The food has gone downhill. Whataburger needs to concentrate on their food and not the marketing of the logo.

WHATABURGER NOT My Wife and I were on a Road Trip and stopped in at Whataburger in Burnet, TX (#744) for a quick bite. It wasn't quick but understandable because this one cooks your food when ordered. Theresa was our order-taker-person and lets just say; "She ROCKS" - and provided the Best Customer Service. My Wife ordered their 3-Chicken Strips with Ranch Dipping Sauce & small drink. I ordered their "Grilled Chicken Sandwich", no combo, just the sandwich. Theresa informed us that it will be about 8-minutes and a little later checked on us to see if that's okay to wait, it is. Our order was ready and we ate in the Truck due to having our Doggie with us. Opened my Chicken Sandwich and the heat escaped the wrapping - this baby is Heat Hottt. Took a bite and this baby is Heat Hottt - and fresh from the Grill. This is how they should be served. As far as the taste, there really was none. The Chicken was Tender but Bland, even with the Seasoning on it, imbedded in the Chicken. Don't know how Whataburger does there thing, but this is not how it should be. Just like there Burgers, very Bland. My Wife LOVES Chicken Strips and said hers were just 'Okay', nothing special. So, okay, there you have it. Nothing Special about Whataburger at all except this Chicken Sandwich was served Heat Hottt and the Service was Awesome. Next time we go through Burnet, I'm going to stop in here and give Theresa a "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award and a Nice Tip because she is Awesome. Yelp reviews stated this Whataburger is CLOSED, well people, we were just there and it is Not Closed and Whataburger shows it still OPEN. They only have a 2Star Rating so that may be the problem. read more

Zero - no stars deserved. Nothing about the experience here was good. Waited 10 minutes in the drive thru after person initially came on and told us to wait to order. Not rush hour and no other vehicles in line. Customer service was sooo bad. Ordered 2 burgers and onion rings. Another 10 - 12 minutes to wait at the window so expecting freshly cooked meat. NASTY! Obviously had been sitting around somewhere- cold and slice of cheese wasn't melted. Condiments were soaked into the bun. Bun was mushy like it had been sitting in a steamer for who knows how long. Onion rings were the only item that was even warm. Needs some serious management attention. I worked food service as a first job and putting out nasty food doesn't bring back patrons. read more

YA WANT MUSTARD WITH THAT?!?! Ordered a Sweet and Spicy burger with the sauce on the side. The spicy sauce was on the side alright... but for some reason they figured I wanted mustard plastered ALL OVER. I'm usually ok with a little mustard but this was inedible. So, I went to this Whataburger on Sunday at 6:30 am because the sign said open 24HOURS!!!! I found it off when I pulled up that they were closed. I pulled around to the window and talked to this rude lady manager who told me they were not open because "it's too expensive to change the signs". Wow. Really? The meat was about dime thickness, over cooked and cold, there was no less than eight pickles on each burger and the fries were cold. I ordered online and requested curbside pick up, I arrived at the store at exactly the time it said my order would be ready. I checked in on the app and selected the space I was parked in. 20 minutes later I went into the store to inquire about my order. They saw it on the board and finally located it under the drive through cash register. They placed all the bags on the counter then handed my drink cups for me to fill. I commented that I ordered curbside pick up had I wanted to wait in line fir my order and do my own drinks I would have done pickup. The counter person snapped at me that they were 9 people short! When I arrived at 12:06 there were very few people there by 12:30 when I went in to get my order they were slammed but my order was just sitting under the counter. He started to gag and had to pull over before throwing up in the truck , i then asked was is not sweet tea and said no it was spoiled you can literally taste it. Stopped here on a road trip just now. Asked for 2 double meat whataburger jrs and a kids meal. We checked that all the burgers were there but once we got back on the road we realized that they were all single meat. Not exactly able to make a U-Turn in rainy traffic on a time schedule to go back. This made for a disappointing experience. I posted this review and their management responded quickly. They were courteous and helpful in resolving this matter with us even though we live far away from that location. We look forward to our future experience with them. read more

Anyway, in getting coffee from those pump cylinders, we told her that the de caf machine needed to be refilled. She said it still had coffee in it, we just needed to hold the hinges at the back to help keep the lid down. How the heck am I suppose to know that?
