By far the worse place I've ever eaten at. Over the course of the past 6 months of me going off and on they consistently continue to serve bad food and have long wait times. Ok this review is going to be a little mixed. First: the store is a little too small and gets way over crowded at lunch. Second: the staff is all walking around in a daze, almost lethargic. 3 stars because I love whataburger but I don't love this location. Managers are trash rude and never wrong. The tallest manager is always putting his hands on the shoulders of the young girl employee. He also threatened employees with losing their jobs if they act a certain way. The younger manager with the ponytail is to cool for school to be friendly to customers unless it's a pretty girl. Food is always wrong in drive thru. Buns are soaked with grease. I have been going to whataburger all my life, the biggest disappointment thus far has been cold fries. Today we were passing through and wanted whataburger so we found this one. We went through the drive through so we wouldn't take too much time out of our way. We were told to pull up to wait for our food. 15 minutes passes. My husband goes in to see what's the hold up. They say they are behind because they got a $100 order. 15 additional minutes later, I go in to check on our order and possibly ask for a refund. I see our food on the back counter. I ask again what's going on? They mention the $100 order again. But yet we didn't get any update on the timing. Finally they bag up our 4 bags in a big bag and ask what I had. I also say 30 minutes for fast food is ridiculous. Get back to the car, the food is cold! The cheese wasn't even melted on the burgers! I went ahead and take it back for a refund, because waiting for whataburger is one thing but waiting for COLD whataburger is just nasty. Needless to say we will NEVER stop at this whataburger again. If they can't handle a $100 order on a Sunday evening, I'd hate to see after a football game (there was a stadium across the street). Btw there were at least 7 workers behind the counter. read more

Just in case you were thinking about going next door to get a fancy new "cookie jar" shake from the Sonic in Gonzales; be careful, especially if you are old like 80+ because you will choke on the cookie pieces mixed in.
