Never a good experience even if you order just fries. Anyone who eats here knows the fries are expensive especially the large. It makes sense since there much in the large. It becomes and issue when you pay for a large and get give you a small or medium. I know it's not the biggest thing in the world but that still expensive for not even getting what i paid for. I called. Told them my issue and asked if there was a way for a refund. Nope. They "write your name down" and you can just pick up the large fry when you're not busy. The only thing "fast food" about the burger was the mediocre quality. Onion rings weren't bad, but not worth waiting for. SLOW. RUDE. WORST FAST FOOD PLACE I'VE EVER HAD. Went to Whataburger to grab some quick food after traveling all day. We went inside to get the food to go because we haven't been to many. Ordered a Whataburger and grilled chicken salad. The couple we were with ordered after us. They got their food 10 minutes after ordering. Perfect for them as expected. We waited another 10 minutes (total 20 now) and asked if our food was close to done. At this time another 5-8 orders went out. The manager told us the chicken for salad was being cooked and takes 7 minutes. (Been 20+). We told her we would even take the salad without the chicken even. After another 10 minutes (now 30+). She brought the food over and was rude and sarcastic. Either way the grilled chicken was hot. Well it didn't matter too much as the burger and fries now had sat on counter for 20+ minutes. To the point they moved the bag so we wouldn't see it. Food was cold, the average at best burger now taste like rubber, fries that looked good were cold and mushy. I won't be going back. The other group who went next door was 50 cars deep to get chicken were in and out with hot food way way before this. Lesson learned. read more

It's Whataburger not Chik-Fil-A (it's next door) so don't gripe about your nuggets. They cook to order and always have so it's never lightning fast. It's clean whenever I go inside, food quality is typical Whataburger food. Taquitos are actually little burritos and they're awesome as are the biscuits. Patty melt is my favorite burger for a fast food establishment but the mushroom Swiss is a close second. read more

This was my first time eating at Whataburger. Having grown up in SoCal and living in NC for many years, I had only heard of this chain but never eaten at one. I tried the Sweet and Spicy Burger and it did not disappoint. It was huge and had tons of flavor. It far surpassed my expectations and was better than most burgers at other fast food competitors. So when you come to a fast food joint, you aren't expecting much except for food that you can swallow and that you don't have to wait too long for. So what else can you do to a fast food chain to make it more popular? Trying being the kind of people that these people here at this Whataburger are. When you order food from fast food places, you might expect for some of your order to be wrong. You might expect a typical under enthusiastic or over enthusiastic greeting. But at this specific Whataburger, you get personality. You get people who hear you the first time. Not because they "ultimately care", but because they do their job VERY well. If I were a a CEO looking for quality people, I'd look at this place. When you go to fast food and you decide to rate, you don't rate based on food quality (even though Whataburger and Braum's have better quality burgers/fast food than Sonic or McDonald's). Oh no! We Thanksgiving-ed beginning at 11AM with 40+ family members and now there aren't any leftovers. What is open? After 20 minutes of searching, only Whataburger. Almost always slower than a sit down restaurant in the drive through. Even in off hours. Just spent 20 minutes in the drive through at 7pm on a Sunday. Food is only ok. They frequently run out of fries and make you sit and wait for them. Skip it and go to Steve's Rib close by for a few extra bucks. read more

I've had good Whataburger over the years and had very few poor experiences. This location is typically very busy because it's next to the interstate. My last experience was awesome. I was so very hungry and wanted a classic whataburger. When I was ordering, I could not decide whether to take my food to go or eat it there. I have severe autism which makes my decision-making take longer than the average person. While I was making my decision, the cashier Hannah T verbally berated me claiming I was holding up the line. Never had been treated this poorly. People were turning around in drive thru because they said they were to busy to take orders. Locked all doors so no one could get inside. We called and talked to a guy named Stephan and he answered "what do you need". We asked if they were not taking orders and he said "we are, people are just impatient". Got to the drive thru finally and he was the one taking orders. He said that we couldn't upgrade a drink on a meal and was very rude. The car next to us, she was ordering and asked what all came on a burger and he never responded and so she left. When we got to the window, he charged us for her order.... Then proceeded to tell us that it was a "discount" because he didn't want to go back in and fix his mistake. Not pleased at all!!! Extremely rude!
