Liz and her team thought of everything, and having them share about preparation and ingredients...just an awesome experience! From the variety of fresh salsa, to the beans, rice, and of course tamales- it was perfection! I tried it all, and the roasted corn salsa and pineapple salsa were absolutely scrumptious! The flavors and textures complemented one another beautifully, and they even offered a variety of tamales. I was so pleased to have enjoyed spinach artichoke tamales, a vegan option. They craft their menu items with such care and utilize fresh ingredients. You can actually taste the freshness- no joke! Even though it was served catering style, their care when serving and prep work for Aqua Fresca beverages was so consistent and appreciated. You indulge with your eyes first, and CDT did not disappoint. The servings were ample, and it all included high quality ingredients. I whole-heartedly recommend Casa De Tamales (CDT)!

I always get the same thing but they are my favorite. The cauliflower tacos and the habanero pesto fries. Really good. Just to write about them makes my mouth watering. They do offer carnitas and barbacoa tacos as well. They are j own for their 5 star tamales. They always make them fresh and as per order. If you can you should go pay them a visit. The food it top!! The cauliflower tacos are fried but they are never greasy. They are tasty. The pesto fries are so delicious and spicy. I always ask for extra pesto sauce because it is really good. They also offered margaritas and signature drinks. I highly recommended.

When I tell you that if you're in the area, you NEED to eat at this restaurant, I mean it. It's…read morevery casual dining -- you order at the front and they bring the food out to your table -- but everything is farm-to-table, and the food was so fresh and delicious. Everything came out super fast, and me and my friends ended up splitting a bunch of different items so we could try more of the menu. We started with the buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer, which was honestly the only slightly disappointing thing we had. It just felt like it could have used a little more sauce and flavor. We also shared a spring salad that was super fresh, flavorful, and really good as well. For our meals, we both got the Mediterranean chicken plates. I had the strawberries as one of my sides along with the rigatoni, which the employee taking my order actually recommended to me. He was so kind and helpful since it was my first time there, and his recommendations were spot on. We also got Greek frozen yogurt for dessert. I ordered the "Go Bananas," and it was absolutely delicious, although sadly I didn't get a picture of it before eating it. Overall, this place was phenomenal. We honestly considered going back again during our short three-day trip because we enjoyed it that much, but we just didn't end up finding the time.

Staff were able to get us a table right away as well because we chose to sit outside. Although it was hot that day, they have a giant fan and misters outside. The food was delicious. I got the blue burger and garlic fries. I really liked the potato buns and burger patty. The buns were toasted perfectly and the patty had flavor. The garlic fries were great and had a lot of flavor, but I myself prefer fresh chopped garlic instead of fried garlic. My bf ordered the tri tip sandwich, which we were pleasantly surprised that it was tri tip within a burger instead of just a tri tip sandwich. My friends liked their food as they ordered the combo plates and there were a lot of different food options.

I wanted to provide an update about this popular Chinese restaurant, especially for those who…read moreremain big fans of their vegetable and vegan dishes. The original owner and manager passed away over a year ago, and the restaurant is now under new ownership and management. Fortunately, the food quality, preparation, and recipes remain the same. They retained the cook who prepares their delicious Cantonese and Mandarin dishes, and the new manager communicates much more easily in English. They have also added new photos of their popular dishes and signature vegan entrées. Little Peking remains my favorite spot for Mongolian Beef. The beef is incredibly tender--melt-in-your-mouth delicious with lightly caramelized edges--flash-fried in a thick, glossy soy-ginger sauce. It is generously paired with flash-wilted, vibrant green onions. Many Chinese restaurants in Fresno add carrots, white onions, peppers, and mushrooms to their versions of this dish, but those are not the core ingredients. Sometimes, less really is more.

Everything was fantastically hot (Except the wonton, which was only room temperature), even after arriving home with it 20 minutes later, but unfortunately, was all tasteless. Even the Szechuan beef was so flat that I had to add my own oyster sauce and soy sauce. It didn't help a lot, but at least it was better. Everyone was polite and professional. I wanted to like this place, but the food was very disappointing. Don't recommend.
