Whataburger on Montgomery is an absolute joke. They forgot the two sauces I asked for barbecue and honey mustard. I walked in to ask if I could have the sauces and 35 employees looked at me like I was crazy. Crazy to believe that they can have 35 employees and not get two sauces in a bag. When comparing them to other Whataburger restaurants I have to give them 5 stars. Look, they have forgotten a slice of cheese once, and things like that, but for the most part, the food is good, and they do have great customer service. During the pandemic they really have stepped up their game concerning food orders. Definitely my go to Whataburger. read more

This is consistently on of the worst locations. Every time I come the wait time takes forever, the food is stale/cold, and/or the extra sauce I ask for isn't included (which I paid extra for), and they never hand out the actual receipt (the cook's ticket is taped but the one which shows what was entered in the system isn't). Tonight I went through the drive thru as is typical. The chicken was cold and the pieces tiny, the fries weren't much better, the extra dipping sauce I ordered wasn't in the bag, and the receipt was not there! Let's just say I can't wait for the Chick-fil-a near by to finish their renovations, when they are finished I won't come back to this Whataburger! Extremely rude drive thru employee 12:45am 9/28/21. Probably the rudest employee at any business I have ever come across. She literally didn't want to be there what it sounded like rushing order , being rude and extremely unmotivated talking back to me when I said what item I wanted. No relay of order back to me. When you are walking out the door and happen to see the manager walking around in the cafe and tell him "that's the last time I'm coming here" and he looks at you like you're the 10th person to tell him that in the past hour and then just proceeds to do whatever he's doing without saying a word, you know there is a problem. read more

First time eating at a whataburger, and I have to say it was not what I expected. I think I was expecting from a fast food restaurant like a crap burger that you aren't sure is even real, and tastes like cardboard. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the burger was good, the fries were crispy and salted and it was overall an enjoyable meal. Honestly the slowest whataburger ever. We were waiting on the second lane and they took forever to finally get our order. At least five cars passed on the other lane before they got our order. There was no way for us to go back either since there was another car behind us. When we did finally got our the menu to order they were so rude as if it's my fault they work at a fast food restaurant. It's not my fault Tana that you got pregnant in high school and couldn't finish school so now you're working at the whataburger. What is wrong with this whataburger? For starters, the drive thru service takes entirely too long no matter what time you go, the food is always soggy and more cold than hot, the service is terrible- no one is friendly and staff seems rather indifferent to customers in general. We go here too often because it's very close to the house. I feel like the management needs to make this whataburger great again. read more

Have been to this location many times, due to location, and have always had to wait in the drive through, normally much longer than tonight. Tonight I went through the second lane of the drive through and the girl dropped my change. I mean dropped some and kept trying and kept dropping it. Did not say thank you or have a good night and did not wait for a response from me, then she walked inside. This location frequently had their equipment break. On any given night you will not be able to receive whatever it is you're ordering. If you were rushed for time do not use the drive-thru. Have had ok food here in the past but last week at 10:30 pm I had a Whataburger with cheese, everything except tomatoes. It tasted ok but the next day about 9AM I was sick with chills so bad I turned the central heat on and put on a robe. My temperature went from 98.1 to 99.5 in a short time. If I have food poisoning my body tells me what caused the problem, you know what I mean? You just know. Believe me it was the crap Whataburger and nothing else. When this happened I had eaten NOTHING for breakfast and NOTHING after the burger the night before. Took a big dose of magnesium and another digestive aid and finally was fine by the next morning. I will not be going back to ANY Whataburger ever. This is not the first time. 2 years ago at the one on Northwest Highway I ordered an egg and cheese biscuit and the egg was green. So I stopped here through the drive thru because I was in the neighborhood and hungry for something quick and good. Thats not what I got..at all. First of all, I ordered a patty melt, waited in line for awhile, to get to the window for them to tell me they are out of texas toast. Sooo a little late to tell me, but I could deal with it, people run out of things. Would have been nice to know when I was ordering. However,the guy at the window was friendly. Then I get the burger and start to eat it. Its a patty melt on a bun now...the bun was hard, the bun had next to no mayo on it, just a little splat of mayo and grilled onions in the a small center of the top bun. No bueno. And...the meat was dry. To top that off, the fries were soggy and old. I only ate two bites of my burger. I couldnt eat it, it sucked. I ate a few fries with spicy ketchup. The fact that they had some spicy ketchup I could eat a few of those terrible fries in when I was starving, is why I gave them 2 stars. read more

This location is so bad, I'm more confused than angry. Ranch on the Monterey melt...? And the bell peppers (all 3 pieces..), look like they were cut by someone who was blackout-drunk. The last Honey BBQ sandwich I got here had about an ounce of sauce on it and the three saddest chicken strips they could find. I've had many great burgers/sandwiches from whataburger, and even from this one in the past, but this is sort of silly. I hope they retrain the cook I've been getting food from. I'm not going here for a while, despite the convenience. I made a yelp account just to write this review. And I think yelp itself is a ridiculously crappy app/service to use, if it puts things in perspective.
