blood orange martini, made with French vodka, blood orange, lime, and cranberry. A little sweet, but not cloying, and again, would have been a better starter as opposed to a closer. I think when I return, I will ask the bartender to make me off the menu drinks. This place seems creative enough that the outcome would be fantastic. I loved this place. The vibe, the view, the service, the offerings. Can't wait to see what more they have in store.

The brunch menu is fairly…read moreextensive, so we had some difficulty choosing what to order....but definitely come hungry because the portions are large and the food is pretty rich. To share amongst the table, we ordered the cinnamon toast banane and crispy gouda grit croquettes. Thumbs up on both, particularly the croquettes which were the right balance of gooey and structured enough to eat with the delicious sauce on the side. The cinnamon toast banane was not so much toast as cinnamon rolls with bananas foster; the cinnamon rolls were really tasty and the bananas foster was good, though the bourbon flavor was strong. For my entree, I ordered one of the lighter vegetarian dishes - the mushroom tartine with tomato soup. I think it is one of the lighter dishes - certainly lighter than what my dining companions ordered - but it was still quite rich with a fair amount of gouda fondue in the tomato bisque soup. The mushroom tartine/sandwich was really flavorful with the pesto, cheese and tons of mushrooms. The restaurant is quite large with an upstairs seating area.
