The service has been continually slower and slower, we rarely go there now due to there always being such a long wait time

This is quite possibly the worst managed WB in the state. Inside is always a mess, food takes forever and is wrong more times than it is accurate. In serious need of management turnover or lengthy staff training. read more

Slowest customer service I hate coming here but, this is the only fast food in the area. They will also mess up on your order.

Katlynn served me and was incredibly sweet. She even came and asked how the meal was and later came to take my tray to the garbage. Great employee. Had the double bacon cheeseburger add grilled jalapeños. It was great, very happy with my random thanksgiving dinner. read more

The soda machine was down and the manger was not going to fix it and they did not seem to care about it I had a Dr Pepper. Adaleece was the manger at Whataburger and she was not going to remake our order from last night that was mess up we are not going back there at all read more

I absolutely love Whataburger and up until yesterday have never experienced a bad one. My husband and I were traveling and stopped at Whataburger (1614 North Access Road, Clyde, TX 79510) yesterday (3/3/2019) around 10:45 am to have lunch. I normally do not complain or even write negative reviews, but that was by far the WORST Whataburger I have eaten. We both ordered a #1 with Cheese and a medium french fry. Fries came out cold and cooked in what tasted like burnt grease. The Whataburger was cold. Cheese would not melt. It was overloaded with mustard and the burger was tough (like it had been cooked before 6 am or something). We travel frequently and drive through Clyde about 3 times a month. We will not stop here again. read more

There are definite differences between the Whataburger locations and this one here in Clyde hasn't ever let me down. They are all very friendly and the managers seem to treat the employees right. The food is always fantastic and since I don't get to eat it very often, I always get the Patty Melt on Texas Toast. The Jalapeno Ranch Sauce they use with Monterey Jack cheese is to die for. I always ask them for the fresh fries, since I'm not eating fries very often I want to make sure that they are hot and fresh when I do so they will go out of their way to deliver. The other thing I really like about the Clyde location is that the sweet tea is not too sweet. Its really good and since so many people drink it, It's always fresh. Lastly, If you need a cup of coffee to finish your meal off, they have that too and I have to say, its not by any stretch, a pour over but its actually pretty decent coffee that is bold and fresh. It was good to be back and If you don't eat Whataburger very often like myself, I highly recommend making sure to check the one out in Clyde. Cheers MLA read more

Went here for the first time today. i got the bacon avocado burger and it was SO salty. I wasn't sure if that was the norm or not and just sat there debating on if I should say something. i took 2 bites and couldn't eat more. I googled other reviews and noticed other people have had the same issue. I decided to bring my burger to the counter and explain it to the staff that I wasn't going to be able to eat it. It was like the salt shaker lost the lid and spilt too much salt. Anyway they offered to remake it and I said I didn't need them to. I figured it was lre-mixed into the patty. They clarified I can have it salt-free and I appreciate that they went the extra mile to help me have my meal. My husband and daughter enjoyed their meals. A regular double burger and the chicken bites for the kiddo. Thank you, this is our meal with a long drive ahead! read more

Locally owned. I've been here several times and I'm pretty sure they used to have store decorated with animals such as mounted dear but those have been taken down. Anyways,,,the people are always friendly, orders are accurate and it's always clean. The manager stopped by and asked if we needed refills. If you have never been to a Whataburger before you must try it. I don't know what makes their ketchup taste so good but they have the best ketchup ever. read more

My husband and I stopped by on our way back to DFW from Abilene and ordered 2 chicken strip meals. We got chicken strips that were hard and dried as though they had been made days prior and set out all that time. The fries were also cold and hard and had that old-grease taste to them. It was perhaps the worst food I had ever eaten. We waited in line behind 4 vehicles so my initial impressions were that our foods would be fresh and hot. We got what I think were the previous days' leftovers, and it appears as though they did not even bother to heat things up before serving us. Nevertheless, this restaurant is now on our list of places to avoid! read more

As a California I make a point to check out the local restaurants whenever I'm in a new state. Never had WhataBurger before. I thought the service was great and the spicy ketchup is interesting. Fries are decent too. Unfortunately I thought the burger was average. Definitely better than most burgers you will find at the run of the mill fast food chain restaurants like McDonald's, but nothing in comparison to In-n-out burger, the habit, or smash burger. Once you've had any of those three you will know what a really good burger tastes like. read more

Good food most of the time. Management is poor however. At any given time you'll wait in the drive thru line for 10-15 minutes at least and then when you get to the window, they just make you drive forward and they'll bring it out to you. Sometimes taking another 10 minutes. They often mess up my order. I don't even order anything complicated, most times I order it as it is on the menu with no subs. Just slow and poor management. The Clyde WAB is very busy, because it is located on I-20. However, they do their very best to get orders done quickly and get customers on the road again. Their burgers are great and the service is awesome. read more

I was born/raised in the Georgia (McDonalds or Wendy's for us) I'm moving to California and had to stop by Whataburger (delicious!) I say the fries beat McDonalds fries by a long shot. Love this place! However, the cashier was downright rude. It's not my fault you chose minimum wage in orange. Seriously some people need to teach these 'kids' manners. read more
