Chicken Finger & Cane's Sauce - finger licking good!
    Jinna R.

Raising Cane's has the best chicken fingers in town and their Cane's sauce is bomb! Fresh and extra crispy chicken, and fast service, what else does a girl need? Note: We normally do a drive-thru so cannot comment about the inside/ambiance or dine-in service.

I keep coming... my son is a big fan of this place. Chicken is so much better than any chick file to me. Service is usually quick and I like their reward program.

This location is always on point with their service, the quality of food, and cleanliness! Their quirky phrases and friendly service make the long but quick lines all that much better. They have never forgotten or messed up my order and they are always very quick and effective.

The food is always very fresh and hot, and the employees always seem unusually friendly and cheerful, and it's always very clean. It feels like it would be a pleasant place to work, unlike a lot of fast food joints, so I like to support that. But mostly I come here for the food. The sauce makes good stuff even better. My one quibble is the lack of a snack size option. You can always put together an a la carte meal--and I've been known to order a kid's meal (supposedly for 12 and under) and no one seems to mind. At least one employee is likely to check in with you while you eat. Nice touch!

After shopping all morning I felt a little hungry and then I realized oh canes is on my route home that's great ! . I couldn't stop thinking about the sauce 2 days prior so I HAD to go. I finally pulled in the drive thru ..not long of wait .. got my food (3 finger combo with a lemonade ) after being out all day I knew that lemonade was going to hit. I payed for my food and went happily home with excitement that I was finally going to eat what I was craving. I enter my home and set everything down ready to eat. I open the box and then I see this ... wth is this . Why are the tenders almost the same size as the sauce I was filled with anger after seeing this. 9.49 plus tax I had to pay for these small ass tenders. I still ate it bc I was SO HUNGRY but oh boy was I mad. Never going there again.

This is a Box Combo and comes with a drink.

This was our 1st time Raising Cane's, and it's better than imagined. It was freshly fried, and out in a flash. And turned into our new favorite, if we want chicken.

The chicken strip sandwich is the way to go. Easy enough to handle and tastes great too.

Cane's never disappoints. They have such a limited menu but it works, cause they always get it right. Service is outstanding especially for a fast food. I prefer to go to local restaurants, but every now and then I just need a quick meal that will make my kids happy and Cane's got it. One of my absolute favorite things about their food is that it's still hot when we get home. Granted, we only live 5 minutes away but I can't really think of any other fast food joint that can pull this off.

Everything I got was delicious. My chicken was tender, my fries were salty, and the Texas toast was the right amount of moist. I got the lemonade to drink and it was exactly how I like it, a little sour. For a fast food place they sure know what they're doing.

So incredibly average. Nothing special. Kids like it. There are plenty of competitors. I prefer Zaxby's.

Okay Culver's... I see you. Because this was redemption. My…read morefirst visit didn't do it for me, but this time? Whole different experience. The burgers were legit. Cooked to order, juicy and full of flavor. That buttered, toasted bun? Soft with just enough crisp to hold everything together without falling apart. And yes--everything that was supposed to come on the burger actually showed up. (We love consistency.) The mushroom and Swiss burger deserves its own moment. Those butter-sautéed mushrooms with garlic and seasoning paired with the Swiss cheese? Whew. That's the kind of bite that makes you pause mid-chew. Now the chocolate malt... listen. Thick, creamy, made with fresh frozen custard and real dairy--it didn't even make it to the "perfect picture" stage because I was already in it. It was that good. Friendly drive-thru service, minimal wait, and prices that didn't make me side-eye my receipt. Culver's came back strong on this one. And just like that... I'm back in.

Well we got doosie for yall!…read more Passing thru Hutto area and round rock... we saw Culver's and said let's do it! Culver's is smaller burger chain around Austin, we hit them up last Saturday around 6-7pm on 30May2026 (just in case management is trying to isolate the issue) It was busy but not crazy and we thought... oh yea... they are cranking out orders!!! This is a people review not a food review... it was just lame people stuff Running the drive thru was a 30 yo lady who looked like a 45 yo Daniel Cormier... 20 Minutes later (4 cars in front us) we get the food.. good enough! NOW... We want management to see what we see... Daniella (don't know her name, buzz cut hairdo) can't seem to figure out how to focus on taken orders and taking payment... we couldn't hear her because she had the mic too far away...instead focusing on work, she look like the star at a comedy show making everyone laugh... giggling and chatting with her coworkers standing next to her while asking us to repeat the same order 3 different times... It was as if Daniella was challenging the world to say something... she oozed the confidence only true irreverence and contempt for accountability can yield!!! She tried to portray a crash out vibe... lame! Her attitude and personality are a cancer to success... she's an individual who wants to run a team, but doesn't know what she wants to do in life... she doesn't want to be good at drive thru work, I know that... she is infecting your workforce and leading the charge to being the reason why people will continue to complain about your location until she is called out and retrained with a purpose or dismissed... Clearly Daniella is special and her thoughts and feelings are more important than the task at hand... So she shows up and entertains herself by making life difficult for paying customers while she's getting paid... I wish I knew her real name, she was truly a pill of a person... I'm sure you know exactly who I'm talking about... just because those types tend to get weird attention as she remains simply an observer of her own life... a passenger who watches the autonomous nature of her attitude play out through her self justified poor behavior.... Yea sad, she'd rather be rude and non compliant than have a positive impact in the moment for the benefit of being good at your job... Oh... AND we got food sick after... that's why the review!! Is it possible Daniella is the manager, so maybe this is just normal... I noticed similar reviews as mine...

As someone who works in management, I really appreciate great customer service and strong leadership when I see it. Scott was approachable, helpful, and made me feel valued as a customer. You can tell he truly cares about the guest experience and represents Torchy's extremely well. It's easy to leave reviews when something goes wrong, so I think it's just as important to recognize someone who goes above and beyond. Scott absolutely deserves the recognition and is a great asset to this location. Also, the horchata? 10/10. Absolutely delicious. Thank you, Scott, for such a great experience. I'll definitely be back!

There ain't nothing more Austin than eating at Torchy's Tacos…read more And that counts even if we are talking Pflugerville. Pfluger Pfolks are just Pfreaky in their own Pfloodle-be-doodle way. * * * I am always happy when I eat at a Torchy's. I usually can't resist eating a Democrat, a Republican or an Independent simply for the obvious X-rated jokes that led to the tacos getting that name. For some reason, those jokes never appealed to me at Voodoo Donuts when they were totally catering to that line of thinking. And yet, even at the age of 71, I still get titillated eating the appropriate taco at Torchy's. I also get complete and total little kid thrills when I order off the secret menu. You know how four year olds or seven year olds just love it when you take them down a "secret" path or you show them a "secret" door? I get that way when I order off the secret menu. Yeah the tacos on that menu are more expensive than the regular tacos more elaborate than the regular tacos and are neither better nor worse than the regular tacos. I still like asking for the menu and feeling like an insider. Even if that means paying $2 more for my taco for the thrill. * * * I went with nachos this time ... Because they were running a nacho special ... And because nachos are one of my favorite comfort foods. Bad nachos are only fair rather than bad - because they are nachos. (Unless of course, there is a health department issue and you are scraping mold off of one of the chunks.) Good nachos are excellent - because they are nachos. So me loving the nachos at Torchy's Tacos doesn't say anything about whether they are good or bad nachos. I am the Nachos Mr. Rogers. "Nachos - I like you just the way you are." * * * I will say however that the Pfulgerville Torchy's is like a lot of the newer out-of-Central-Austin Torchy's. It is bigger, better decorated and bar-prominent. The College Station's Torchy's is much the same way. The Torchy's we know and love in Austin were placed in holes-in-the-wall because that was all that Torchy's could afford at the time. The miniscule quirky locations gave Torchy's a Keep-Austin-Weird kind of charm. While I love that charm, I also love big and beautiful. And if that had been a drinking day, I would have loved that bar. They don't do the premium whiskey bottles I look for in a bar. But who is drinking $35 Japanese whiskey in a taco stand? (Or rather who is drinking $35 Japanese whiskey in a taco stand That is NOT on East Fifth Street under a new Yuppie apartment complex?) At Torchy's you get a margarita or maybe a tequila shot or maybe a Mexican martini, and you are done with it. If you are drinking beer, you are doing lager. * * * So Torchy's rings the right bells for me, And that includes the Torchy's in Pflugerville. And if the Republicans were eating Democrats, And the Democrats were eating Republicans, We would all get along just a whole lot better. America would be a happier place.
