Too long of a wait time , rude employees , I ordered this food like 45 minutes ago and I'm still here

Messed my up my order 4 times and they can't seem to answer the phone. I feel robbed.

Worst service and food I've had the pleasure of not enjoying. I ordered several add ons to my order and none of them were on my burger. zero. When I tried calling back to the store no one answered so I called their corporate customer service. The manager then called me back. When I said I wanted my money back they proceeded to tell me I could get it back if I returned the burger. When I refused I was called a difficult customer. I explained that I didn't want to spend more gas money and then the manager being condescending told me he would pay for my gas from his own pocket. I have for the last three weeks tried to resolve this with customer service but no one there can actually help you. Whataburger has created an air of pretending they care but refusing to actually help anyone once they've received payment. read more

The worst experience at any Burger Joint ever, let alone Tried and True "Texas Pride" Whataburger. After almost being screwed out of my money (change owed to me), the manager said they were out of the food I ordered (and paid for) just because she didn't want to give it to me over .04¢ cents (a that's right folks 4 pennys, oh and in actuality I over paid) , now remember they just tried to screw me over for my change (0.71¢) , And after someone else in line (after waiting for over 45 minutes) offered to pay for my whole meal ( because I was waking people up in the drive through line) The manager Still didn't want to sell me the food I had ordered, citing that they were out (again remember this is food I already paid for). She proceeded to tell me that for .04 cents her drawer would "be short", but then when I explained that I was .71 cents short and that I was sure they'd been doing this for a while and couldn't be short in their drawer (they'd be over due to this practice) she became agitated ( still my change is wrong at this time). When I finally gave in after arguing for over 5 minutes I said "F it" just give me my money back, she said "fine" At to which point the manger closed the window on me and disappeared for another 3-4 minutes (while there still a long line) . And came back with a different order, and gave me back the wrong change Again. After I explained that she was wrong on the charge and the order she said I a Condescending voice "Here, here's Your Dollar back, Apparently You Really Need It" . Yes , the fact is that I Do indeed need that 1 dollar, precisely to buy food. Long story short I left with No Food and left to feel like a total Douche. I called back to get the name of the manager in question and was told that I could not have her name after I said I would file a formal complaint. It's not a matter of the money , it's a matter of being Felt like I'm being screwed over by a company I love and enjoy. I know it's not the company's fault. Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth Yet Again with Whataburger. After a long day at work, this was definitely not the service I was expecting (actually at this branch it's 40% bad experience) . I'm usually very calm cool and collected , but this interaction left me fuming due to the managers crass and blasé attitude. Whataburger you yet again Left me with The taste of disappointment instead of the taste of a delicious juice double burger, fries, and onion rings that I order at least 3-4 times a week. If I could leave no stars I would. They charged me for large fries and gave me medium. Management is trashhhhh they wanna refund me 38cents instead of keeping a valuable customer. The fact that I had to drive all the way from Pharr because they're whataburger was closed I'm disappointed. read more

Horrible service! They always get the orders wrong or over charge us, then when we ask for the correct order we are greeted with attitude of employees who don't even look happy doing their jobs. I only come here cause it's the closest one but it's better to just drive to another city to find a better Whataburger. Even though we have great locally owned start up restaurants like Tower Burger and Big Daddy's burgers, sometimes you just want a "simple" Whataburger with toasted buns, grilled onions, double cheese, grilled jalapeños and why not, with double meat. The Monterrey Melt is pretty good and has a great flavor, but my top favorites is the double meet or #5 which is the burger with bacon. (I'm a simple guy) Although the honey BBQ Chicken Sandwich is one of top favorites as well. It all depends if I'm feeling like a cheesy guy or if I'm craving BBQ. Now whenever I come here, it has to be worth it so I make sure I order some curly fries and the spicy ketchup because my fiancé prefers that ketchup than the original one.(in my preference I like the original one better.) I haven't had a chocolate milkshake since I was in high school, so I'll be sure to order one next time I go!! read more

My husband and I were eating here on2/1/18 at 3:59pm with another couple. We eat here quite often. On this day he was eating a mushroom and Swiss, he loves it. He found something in his sandwich that looked like a plastic coated twist tie. I took it up to the manager who's name was Raul. He took it and wrapped it up in a napkin. He then came to our table took our name, address, and telephone number and told us management would contact us and would make this right. It is 2/23/18 and we have never received any communication by mail or phone yet. I think this is a really bad way to treat customers. We have never gone back to this what's burger since the incident.
