Before I made my last review I had emailed in a complaint through the Whataburger app and was told I would be contacted in 3-5 days. The manager Kip was extremely rude, unprofessional and out of line. I placed an order online and when I came to pick it up they said someone already picked it up. I asked if they would remake it since I already paid and be said no it wasn't his problem since it was already picked up and if I wanted them to remake the food that I would need to reorder and pay for it again. I told him that did not make sense since I already paid for it and they gave my food out to the wrong person. He said he didn't care because it wasn't his responsibility to check the receipts when someone picks up an order as he proceeded to raise his voice at me. He would not take responsibility for his teams wrong doing of giving out my order to the wrong person. Terrible professionalism. I'll be sure not to visit this location anymore. read more

It's a Whataburger... nothing too crazy to review here. But living around the corner from this location and visiting nearly everyday, I owed it a few words. This location is right off of W Parmer and is fairly easy in and out. The drive through is a bit congested and blocks the parking spots along the building. Service is usually slow too, so be prepared to wait if you choose the drive through. The food itself isn't bad and my order is usually correct. The staff is friendly too. Overall, not a bad spot if you're looking for cheap fast food. read more

If I get hungry in the middle of the night, it already sucks that I only have ONE option and that option is a 20 minute to an hour time commitment in the drive through, so when I finally get to the front I really don't need pop-pop's little attitude. A few weeks ago I tried the Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger (sans bun) for the first time. HOLY WOW! The combination of the sweet & Spicy sauce mixed with the mustard was SO delicious!! I've been a Whataburger customer for more years than I'd like to admit. I've tolerated the slowest drive through lines in the industry because I really enjoyed their burgers. The service (quality) now hovers around a zero for me. What makes handing a complete order of food to your customer so hard? Today I went through the drive through, ordered 3 burgers, fries, onion rings, ect. Picked up at the window, and pulled up (allowing the car behind me to get to the window) before I started doing an audit of my order. Discovering only 2 of the 3 burgers, I jumped out with my bag and went inside. The manager was very quick to ask "what did we miss"...and I told them. He went back to the kitchen and came out with a bag.....with the barest of burgers. Of course I didn't inspect the actual burger????????? to make sure they actually put the right burger in the bag. Disappointing. Yes, I know there are many other things much more devastating than not getting the right burger, so I'm keeping it in perspective. So....when I just can't be satisfied with any other burger......I'm going to have to actually unwrap every burger in my Whataburger order to make sure they actually included what they had agreed to. One star is generous. Walked into this location a little after 10 tonight. The youngster behind the counter couldn't figure out how to enter an A1 Thick And Hearty without onions and had to "call a friend" for help. That finally got done but then they forgot to give us an order number. After some attempts at them finding the lemon packets for iced tea, we got our order. It was brought out packaged to go, even though we ordered it for there. The two orders were mixed up with the sides, but we managed. Then the A1 Thick and Hearty burger had onions. I returned it to the counter and I was told they'd make a new one. After a few minutes, I found out they had not even started on remaking a burger. I asked for a refund and we got ready to leave. Then the manager, Daniel Lopez, came over with a replacement burger. He also handed me a business card explaining that Whataburger does not allow open carry of firearms. My firearm remained concealed underneath my jacket and he said it was seen when I placed my wallet in my back pocket. I explained that the business card he gave me was not in compliance with Texas law and he said that they were a private business and didn't have to post a sign. While this is technically correct, it's unlike any other business I've seen. To me, it's much as if they're trying to both have and eat their cake. There's no sign to drive off gun owners, but they choose to ban anyway. The combination of poor service, bad attitude, and the noncompliance with Texas law ensured that this was my last visit to Whataburger ever. read more
