Being allergic to eggs this place was heaven for me. I didn't have to worry about anything containing eggs and had complete freedom to order anything without fear. I went with my wife and son and we all got hamburgers. They were delicious. I only asked for one, but I felt like eating two more. My 5 yr old even asked for another one. I plan on visiting every time I'm in Fresno. I wished they were in Visalia. I would go every day. I asked for extra jalapeños on mine. Even the sodas are vegan! The guy that helped us was very nice and respectful. He was very welcomingand accommodating, which is what makes me return to places.
We recently visited Dog House where Planet Vegan was offering vegan food options. I always appreciate having plant-based choices available, and I'm glad they're creating space for that. That said, this experience just wasn't my favorite. I asked to make a small modification to my sandwich and requested a bit of extra sauce, and unfortunately I felt called out and slightly shamed for it in front of other customers. It was uncomfortable and honestly a little embarrassing. As a paying customer, I think it's reasonable to customize your food to your liking without feeling judged. Flavor-wise, the food was tasty, but it just didn't quite win me over. I can appreciate the concept, but for me personally, I tend to prefer traditional protein options. I'm always open to trying new things, but based on this visit, I'm not sure this would be my first choice next time.
I've always heard great things about Planet Vegan but had never personally been and now I can confidently say I was seriously missing out! They helped host an event I attended and had their food truck set up in the parking lot, which was such a fun touch. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food came out hot and fresh, and everything was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Saturn Burger along with a side of waffle fries, and WOW!! I couldn't even tell the burger was vegan and how they got the "cheese" to cheese, I couldn't even tell you! The burger was juicy, flavorful and completely satisfying. That onion ring on it *chef's kiss* I had to ask if they just had an order of onion rings on the side, too good! And the waffle fries *dies*? OMG. Perfectly crispy, piping hot and dangerously good. If I had any room left, I would have gone back for more, but I was so full! I'm officially a fan and can't wait to try more items from their menu. I'll definitely be stopping by their brick and mortar location soon.

I wasn't sure if I was gonna like the food because I figured I would totally be able to tell it was not real meat. I ordered a Jupiter burger with a side of sweet potato fries and the garlic aïoli, everything was so good so so good. I would not know that it was not real bacon or cheese being used. The bacon was crunchy and the cheese was cheesy. It was so good. That burger has a whole was really good. There was so many other things on the menu that I want to try I will 100% be going into the restaurant to try other items. Even though there was a big group of us, this service was pretty fast. The food came out hot and fresh. No matter how hectic the ordering was because of the amount of people everyone working the food truck was so calm and collected and knew exactly what they were doing. I had a really great experience.
This is comfort food for sure! No meat? Where? Want to try some amazing vegan food this place has it! The burger tasts so smokey and grilled to perfection, add all those great toppings and the MANGO HABENERO AIOLI is so good just grab two of those. All the food was made by two gentlemen who were moving fast to make so many orders. Everything came up quickly, fresh and hot. I shared this experience with my bestie so of course we tried each other's foods. This isn't my first time trying a food item here the first time I tried the breakfast sandwich and it was very well made and so delicious. Try something new. The food truck is available for events if you need some great vegan comfort food for your guests.
I was at a yelp event at an Irish pub and I was happy to see they had planet vegan food truck as food of choice to try. This would be my second time having them. I wanted to try a different burger this time. I went with Jupiter love. Got a side of sweet potato fries with it and jalapeño garlic aioli. Food came out nice and hot. Fries were crisp. It went well with the sauce. I got to try their mango habanero sauce from my friend. I liked it too. It wasn't that spicy tho. The burger was delicious. I was surprised by the bacon the most! It strangely tasted like bacon but reminded me of a turkey bacon texture. I wonder if it's made from a carrot? I'm not sure but it go good altogether. My friend called it facon (faken). Lmao! Burger was nice and juicy. I'd order that again!
This review is for the food truck. 5 stars. 10 stars all of it! I got the single burger with sweet potato fries and a side of jalapeño aioli. Burger so good you wouldn't even know it was vegan. But you have to get the jalapeno aioli, I found myself dipping the whole burger in the aioli. I can put this sauce on everything. Also got galaxy fries which were also so yummy ! Customer service was great, the person taking my order was helpful and friendly. Food didn't take too long either
After a long drive, my wife and I were looking for something that we could finish the day with on a good note. We came across this restaurant and we were not disappointed. From the first interaction with the staff, we knew that we were in a good place. The menu is clean and clear and not cluttered with way too many options. I specifically appreciate the fact that the staff knew the options offhand which makes it easier and less anxious for someone like me looking at a menu with too many options. After ordering, our food was cooked fairly quickly which was good for us because we were hungry. All the food came out hot, crispy, and ready to be devoured. My wife and I did not realize that there was so much food and so that's a good thing for someone who is really hungry looking to be filled with some good plant-based food. We ordered the sampler platter, six piece chicken tenders, galaxy fries, and a drink. The waffle fries were cooked nice and crispy and seasoned well. I loved the onion rings and I wish I would've gotten more. The mozzarella sticks were something new for me. I was surprised at how gooey they were for something that is plant based! The dipping sauces were on point and my favorite ones were the barbecue sauce, and the garlic aïoli sauce. There was one sauce that was given to us that was way more spicy than we expected so if you are coming here for the first time and you're looking for something spicy, I would say to try it out before you fully commit to it otherwise you may end up with the food sweats The slider was small but juicy and packed a punch. It was as if you took two bites out of a regular sized burger and put it into the small sandwich. The chicken tenders were good but I would've personally liked more protein with a softer fry on the surface. They were indeed crunchy but I would have liked more tenders than batter. Finally, the galaxy fries was probably the biggest hit. It was an amazing mix of ingredients with the waffle cut fries, plant-based protein, the toppings that came with it-it was exactly what we needed. I love that they had the soda machine that was not regular soda but cleaner soft drinks that tasted just as good if not better. The food was amazing and we ended up having to take some home because we couldn't finish it in one. On a personal note, I really appreciated how the Chef was in back not just doing his job in cooking but I loved the 90s and early 2000s playlist he was playing. I also appreciate the different hip-hop lyrics that were painted around the diner. This place is definitely a place for everyone to enjoy whether you are a plant-based eater or not. For those who do not eat plant-based, I think you would be pleasantly surprised at how good the food is and how filling it can be. Thank you for this wonderful experience and we will definitely be passing through again whenever we are here in the central valley.
So we went to an event with Bog Pub they had planet vegan food truck out in the front. Their food truck is nicely done with a planet emblem on the truck. The owner was very pleasant and friendly. The ambiance was very nice big line with the event. When it was time to order, he did his best with his staff to serve us efficiently and quickly. I ordered the Jupiter burger with sweet potato fries and a side of aïoli. It was very delicious. I've had vegan burgers before, but this one was top notch. Sweet potato fries are very crispy and aïoli sauce was yummy. My husband had Saturn burger and he is not vegan or veggie burger person and loves Carl's Western Bacon burger and he was so impressed that he said he could not tell it was not meat. He also had the waffle fries which were big and good. Job well done highly recommend this to anyone ( don't have to be Vegan) to enjoy a good meal. Thank you.
I am a crazy huge fan of Planet Vegan! I love being greeted upon entry, and they are genuinely happy you came on in. I used to go when there was the food truck, and it was awesome... and this location is next level simplistic joy and happiness! I love ordering Jupiter Love with lettuce and of course all their homemade sauces. Their Nodoh Nozzarella, Tenders, and Crater Tots are my favorite sides, and fave sauces are 100 Thousand Island, Garlic Aioli, BBQ, Mango Habanero, and Ketchup. Their Stubborn Soda, Agave Vanilla, is so refreshing, and a perfect complement to all the delicious food! I love the comfy, simple chairs, cute backdrop, and it is always clean. Can I also mention too, their restroom...there are cool updated features and it is always fresh and clean each time I've gone. Can you tell I highly recommend this great place? The guys are always so friendly, accommodating, and are craftsmen in putting out quality items, consistently! I will definitely be back- Yay well done!
Oh my, this was the best last minute decision I've ever made! We went to hummus republic to find out they were temporarily closed for some reason and we were hungry so we've decided to randomly go to Planet Vegan down the building and it did not disappoint! Look I'm not vegan or anything I was just hungry lol but this place definitely hits the spot! Vegan or not, definitely give it a go!

Amazing Food! Man this is comfort food you crave for when you go plant based. The burgers are so delicious and savory. Not to mention they also have vegan ice cream there that is sweet and delectable. Definitely filled my graving for a good burger. The portions are big. So go there with room in your tummy. The service was great! They are super friendly and look like they love what they do keep in up Planet Vegan! Will be back again when we are in the area. By the way this isnt a food truck. Its an actual sit down location. read more

*shakes fist and talks in old man voice* - "Back in my day, vegan food meant raw carrots, a few celery stalks and a rice cake!" I'm truly glad those days are over and I'm truly glad I ate at Planet Vegan! The majority of the food here is fried and a little greasy, but you don't feel overly heavy when you're done eating. What a concept! I tried their breakfast sandwich and an order of their chicken nuggets and fries. Everything was delicious and if this was a blind taste test, I could not have told you this was vegan. They don't just nail down the flavor, but also the texture you are used to when eating food like this. The hash brown on my breakfast sandwich was crunchy and the plant-based protein items tasted just like egg, bacon, and sausage. Their "chicken" nuggets and fries were just as good. I was surprised at the nuggets texture, and bite. No meat? Could have fooled me! I brought my leftovers home and had my kids try the chicken nuggets and fries. Kids are surprisingly keen when it comes to switching out their favorite food item for a similar, but healthier option. They wolfed down the nuggets were asking for more. I have had this on my radar for a LOOOONG time! Located in the 'Park Place' shopping center north of Fresno; it's a safe, clean area with easy parking. Owned by a FRESNO raised (Central High graduate) LOCAL!!! Mike became a vegetarian eight years ago to improve both himself and his family's health. Which it DID! He lost a lot of weight with the switch TOO! He went on to college and opened up this family operated business! He is a man with a mission, worth supporting! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was exceptionally clean with a minimalist decor. They had a wall monitor for sports, but the volume was CONSIDERATELY low which made for a peaceful environment. You can also dine on their patio, which has a quiet field across the street. Relaxing. We ordered the sampler plate to try it all out. The slider tasted exactly like a regular MEATY burger! Now, if they used a FLAME grill, that would really knock it out of the park! The cross-cut fries tasted like those you would get at Chick-fil-A. With the sampler, I ordered the Jalapeño sauce (nice and HOT), and the Garlic sauce (nice and BOLD). All the sauces are made in house. YUM, YUM! Onward to the ice cream! :D My husband bought a double so we could 'taste test' the different flavors ( wink- wink ). He had Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie, and Chocolate Mint (good strong mint flavor). I had Vanilla and Butter Cookie Crumble (tasted like Butter Pecan to me). The texture is kind of grainy for all the flavors, except the Butter Cookie Crumble. HEY! NO. DAIRY! Just think FRESNO, when you can't look another piece of broccoli in the eye, you can HAVE your FAST FOOD FLAVOR, and eat it too! read more

You wouldn't even know it was Vegan. The Galaxy fries are a meal in itself and an absolute favorite. Today we got to try the Chikn sandwich....Amazing!!! Seriously delicious. The flavor, the crisp of the breading. Totally wouldn't know if was vegan. And the staff, so welcoming. This is definitely the place to eat for good food. read more

This is a great event thanks to Nate Yelp Central Valley North. Really enjoy the family neighborhood businesses. This type of community business and event ensures community support. Food was very good and presented well. The staff greats you as soon as you enter making you feel appreciated and service was quick and food served hot. The ambiance is modern, very well maintained, restrooms are available and clean. Plenty of parking. Mike , Kyree , and B we will definitely be back. I got to mention the music was kicking. read more

Food: I've had their burger, nuggets, tenders, and buffalo chicken fries. I would recommend everything!! I've been coming to them since they were a food truck for all my vegan cravings and they've never disappointed. It's the closest taste to meat, super juicy, and super crunchy. Everything is made to order so you know it's hot and fresh. The workers are super kind, never had a problem with the service. Their brick and mortar is very clean and has beautiful art on the walls; good music and overall good ambiance. 10/10, I love taking family and friends here! read more

Inquired about their most popular offering and was offered a few with a brief explanation. 5 of 5 stars Food: After staff recommendation, I went with the Saturn Burger. For my side, I went with the Waffle Fries. To wash it off, I went with the Stubborn Soda - Citrus Hibiscus Orange. I'm not vegan but man the food here was flavorful and tastes just like meat, LoL. I probably couldn't tell if I put to a blindfold test if I was eating real meat or an Impossible burger =) Overall: This was a great experience for a non vegan like myself. He recommended Jupiter love burger and I got with nozarella sticks and it was absolutely amazing! Honestly could eat this EVERY day! It was so good and "tasty" would be an understatement!!! Planet Vegan Burgers Captain Planet - He's our hero He's gonna take pollution down to z e r o This place is unreal R I like myself a good chicken sandwich - let me tell you this was a pretty dang good chicken sandwich. I didn't really miss the meat at all. The Patty was sick and large with a nice crisp on the breading the lettuce was green and perky and the tomatoes were cold and juicy. The barbecue sauce or buffalo sauce what is theTraditional spicy vinegar-based with the creaminess to balance the flavor. I finally found myself licking the spilled sauce off of my fingers. Planet Vegan is OUT OF THIS WORLD good! Whether you're vegan or not, these burgers are some of the BEST burgers in Fresno. I LOVED visiting their food truck and am so happy they now have a storefront. They have cool artwork on the wall, plenty of seating, and absolute jams playing on the speakers. Service is pretty speedy considering these are made to order. My order took less than 10 minutes! I always get their single burger with everything on it (cheese, onions, tomato, pickles, lettuce, + sauce of choice), but literally everything on the menu sounds fire. I kid you not, this is one of my favorite burgers of all time. I'm not vegan, but these burgers are on another level. Their waffle fries are bomb too. Perfectly crispy and flavorful - these are leagues better than chick-fil-a waffle fries. I love all the sauce options they have too! Every single one I've had is a great pairing for the burger or their sides. My personal favorites are their garlic aioli and jalapeno aioli. Best planet in the milky way??? Planet Vegan!!! read more

The comeback is REAL! I'm no vegan nor vegetarian but I've always loved to indulge in meatless foods as well. I discovered planet vegan 4 years ago! While in their food truck. It was an era, and I'm so happy they've recovered. It took some time but we finally have a planet vegan restaurant! We came day 2 of their opening, Happy to say the wait wasn't terrible and I definitely expected tons of support. My group ordered the single burgers, galaxy fries, and our friend ordered the burger than resembled a Big Mac vegan mozzarella fries. My order was perfect! I ate a whole burger and split the galaxy fries, both tastier than before! You can really tell the cooks were working real hard for the juicy flavor. My friend and I cleared are plates super rejoiced over I love for planet vegan. The restaurant had comfy seating and beautiful wall art. My only complaints were this one lady who stole our seats and continued to move across the restaurant til she got better seats and the mozzarella sticks were just a bit of a sensory overload but the rest perfect! IMO, Planet Vegan is one of the few vegan restaurants in Fresno with such a strong following, from both non-meat and meat eaters. Fresno has come a long way with vegetarian/vegan options. Seeing Plant Vegans growing impact over the years has been amazing. They've come a long way and their food quality still delivers. It's a bit on the pricier side yes, but it's hella good! Lol. Meat eaters have told me they can't tell the difference. Bf is a big meat eater and he was impressed. My usual order is the single burger and the galaxy fries. We loved the galaxy fries. We were full for the whole day. I'm excited to try more menu items... but on my cheat days. Lol. Don't knock it til you try it. I'm excited for Planet Vegan and wish them all the best! Best vegan food in Fresno! Ordered the burger and the gala-dilla, the fillings of both are delicious and you could never tell that they are vegan. Amazing flavors and textures, and a chill atmosphere! read more

I ordered the galaxy fries and they were awesome! I'm not a fan of vegan cheese so the light usage was perfect for me. It was a little spicy for me but I'm a lightweight! I'll definitely be back! The Pokémon lady read more
