Truly one of the worst fast food places in Edmond. We've never had a time where we haven't had to wait for 15 plus minutes for pre-ordered food - tonight's order was for 7:35 pm and we waited in the restaurant until 8:10 pm. Cold fries. Cold patty melt -- cheese was still cold and NOT at all melted. Dry patty melt -- very little sauce and onions on the burger -- no flavor. Shake cup was only about 80% full (see photo). Employee attitude -- don't want to be there, and are not helpful. These employees clearly do not care about their customers. I will not return. read more

Second time visiting this location. First visit ordered from drive thru and realized I had wrong order. I contacted store and was told to return it. I was a pretty good distance from restaurant so they agreed to let me bring back receipt and get new order. Thankfully I had the ticket from the wrong order along with correct ticket. Receipts are everything these days! Second trip, walked inside to a beautiful clean store. The cashier was in the back but the manager came out and took orders. After explaining everything she was kind enough to remake order. The store wasn't busy yet it took so time to get food but I was appreciative I wasn't hassled. Overall a good experience. read more

Let's make this clear, we love WhataBurger! We were traveling back to Kansas last Friday, shortly after the lunch hour. This is our last chance for WhataBurger, going North. We normally stop at McDonalds when we are on road trips but thought we'd like to try something else, so we tried Whataburger. Although the fries tasted decent their presentation was not: they were a soft and bent over (soggy). We tried the 'spicy' ketchup. I wouldn't recommend it. The double burger I had was decent and very meaty. They forgot to give us our medium chocolate shake, and when we went back to the counter, they made up for it by giving us a large shake instead of a medium. And the chocolate shake tasted AWESOME!! It was the best part of the meal. But overall as my wife said, she now knows why we always go to McDonalds: the best fries out there and consistent, good tasting food at cheap prices. I had never been to a Whataburger before and my friend and I got hungry in our road trip from Wichita to Oklahoma City to see Lady Gaga. The first thing I noticed when I opened the door was the smell of cleanliness. Not an overbearing cloud of bleach or pinsol, but a welcoming clean smell. I looked around - this fast food resturant was spotless. Much different than the fast food resturants that I have experienced in my native Milwaukee. The very kind employee assisted me with ordering, since this wasn't a McDonald's or Burger King, and she was just so nice! She even gave us a second order of fries (Which were delicious) probably because she knew that 1 order split between 2 girls, one being a huge lover of fries, just wouldn't cut it. Again, much different than prior experiences in Brew City.... Even though it is a chain fast food resturant, I was incredibly impressed. The burger wasn't anything to write home about - but it was good. The fries were great! And the customer service.... fantastic!!! Then we proceeded to wait for 27 minutes untill we asked the manager where our food was where he sarcastically said idk let me look around and found it sitting waiting to go out and brought us cold food. I love eating at Whataburger but the past two visits have been sub par. Extremely slow service and our fries were service cold. Our order was a duplicate number and so it was significantly delayed and our two year was miserable and mad everyone else miserable. It has been disappointing. Not sure why everyone thinks the food is so good? It's just average, and it takes 30-45 minutes to get the food in the drive thru.

I'm not surprised with my experience honestly. This location has been poor service wise for a while now. The drive-they is always too long of wait. Do not depend on this place if you have to be at work, you will be late. Do NOT go here if you're pressed for time in any form. It will take 20 minutes - 1 hour to get your food just depending on the day and time, which is most of the time. We've been avoiding this place, but I was really wanting a burger from Whataburger and this is the closest location for us. I order online because how SLOW this place is. I placed the order and it said it would be done at the latest 11:46 AM. And we get there around 11:55am and the food wasn't ready. I am then handed my order a couple minutes later to be told my honey BBQ toaster is nothing but dry chicken strips and cheese on bread. Store completely out of BBQ dipping sauce as well. At lunch time on a Saturday. I was pretty upset. I mean, this is exactly why we avoid this place. I left with my fiancé's cup in my hand too distracted from my frustration with the lack of a complete item. Kept my cool though. To only realize the cup that was suppose to be a water was nothing but ice.... Cmon guys. Are you kidding me? It would be one thing if it had been just one time. A misunderstanding. But to be completely out and still sell this item. No heads up before the food was brought out if they noticed what I had ordered. And then no water out in this heat. But this just keeps happened. I'm DONE. I can't come here again and spend money on something I won't get. Do NOT recommend. Just go to the Chick-fil-A. The Taco Bell even has better service. used to love Whataburgers, but this location has some issues with their drive-through. Twice we have got wrong orders and missing items. They need to slow down and get their orders right. As an ex-employee {long time ago} there is no excuse for this. I've cooked ran the drive-thru etc and these problems are caused by management rushing the crew. True everyone wants fast service but slow down enough to get the orders right. That said the staff has always been pleasant to deal with and they always correct their mistakes. It took 38" after ordering to get our food. We ordered two what- a burgers, fries, vin Ammon roll & dr. Pepper shake. Hamburgers were cold, French fries were nasty tasting & their ice cream machine was broken. As a first time visitor Whataburger I will never go again. Only reason this edmunds, ok.
