Plant Slayer has become one of my favorite spots since moving to Fresno from Cleveland and I genuinely look forward to every visit. I constantly crave the cold cut sandwiches and my sweetie is obsessed with the burgers. And neither of us is leaving without a corn dog. Non-negotiable. They also did a special Valentine's Day dinner that was fully coursed out with table service and it was one of my favorite experiences since moving here. So thoughtful and so well done. I really hope they do something like that again. What really keeps me coming back though is knowing this place actually cares about the community. I wasn't expecting this! I was going to anther establishment. I walked in and looked at the menu, I really wanted to try it, but I also wanted to try the raw! It's my last day in town. I walked to the other spot, and decided I would take that one to go, since it's raw. I order the Chicken and Bacon sandwich. The young lady said, it was made from wheat gluten. She said they don't make it in house, they order it from a vendor. I've never had that before, although I've been wanting to make some, so cool. The bacon was the best vegan bacon I've had (I don't have a lot to compare it to) but it was crispy and taste pretty good. The chicken, it looked like chicken when you bite into it, it didn't taste exactly like chicken, but that's most items prepared like the meats we are use to eating. My sister came from out of town and she is vegan. She loves their chicken sandwiches. She ordered right at the screen they have at the counter. There is a young girl prepping the food inside. So there I no one greeting you at the entrance. Once the order is done she brings it to the counter and we picked it up. The chicken burgers are fried and they have lettuce and some caramelized onions. It also had some vegan cheese. They were prep in decent time. They didn't take that long even though she was by herself. My sister really love them. Also she ordered animal fries and more sandwiches to take to her family. Since we have started our gluten and dairy free journey, we have missed eating out at fast food restaurants. Plant Slayer is fully vegan. We were so impressed! They have a large menu with a variety of items. They also let you choose between a Beyond or Impossible patty for your burger. You order yourself on an iPad which was pretty cool. We got the Mac burger that was we had them wrap in lettuce. This was my favorite! The patty was so flavorful, the sauce was amazing, and the cheese melted nicely. I have been craving In N Out animal fries, so naturally I had to order the vegan version. They were so good and I couldn't tell the difference. We finally were able to check this place out, we aren't vegan but have heard great things and wanted to try it. It's got a good location with its own parking lot, so that's great for downtown. There is a cute little patio area and a resident orange cat (very sweet!). The food is made fresh to order and they are very efficient. The food is tasty and very filling, I couldn't even finish all of my food (but I did eat almost all the campfire fries). We definitely will be back to try more of their menu! read more

Great brunch! The breakfast sandwich is very good with a very soft English muffin and the French toast sticks are sooo good! Loved it!

I go here every few weeks since it's close to work. I order ahead and it's always ready by the time I get there to pick up. It's difficult to find tasty vegetarian/vegan options, but this place is amazing. They started selling a meatball sub that's to die for. Plant Slayer now has a brick and mortar location in the Galleria. Vegan food, served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Because they have just opened, the menu and supplies are being adjusted on a daily basis. I would recommend that you give them a good measure of grace as they get comfortable in the new digs and into a routine. The burgers and fries are delicious. Be specific when you order. I neglected to order lettuce on my burger, and there was none. But my husband's different styled burger had lettuce. The Thousand Island dressing is also good to order. I tried the "chicken" wings. The texture is very much like chicken, but the flavoring wasn't to my liking. Not bad, just not something I would order again. Rootbeer is as close to soda as you will get here. There are a variety of tasty iced teas, though. Ice cream is on the menu but right now there's just vanilla. More flavors and toppings are coming, though. It is a delightfully creamy treat, and, if like me you are lactose intolerant, this is an excellent substitute. The room is noisy when full, and the music is loud. There are tables for plenty of people with a counter for four at the window to watch those coming and going in the Galleria. Cashless. One of my all-time favorites for vegan comfort food! My go to has to be the buffalo wings with the ranch sauce. They are saucy & cooked to perfection. The other item would be a regular cheeseburger with extra pickles & upgrading the fries to animal style fries. Everything comes out tasting great! They have so many other items on the menu to choose from. Burgers, sandwiches, corn dogs, wings, pretzels, tater tots, salads, wraps & brunch items. The loaded breakfast sandwich is my top pick, but anything & everything is good here. The fish filet sandwich is also one to try as well. Great flavors. Service is great. They greet you when you walk in. A lot of natural lighting. Open concept & spacious. Plenty of space to eat inside or outside. When you go to the counter to order you get to put in your own order which helps me because I can be indecisive sometimes and so it gives me time to look over my options with no pressure. They do fun things during the holidays as well. Like pictures with Santa & the Easter bunny. They did a toy drive this past Christmas & last Christmas for the foster children at Angels of Grace Foster Family. Love that they do things like that as well. Wow, just wow. We *finally* had a chance to try Plant Slayer at their new store front. It is nice and clean and modern, and use of recycling and composting receptacles. When you enter, the ordering counter is across the room at the other end of the south wall. A large digital rotating copy of the menu is placed to the right of that. I noted later that copies of the menu were also placed near the entry doors. We ordered the ABC burger, chicken sandwich and corn dog, each item came with fries. The fries. Normally fries are a throwaway for me; McDonald's we're the only thing worth anything and those changed for the worse, at least locally. Anyway, these tasted like the McDonald's fries I loved, delicious! My husband upgraded his fries to the Buffalo sauce with onions and whatever other goodness. There was another option, I forget. But, I wish I would have upgraded my fries too - they were just so good. My whole meal, I kept wishing I had gotten the yummy toppings on my fries. So anyway, I had the corn dog because I love corn dogs and I wasn't that hungry. This so reminded me of the corn dogs of my childhood when we would get them at carnivals and Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. It was so crunchy even though it was ample thickness. The meat looked like a smaller sausage not a weiner. The taste was right so I really didn't care. I will note that this is a smaller size corn dog so if you're really hungry, get two. If you get upgraded fries with cheese and onions and sauce, take that into consideration as well. {hint, you need those fries in your life}. My husband loved his avocado bacon cheeseburger, but noted the avocado made the sandwich slide. He managed to finish it all so not sure it caused any actual problems haha. I think he was given the option of Impossible burger patty or vegan and he chose impossible. In the past, I've had their handcrafted vegan burger patty and drooled. It was 102 degrees and a sign stated that they could not afford A/C but that they would be offering free "ice water". Luke warm water. Service was self serve kiosk style ordering. Getting the staff to answer questions or help was impossible. Prices high, decor lightly amusing (12 ft skeleton). Cute patio Fries were the best thing. Vegan chkn sandwich bland in the extreme. My favorite place to eat in town, and has been ever since they first started their food truck. This type of vegan food has been revolutionary for Fresno and Plant Slayer took the next step to opening their restaurant. Their food is amazing, and has continued to improve since they first opened the truck. The owners are super kind, environment is fun, music played at the shop is awesome and metal/rock n roll centered. Their breakfast sandwiches are always so good and are so rewarding for vegans especially because there isn't many vegan breakfast options for dining out in town. For their everyday lunch/dinner menu - my favorite item is a spicy chicken sandwich + bacon. For their specials my favorite is the BBQ steak sandwich. That's probably my favorite sandwich ever. I just want to say that I am not vegan but am interested in making healthier food choices so I came here to check out their max burger. One bite and I knew this was the BEST BURGER EVER. I cannot tell that this doesn't have meat or real cheese it is so bomb. What also was amazing was the animal fries. Holy moly, this is WAY better than In-n-out. Reasonable prices for such bomb food. I am coming back here since the front cashier lady was so sweet and offered us a loyalty card. 10/10. Love Plant Slayer! Either chicken or hamburgers you can't go wrong! All their burgers are delicious. Their staff is friendly and very helpful. Any questions you have they can answer. Location is great during the weekends since it's downtown there is hardly any traffic! We go there and eat at least once a week. That's how good they are!
